Hello guys I'm the creator of the Palm Pre theme and mod @ leakdroid.com we were contacted by Palm, Inc. They demand that we immediately remove the application and any advertisements regarding the application from any website on which they appear. This includes wallpapers/ringtones/icons/screenshots.
So i'm asking you all to remove any icon/wallpaper you might have.
It was a fun ride theming the AndroidOs. Mods please take action..

To be honest i dont see any point of me leaving it on my phone. What are the chances? Im just 1 out of god knows how many, i dont think they would actually track everyone down, you know how long that would take....

Palm sucks. For me the Pre theme was making me want more, i want the pre device as soon as it comes out (if the overheating is fixed).

you want to create something revolutionary that everybody will want to use, yet you don't know what it is and you are asking for ideas :/
if you truly want to do something for WM community, don't waste your time on yet another home screen or shell replacement. We have plenty of those already.
Create a framework so that other developers could code apps around. Make that framework flexible, look good, light and fast. Maybe even extend .NETCF35 with a new UI widgets.

I just thought it would be nice to have something i wanna use. I avoid my tp2 if i can. I upgraded from the original so i can say they both suck. I did not know if I should put this in the general section or not. As many of you advance user dislike that section. But anyways... I think it has been discussed before but I'll interject my opinion. Why in the name of sweet chocolate christ would you want to run the iphone os on here? I had every iphone since gen 1 and got the evo instead of iphone4 and I've never looked back. You know that expression" you don't know what you've got til its gone"? Well this is more like" you don't know what you had until you got something outrageously better"! I know devs like to do things just to prove it can be done. But id really hate to see a talented dev waste their time on this exercise in lew of something more useful like kernel, rom, and app development.

I am not saying I want to.. I really want to know if it can be done. Also I am interested in a few things the iPhone OS offers, but why in sand hills would I do something as stupid as buy an iPhone. I would never buy an iPhone. I think the phone is a peace of crap. But if I don't pay for the OS then why would I care to try a few things!
Seems strange, they never actually show the iPhone OS running on an Android device so how can you even tell if this is legit?
If it is, I think it is pretty cool. I am definitely an Android fan, but the more our device can do is always better!

I know for one thing, I always here that the iPhone has some great game that have not made it's way over to Android yet so that might please alot of people.
Wonder if the OS is jail broken this way. I still don't believe that it works though. I think we would have heard a lot more about this........

Yeah! Exactly... If I could just prove it. I tried to download the file from the site but the site was down. But I did look more into and found out that this kid from NJ has proved this method works.
So here is a list of stuff our Evo's can already run:
Android 2.2
Windows 98
Windows XP
Windows 7 (Buggy)
Ubuntu (Linux)
iPhone OS (Once proven by me)

First sorry I'm posting a lot I have history of confrontation with an iphone owner over whose device was better. So this sparks my interest a lot.
I agree it seems a bit fishy and the site to download the files doesn't exists according to Google chrome. So I cant even look into it or examine the files

So I just looked at the video again. Check out the comment: "yes, i have run into a lot of bugs. but i am working hard to fix them. This is why the files are not up yet. i hope to have them available with many bugs fixed by mid next week. for people that downloaded already.. please report bugs. thanks"

While I disagree with the person calling you names, which is totally uncalled for, there was no need for your "English" comment as well.
English may not be the persons primary language, but in an international forum such as this, you'll see grammar not being the best for some people.

While I disagree with the person calling you names, which is totally uncalled for, there was no need for your "English" comment as well.
English may not be the persons primary language, but in an international forum such as this, you'll see grammar not being the best for some people.
Truth of the matter is, at least they try. Maybe if you didn't understand him, say so, I sure didn't....
In the same breath, however, your comment was rude, condescending and just as uncalled for.
Really, was there a point to your post?
You could say you are joking all you want, but typed words show no expression.
So in essence you are both wrong, and in fact both a tad childish.

Hahaha, I think the one about cloud computing is priceless....seeing how everyone is trying their best to catch up with Google's cloud offerings, even Apple knows that's where the user pull is at.
There is no denying that Google has incredible vision.
I remember google Androids early days, defending the concept and making iPhone users look/feel stupid. Ha ha.
I say Google Android because google didn't always have rights to Android. Without Google, Android would be nothing. I knew there was a reason I signed up for gmail beta back in the day. Haha

I never used Android before 2.0, but I remember when my cousin showed me his G1 and was explaining how awesome it was when there were almost no apps for it yet.
I was on an Omnia at the time, and was extremely jealous...as I tapped at my screen with a damn stylus.

I was running WinMo 6/6.5 and thought I was in the future... that sure panned out.
