ICS SDK dump - Galaxy S II Themes and Apps

Get it while its hot (read ice cold)
http://www.multiupload.com/3LAX55ZV81
I know im gonna be picking this to pieces.
The apps need deodexing but apparently its not possible without updated tools.

You should let us know if there is anything interesting you find in there..
also just a quick question.. if i try to build my own ROM. is there a app on the PC i can try it with to see if it will actually boot? rather than flashing my actual phone

Go to running services .. normally, you would see android system with a ciq service and process running.
You might see it but it will have a size of zero and will not be able to start

You are wrong! Odexed roms are optimized dex.. everything is smoother and more efficient. Contrary to popular belief, themes and mods CAN be odexed. Amikam makes the fastest odexed, optimized, and modded roms on the planet.

in past I tried to install several sg3 ported apps, beginning with svoice before someone modded to avoid editing build.prop. so i would try installing with root explorer in system with right permissions .. then edit build.prop to sg9300 .. make sure you save backups as .bak just in case.

Try without modifying build.prop. If you have to modify, when using root explorer, it'll create a .bak of the original just in case. Unfortunately, I can't tested after I themed my rom.

ok there are different ways to install it all clearly laid out for you in the thread. I sugges take your time and read carefully. if you have rooted your phone then I dont see how this can be an issue. Honestly there are only a few ways to install anything android related:
Flash it - placing zip on sd card, booting into recovery and flash
install it - placing apk on sd card and clicking on it
Push it - done by using adb codes
Quite sure on that page its nothing more than flashing thru recovery since I have already done it.
