[Q] miui lockscreens for i9000 - Galaxy S I9000 Themes and Apps

is there any way i could have THESE MIUI lockscreens on my i9000 without installing miui?

Without using MIUI then no.
But you could buy widget locker and check out the theme thread in the Android forums as some of the themes resemble MIUI lockscreens.

Installed miui ..not for the lockscreens but for fun

Widgetlocker is the most customizable lockscreen replacement app in the market, but MIUI lockscreens are by far the best out there right now and widgetlocker just cant come close in many aspects. It's a shame.

I know it's to late but you can install QQLauncher Pro. It has a similar lockscreen. The launcher is also very good.

[Req] Clean / Stock Gingerbread THEME

I posted this to make a request from our skilled theme makers to build a clean and stock looking ginger bread theme, I would like to request some specifics for the theme, no fancy round icons on the notification pull down, the stock icons or the same icons used by darky's theme is perfect and no theme branding because it really irks me the most to see any theme branding on a theme.
Im also sure a lot of people here would love to have a stock+clean GB theme, they might even donate if its good!
4 lock screen would be one of the things I also want on the theme
+1 with all the wonderful themes currently available, I cant believe there isnt a clean stock gb available.

When do you use all the themes you are asking for?
You could pull the framework folder out of my ROM, because it's JPY based.

Im not sure if your referring that question to be but I've only requested for one theme as far as I can remember.
Anyway that theme is for the captivate and does not have 4 lock screens.

Many Captivate ROMs are i9000 based.
Actually an unchanged i9000 ROM would run on a Captivate. A few bugs that custom kernels fix, but it would run.

His dialer and contacts apk are half themed, is there a way to revert it back to stock ? Can you point out the specific file names needed to be swapped from stock images and his mms theme has the green font which looks bad how can we change it back to regular white font and stock theme?
Ignore this post, sorrry.
up for this request
+1
I'd also like a clean GB theme...
even if mambo04's gingermix v4 theme comes very close to that... it could be a little bit "cleaner" (or lets say "stock looking")

Cheers, yeah i know about widget locker is it compatible with JKay too?
A couple of reviews say this drains your battery so ill give this a miss and look for an alternative, €2.25 for something like this is a bit steep anyway when you have similar apps for free.

try MiLocker it uses MIUI lockscreens on any rom, and one of them should fit the bill for what you want.

best recommendation you're going to get if you don't want to pay.
Unfortunately, even when using MIUI there isn't a "smooth" version of the ICS locker that really mimics the original (which is slightly annoying).
I think WidgetLocker might be quite smooth but as you say, it costs..... just depends how much you value an awesome lock screen
EDIT:
Use MIUI Locker -- and use the lockscreen downloaded here:
http://www.box.com/s/j1imigk1qyrfr21rmk55
let me know if this was what you were looking for
EDIT again (lol):
Search for BlackIce 2.3 on Google, and download that MTZ file, closest you'll get to ICS lockscreen with added customisation you were looking for.
It's late and I'm going to bed otherwise would look out a link for you hehe
Cheers mate ill have a look into this, i don't mind paying for apps ive lots of paid apps on my phone but i just don't think Widgetlocker is worth the money...anyway ill have a look at your recommendation.

Where i found lockscreen theme like yours?
Just disable Jkay lockscreen from Jkay deluxe settings.Set home screen to 'none' and use any other lockscreen.
Try:

Yeah, i noticed that. It was missing in the original MiuiMusicv3.apk as well, though, so i'm not sure there's much i can do about it.

I'm on Gingerbread, but I think the theming divisions are the same for ICS: lockscreen controls should be either in framework or lockscreen, depending on the theme - they're not part of the MIUI music app on GB at least. If you were to theme the big widget, the theme parts are in launcher (on GB). You did a wonderful job on this, quite elegant

It's A LOT easier if you just take any ROM that you like and just put a theme over it.
Like for example I am currently running patwip's Unofficial CM 10.1.3 latest release, and there are themes available like this : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tmobile.theme.HTC.EleganceX
21Mb download and everything, icons, status bar, colors, settings look like an HTC Sense UI
If you prefer using the stock ROM, simply download a good launcher like Go Launcher EX Prime, it supports and has 1000s of themes, several of which have Sense UI.
But this theme style will be restricted only to your app drawer and homescreen, so not as thorough as in CM.
SenseUI can be ported, but only to devices with similar hardware. You can't just port the launcher because it has many dependencies including the kernel. You pretty much have to port a whole sense ROM which would be a pain for any dev to undertake, several have tried and failed on other devices. So it's just easier to theme a launcher.
EDIT (found some more info) : Apparently, the framework for HTC is closed source which means devs can't use it and make it public fearing legal consequences.
Hope that helps answer your questions

I get that, but I like mentioned in my last post. SenseUI launcher cannot be ported because the framework is closed source and has strong dependencies on the hardware of HTC phones, so I was suggesting alternatives.
Besides, CM themeing is not restricted to just icons and looks of the launcher, depending on the theme/version the following things are themed : frameworks-res, systemui, settings, contacts, mms/sms + widget, phone, trebuchet, browser, apollo + widget, keyboard.
So it gives a pretty good feel of a ported launcher without compromising much memory or functionality.
