Hello,
I plan to buy a Parrot Asteroid radio for my car to get benefit of the 3G apps. I got a HTC Desire HD but I saw on the Parrot forums that it is not compatible with the radio because it don't have DUN or PAN bluetooth profiles to share the 3G connection.
I just want to know if there is any way to get those profiles, and if yes, how.
Is there any alternative ROM which can enable it ?
Thank you.
noone have any advice ?

Hi all. I need to use my car stereo (becker trafficpro) bluetooth capability with the xda 2. I can use it fine with my wife's motorola phone but when i link up the xda, the becker says handsfree connection not possible.
I've tried two different rom upgrades but not had any luck.
Is there any way to make an xda2 work with bluetooth handsfree?
If not, does the XDA 2s or i acheive it?
Thanks in advance!
Ajit.
PS am in UK if that makes any difference
almost...
I have the indianapolis pro and I can attach the MDAII with the becker.
To realise this I had to install Bluetooth tools 1.1.
But stlll I can't connect het headset.
Hello all, this is my first post after a long time viewing this great forum.
I was wondering, could the HTC Desire be turned into a wireless audio receiver with A2DP? My stereo bluetooth headset died recently, and I got used to watching movies on the PC while using them as headphones. So I was wondering if it was possible to turn the phone into a receiver in the same manner.
If it's not possible, is it a hardware limitation?
Thanks.

I've tried searching for any input on this subject, but I couldn't find any real info about it.
We know the Desire can transmit stereo over A2DP, and can receive mono when you are talking with a BT device. But does this indicate the ability to receive stereo over A2DP? I hope there is no hardware limitation for that.
If it is possible, I guess an application would act like an A2DP device, so that the BT software on the PC would recognize it as such. I'm really hoping to see such a feature, or at least to know if it's possible.
Hi all
My DHD is running under CyanogenMod 6.1.3, and when i want to listen to the FM radio, it asks me to activate bluetooth first. If i do it, all is right.
So I wonder how the two devices are linked...
If you know why, please answer to this post
Bye
Nico
I've read at other thread, but doesn't give best answer... anybody know's how? pls advise, thank you
p/s I need radio off (saving the juice) bluetooth enable for my Bluetooth GPS to works. Tried before on WM6.5 while using HD2, bluetooth enable while it on airplane mode..
On my DHD it used to work with "Quick Settings" from Market with Android Ver 2.2.1 and Software 1.72.405.3.
Now, as I have Ver 2.2 and Software 1.32.405.3, to be able to root, it's not working anymore.
Also interested in how it works, as I like to have Airplane mode on and listen to music via bluetooth during sports
1st switch on ur bluetooth and make sure its pair with ur headphone or wat's u going to pair , then press *#*#4636#*#* on dialer , then phone information and turn off radio , there you go

Why use a bluetooth GPS?
the phone already has GPS....
It' possible to shortcut it.
Get "Any Cut" from Market
In "Any Cut"
* New shortcut
* Activity
* Test

Hi could someone please help me out please
I have a Supertooth Buddy Handsfree Kit and It connects to my HTC Desire, but it only connects on the Phone Audio profile and NOT the Media Audio profile... My N97 seems to work fine it can stream Media Audio and Phone Audio
Right I contacted HTC see if they could help they said its impossible to do that Nokia phones do it coz they have more Bluetooth profiles than HTC coz they helped create the the technology....
okay to the point I know stuff can be hacked and altered/added (unofficial/illegally whatever you wanna call it) so I came across this How to connect mini bluetooh keyboard to Desire Froyo
That thread up there seems to explain how to add a Bluetooth Keyboard, so am guessing its actually adding in a Profile.
Is it possible that someone can help me out on this? I already have a rooted phone.
