Anyone having a problem getting your facebook to sync? It was working at first but I removed it from the sync menu and re-added it and now all I get is connection errors. Searched on google for it but everybody that is having the problem can't get it back working.
Edit: I've tried reflashing, going back to stock, but I think it has something to do with the app and the facebook server?
Yeah its a problem with HTC they say that they are working on it as we speak but its been a few days now.

Glad I found this thread. I switched back to an espresso rom specifically to get facebook for mytouch back.
Mine connects fine, and mine shows my friend's albums in the gallery, but it shows that I have no friends when I try to link them up in the contacts.
**EDIT: Seems to be working again.

Mine isn't working either...I thought it was just mine...all my facebook stuff works except on friend stream..the twitter works but the facebook force closes

Well I just left the epic 4g today for the epic touch. I just want to know is there a way to pick which contacts from Facebook I want to sync to my phone pretty much like how I did on the first epic. Not really feeling having the phone sync every Facebook contact.

Sns. I hope I'm not doing something wrong on the epic 4g I always would sync with sns and not the app.

To the best of my knowledge it only works with stock app but there notification apps on the market that can help you to fix that
go to the market and get Notification_Toggle_v1.0.96

Anyone else have a problem that if you click on chat notifications from the top bar that it freezes facebook/the phone and then facebook crashes? Is this just my phone, all epic 4g touch's with ics, or an issue with the facebook app?
Your best bet is just not use the Facebook app it is a horribly slow app anyway.
I recommend tweet deck it works like a charm.
But in response to your question I have not seen that uninstall and reinstall.

I cant figure this facebook deal out. I dont mess with F/B... ive rooted and pimped my phone but cant do this. BTW, its a epic 4g touch through sprint... thanx in advanced 4 the help

Umm, can you elaborate on your problem? You're having trouble uploading pictures to facebook?
Download the newest Facebook out of the play store - it now comes with its own camera which makes uploading photos a snap.
