In ##3282# - view - wimax - extensions - idlesleep is set to 10 right now, is that how long you need to not be using 4G before it goes to sleep or what? I want to make it so it doesn't go to sleep ever.

Do you even know what DDTM mode does. You are changing the radio's settings, that is why you are losing service until a reboot.

If I edit certain things in build.prop will the text I insert show up in my settings or send my phone into crazy mode lol
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Depends what u want to edit.
Edit mod version or product model that will show up under settings edit other stuff will must likely break things
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda premium
Yeah, like TCP said...don't edit stuff if you don't know what it is.....and after you edit, make sure you power off then back on if you want it to stick. A hot reboot won't cut it.

There are several apps out there. Personally I don't use them. Some tips would be to turn off all location services in settings and raise or turn off auto refresh intervals of apps and/ or widgets

Probably. I haven't ran cm10 in awhile but if the updates re-write system files then most likely that mod will be erased each time.

Hello, I need help to set a custom PRL on my optimus G.
Just so this thread isn't flagged, I am not trying to do anything illegal. The sprint tower is down around here from the storm, and I just want to roam so I can send/ receive text messages. I will pay any calling on roaming fee and I am not going to use my 3G / internet on roaming. I am not trying to be forced out of my contract, I just want to be able to use the phone until the tower is back up.
I have had to do this once before on my Galaxy S3, so any help is appreciated.
Thanks again.

Did you ever get this situated? Or is the tower back up? I forget where I saw it but I remember finding hybrid PRL's that made your phone go into roaming (off VZW or something) and it would probably help you.
This might help if you still want, it's pretty freaking old but still, the concept is there
