4g mac and certs

Possible to take the 4g mac and grab the certs and possibly use them on a hardware 4g card for something that runs on clearwire? Would be pretty nifty... Maybe get ourselves our own haxorware eventually ;P
EDIT: Just realized wrong section
4:34 am dun yell at me :'(
I doubt anyone has tried this, so the only way to find out is to try it. The device you're going to will have to allow you to change the realm from clearwire-wmx.net to sprintpcs.com, and (possibly) the NAI from [email protected] to [email protected].
I'm not sure how the certs would work out; if Sprint requires them to connect to their realm, there's a good chance that you won't be able to get it working since they seem to be stored on the firmware level.

MAC address change on Xperia Play

Hi guys,
I opened this new thread because I already tried the search tool, even the google search, but nothing came up for the Xperia Play.
My question is, is there a way to change the wi-fi MAC address on the Xperia Play?, the reason I want to do that is because I think somebody at my job blacklisted my device from the wi-fi... some co-workers can get into the wifi network while some of us don't.
All our phones detects the WIFI network, all of us have the password (ok somebody smuggled it for us heheh )
A month ago I was able to do so, and no problem whatsoever, then it just started to get stuck while obtaining the IP address, then, disconnects from the network and get into an infinite loop not being able to sign into the network, while my desk neighbor not so-smart phone (samsung marvel) keep getting connected using the same password, so my first thought was it was only blocking smart-phones by MAC prefixes or android signature ... whatever
But yesterday another co-worker brought his just purchased Samsung Galaxy PRO (which looks like a Blackberry, but running android ), and to my surprise he did got into the wifi network without any issue (using the same password I use and gave him for trial), so I'm now pretty sure they blacklisted by MAC address
Well I manage to convince my buddy to share the network via tethering as a work around, and IT WORKED.
Anyone have an idea if what I'm thinkind is possible (being MAC blacklisted) and also if there's a way to change it on my PLAY runnin Gingerbread 2.3.3 un-rooted with stock SE SW.?
Thanks
I'm not at the pc now. Search my posts for bluetooth address with references to pocketnow tutorial for different device. Maybe you can make it work on xplay. I got one step closer locating one of the address files in one of the posts but no further. Don't know if you can do it without root.

Thank you. If you know how to change bluetooth as well I will be very grateful.

[Q] Where is 4G Mac Address Stored for Hex Editing Purposes?

[LOOKING FOR] App for p2p (file sharing) via GPRS w/o internet...any help?

Hello fellows...
I'm just looking for an app to send files (something like p2p) between TWO android devices using a restricted GPRS service, I mean, no internet access....
I mean, send file to one IP to another one....
Just for send files, text, chat...or something like that....
any idea?
thanks in advance
BR,
chatfan
Can anyone help me out? any help / idea?
First of all, what you want is hard to implement.
Second thing is, why u want to invent the fire new?
I keep it short, it would be too hard to route it throug gprs. (you can read the wiki about mms to get a short overview)
so why not use a internet service?
Simplest thing would be the skype app, it is encrypted so not that unsecure.
If you want more securety, check https://guardianproject.info/apps/gibber/
and for filetransfer i would suggest wuala (groups)
or maybe you just use sftp(ftp over ssh)
cya
Let me explaining you and make it very simple.
Where I live there is not an ACTIVE Internet Service, I mean, no internet service in any of the subscribers in the UNIQUE and ONLY ONE carrier of Cell Phone in the entire country...can you get my point now?
Forget 3G, 4G and LTE, just GPRS and no service of data plan to anyone...
that is why I need this app.
thanks

than let me ask u a simpe question first.
can u send a mms?
and who far is the other device away from you? 10Km, 20km? 100km?
need little background information
ps.: or is wap working?
pps.: and how big would be the size of the data?
pps.: you've seen you IP? or do u assume that u get one?
here
Yes, I can send MMS perfectly
Very away about 50 or 60 Km, same carrier

so i checked it
there are many things wich can work but i dont think they will work.
First, you need to know your and the other persons ip.
First Problem will be they change, gprs is not static
Than you have to hope that you can connect with a build in protokoll.
There will be the second problem, you have to hope that tcp/ip works.
Without a server that handles the communication between you and the otherone its unlikely that this will work.
Thats the reason mms uses wap to get the communication to work.
Without internet access its a mess to handle that all.
[FUN ON]
there it would be simplier to use oldschool stuff like Acoustic Coupler and this
so you can get a terminal working over telephone but it would be damn slow ^^
[FUN OFF]
Mfg Alex
Yes, I am able to know the IP from another person and you are right, the IP is not static, changes in some time for a random IP..any idea how do this?
maybe you can help me out...
please help me!!
