Use the search mate. Anyways, contact Alejandrissimo and Jinx13. They should be able to help you out for a fee.

No. It will only debrand, it won't not unlock anything.

hi! i'm planning to buy the diamond when it comes out here in india...however, it's locked to a service provider AIRTEL's sims.
Now, my question is, if i go and get the device without the sim, the device won't go into phone mode. and probably it'll give a wrong-sim error at boot up
so, suppose i flash the phone to one of the ROMs, will that remove the sim-lock? or will i have to depend on a sim-unlock tool (which so far hasn't appeared on this forum yet)
also, will i be able to use the phone in offline (no-sim) mode?
can someone shed light on this...thanks!

Thanks experience D, but i really not want to pay anyone to make a chance on my phone, i already pay it, very expensive because on brazil the tax is too high, and i think this is dangerous.
I miss you my x10, easily to put xrecovery, various roms, including Miui and Cyanogen.....
I'm again...
I'm looking to sony ericsson's website and it says
"The only way to determine if you can unlock the boot loader for your phone is to connect your phone to the Fastboot tool in the Android™ SDK. If your phone can connect to Fastboot, the boot loader can be unlocked."
I can connect my phone to fastboot, but why i don't can unlock the bootloader ??

Okay I just phoned Three, The network I am on to get the phone unlocked to any network and they said they will mail me a key to unlock on startup. Once this is done will this give me access to the bootloader?
No, you need to unlock the bootloader. Actually, unlocking the bootloader Sim unlocks the phone too.

Nooo. Three are sending me a code which i type in and it unlocks the phone to any network ( simcard ).
SOOO will that make it so I can access the fastboot?
NO it wont that code will only sim unlock it you have to actually UNLOCK the bootloader only then will you be able to use fastboot! Search the forum and read you will find it to be true

That doesn't void what I say. Sim-unlocking with your code doesn't unlock the bootloader, but unlocking the bootloader (and accessing fastboot) does sim-unlock your phone.
Afaik won't he still be locked out of fastboot even if he unlocks his simcard? Haven't most/all of the carrier purchaced phones got the fastboot locked down? Isn't that the case and he'll need to contact @Alejandrissimo about this and spend a little cash on unlocking it?

Possibly not, if he's referring to Three in Australia. I can't speak Three themselves, but Aussie carriers (Telstra here) seem to be leaving Fastboot enabled.

Yeah 3 has locked you out of fastboot and sim-unlocking won't do the trick. You'll need to pm @Aljandrissimo about getting your phone's BL unlocked. Afaik it's worth the little cash you'll pay for it (about 20$).
Check out his thread here in General section for more info

Hi everyone, yesterday I bought Arc S and it is sim locked.
My question is: If I root it or even unlock its bootloader put custom rom, kernel, etc., will this become problem for the unlocking the network? I will get my arc s to a service so i don't want to have problems.
P.S. on Service info/configuration it says: BL unlock allowed: No .... So if my network is unlocked will i be able to unlock the BL?

Probably not according to all those that have got their Phones back from a Service Centre.
Ty all
I'm really interested if someone with simlock can get access to the bootloder without paying for unlock service. I look several days in the internet and didn't find a way for that
