I keep getting this error... over and over and over... on CM7.1 Did I flash the wrong gapps or something???
I want to throw her piece of sh*t phone out of the window. This is frustrating.
You can try clearing the data on all the google apps via manage applications.
Did you flash the gapps from the CM7 thread? If so they are right. Tried reflashing them
Have you tried setting language to English UK or English US? I've heard that works.

Like the title says, my market application keeps force closing on me. I was on Cyanogenmod 6.1.1, tried a Desire Z sense ROM and decided to restore my CM 6.1.1 back up. Now my market keeps force closing and downloads wont start. Any help on how to fix this?

Did you wipe the ROM/cache before flashing ? You should always do so if you're switching between different ROM types.
I was using the latest market with the Sense ROM. Went back to the old one on CM, should I just try flashing the latest one and see what happens?
I didn't wipe before flashing back to CM on my restore (for whatever dumb reason). Guess I'll give both of those a shot, thanks
EDIT: Everything seems to be working now, just had to wipe, wanted to avoid doing that but guess not. Thanks for the advice guys
Hey guys,
I have this problem at my DHD on yesterday
When I open an app,it will pop out
"the application XXX(XXX)has stopped unexpectedly.please try again"
and force close
I don't know why how it happen and how to settle/fix it......
are you on stock rom or custom rom?
anyways, lets start by rebooting your DHD first...
Reboot, clear app cache, uninstall/install app. Try every step and after each step try if the app works. What kind of app are we talking here, it could be just a bad app that simply doesn't work very well.
Thanks guys, actually I already flash the new Rom again, and everything work fine.I just wonder why this happen...before I flash Rom,I try to reboot it,but still same..

i just got onto rempuzzle today, its running cool and smooth but i have some issue with android market. i tried to download angry birds, but couldnt install it. it finished downloading and then some error appeared that it cant be done or something like that so i deleted it and installed gapps and its even worse, because it just asks me for my google account and when i click yes, it force closes.. i tried to fix permissions, didnt work. can anyone help me?
Do you have an external partition on your sdcard??
If not you should really learn to read the first post of threads thoroughly before flashing anything.

First of all, sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find any solution that seems related to this problem or phone (I get some search hits for the S3).
So I have been getting this message and I think sync is screwed up. I can't say exactly how but, for example, I used to get an email on the mail manager and the gmail notification would be gone. Now I get both and both stay on.
The only solution I found while searching is going to settings (and here's my probably faulty translation from S3 to the HOX) --> Apps --> -->all--> Download manager and enable it. Well, mine is enabled and I still get the error... Help???
Looks like gapps (Google play... ect) wasnt installed properly. Try reinstalling the proper gapps package for your rom.

Thanks guys!! :good::highfive:
process.google.gapps has stopped
Hi guys. I know that some of the proposed solution is to enable the downloads. For note 2 users this problems continues to happen. There is 2 downloads app for note 2 and both of them are enabled. I tried to disable the download app with the icon pointing downward and enable the download app with the Android logo. Fortunately, the process.com.google.gapps has stopped is not yet popping for two days now.
I hope this will help. Thanks!
Well, "downloads" says it runs in the same process as "download manager" and has access to contacts. I think it's the contacts sync that caused this one my HOX but I didn't get any more error messages after reinstalling the gapps package.
EDIT: Emails often gave me problems too and that was the worst of it as it syncs with gmail a lot more often than contacts do.
I think that this issue has few ways to be solved, because the process is related to some google apps and services. I tried almost everything I read, but finally the solution was when I deleted my Google account and readded. I think my phone contacts got somehow messed up and syncing crashed the process. So final for me - delete Google account and add again was the solution.
