Well I just left the epic 4g today for the epic touch. I just want to know is there a way to pick which contacts from Facebook I want to sync to my phone pretty much like how I did on the first epic. Not really feeling having the phone sync every Facebook contact.

guys, since switched to Galaxy Nexus, I found that my outlook exchange can't sync any calendar events older than 3 weeks!!??? do you guys have any problem with that? it really annoys me. I don't have this problem with GS2 and Desire. (my company uses Exchange server 2010)
Anybody annoyed by this problem? Or just me?

Have you found any solution to this then? I believe the closest solution would be Enhanced Email, but seems it hasn't support calendar sync for ICS yet.

Have tried Moxier mail.
It works, so it must be some bug in the stock synchronization.

Does Moxier integrate exchange calendar into phone's calendar like Enhanced Email or it's like TouchDown which has a separate database and view for your exchange account like TouchDown?
No, unfortunately it doesn't merge it whit the calendar, it's a standalone app.

have tried it, too bad it's another stand alone app, really got used to viewing all calendar details in month view and now I can't live with other apps
Enhanced Email supports ICS since v1.33, feeling good about it, past events are synced perfectly, (still gotta see if it has the wakelock bug which stock app has) but gotta pay 10USD for a feature that Google should've provided.

I did a manual update of my Ting S2 to ICS I can send and receive MMS messages or WIFI and receive over 3G but I can not send a MMS message of the 3g network...Can only send of im sending with Wifi... Text messages work all the time...any ideas how to fix this called Ting and they dont know .....If I use program like GO sms they will send over 3g just having the problem sending with the native messaging app..
Stock messaging app is known for that problem just use sms like you mentioned and don't hassle with it. All I can say is I'm on CM9 and I don't have the issue I used to but not anymore

does she really or does she just see 2 same messaging apps?
if i were you i'd replace the stock one with Go SMS and if you place the messaging icon app on the dock of a launcher just put it there.
Or if she truly wants to update to the latest CM9 and you do have the Sprint Epic 4G one with Keyboard correct because you didn't specify and i saw you said "Ting S2" not sure what that means if you meant as in the Epic Touch??

There's probably something wrong with system/etc/apns-conf.xml or system/app/mms.apk/res/xml/mms-config.xml
Either way, just stick with go for now until they fix it for ya.
Also, this is the galaxy s1 epic with a slide out keyboard's forum. The other one is at the samsung epic 4g touch forum.

I'm posting a guide here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2122697 on how to fix MMS over WIFI with CM10 on Ting, just in case any poor saps like me can't find one googling.
Thanks for the info, after replacing references to mms.sprintpcs.com with Ting's mms.plspictures.com in apns-conf.xml everything works great.
I have had my note 2 flashed to boost since it came out but I have never got my voicemail notifications. I've tried this apk but it's crap, and boost has the galaxy s2 with a very good working voicemail notifier. Is there a phone.apk or something I can take off the s2 to make it work on sgn2?
Anyone?

I have given up on the native voicemail notifications u should too. I been using an app from the play store called Missed It!
I set up the widget for voicemails it works pretty good n its customizable.
There's also this notification app Missed Message Alerts works ok but not as reliable as Missed It!
I hope this helps for now. It's better than nothing.
CyanogenMod 10 JB 4.1.1 has voicemail notifications that has worked for me but with the new CM10.1 JB 4.2.1 it doesn't work yet.

I have but it's just a little annoying, the apps for voice mail notifications suck. The only phone I see that everyone likes so much for boost flashing is that old a** evo 4G with native notifications. The s2 has it, but you would have to patch the phone.app
