[Q] Exchange Email Notifications

Hi all,
I was curious to see if there's a fix for this. I have my work email (exchange) on my Epic Touch. When I view the emails on my laptop, it will sync as "read" on my phone, but the notification light & actual notification in the bar will not go away till i clear it, unlike Gmail which does clear the notification once it syncs that I have read it elsewhere.
My previous phone was a Photon and it used to clear the notification for my corporate email.
Is there a way to fix this? It's not a major issue, but it's really annoying for me when I'm working and i constantly have to clear my phone. The only other option i have is to shut off push while working, but I don't want to do that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
FWIW, I am seeing this same annoyance too. Previously on my Touch Pro 2 with XDAndroid on it, it would clear itself as well. No idea why it isn't working on this phone.
I have this same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S3!! ANy fixes?
Funny it worked perfectly on my HTC Desire Z/G2

[Q] HTML Email Formatting

My new galaxy nexus should be arriving soon but I was wondering if the following problem has been fixed. HTML formatted email, in my current ICS running device, do not show up correctly in the native email client(not the gmail app as I have to use exchange for my work). I always have to scroll to the right and down to view the whole thing. Is there an option to fit the entire email to the screen similar to how the ios mail app handles it? Thanks!
anyone?
Nope, not fixed. Stock 4.0.4 Nexus here, unrooted.
Still have to scroll to the right for some emails and yes, very annoying! This goes for gmail and the stock mail app.
The same applies for CM9 you would have to scroll down and right to centre page your mail, then again, I'm glad there's no lag in doing so unless your 3G takes an era to load.
Thanks folks! Any reason for why this is so difficult of an issue for google to fix. i used to have an old froyo device and thought this would have been fixed by now but guess not.

[Q] Did the Yahoo! Mail app break for anyone else?

It auto-updated last night.
I wasn't able to sign-in until I enabled Yahoo in my sync settings. Previously it worked just fine without being synced.
Now it no longer pushes emails to my phone and doesn't display notifications. Even with sync enabled.
The only way to check mail is to enter the app and manually refresh the inbox.
Anyone else having these issues?
I need this email for work, I have already been late responding to a few emails this morning.
I also noticed that it doesn't push the emails to my phone in real time like GMail does. I get the notification after awhile. I am going to try and find the old apk file. Not sure what the issue is.
hey guys i updated mine too and now push notification is not wrking. can you please share it if you found a working one?thanks
Naw. 2.0.3 hasn't restored the notifications for me yet. I'm running JB as well on my SGS3. The only thing I take comfort in is I got rid of the disgusting purple theme Yahoo put into the new mail app version. Took me a week of work, but I got everything changed to blue and/or neutral gray.
It really bothers me without the push nptofication finally found the old version and now its working again

[Q] gmail panel notification stop working.

Hello guys, my gmail notification doesn’t work anymore: the email is received correctly so the sync works, and if I use another notifier (like Go Notification app) it works, but not the gmail notification. It stops working I presume after installed the K9mail app, for fix the annoying issue for long mail cut by gmail ( I wasn’t able to see my Expedia reservation LoL), but now seems that Google finally fix that bug.
I tried several times to clear/stop/sync unsync, but nothing! I uninstalled K9mail, downgrade gmail…nothing: the gmail notification in the panel doesn’t want to show up, all others notification are ok, even the standard samsung mail app.
Of course the gmail settings are ok: sync, notification panel and so on.
I’m pretty sure there is somewhere a conflict, but really no idea where.
Any advice?
I’ve a At&T stock rom JB 4.1.1 Rooted.
Thanks

If you are using the latest Gmail inbox with categories, then notification is enabled by default on the primary folder only. To enable for other folders, open the folder eg updates, click on menu>label settings. Check label notification and notify for every mail.

Doesn't work. I searched around internet and seems there was a bug with K9mail notification and Gmail. They fixed but apparently not completely. Before i installed K9mail everything was ok, now there is something messed up, and my gmail notifications are gone.

Facebook Messenger Notification Issue

On One UI 3.0, I got my notification pop-up style on Detailed.
When I receive a message on whatsapp or some other messaging app, while the phone is unlocked, as you would expect the notification scrolls down from above and I can see the message.
When I receive a message in Facebook messenger, while the phone is unlocked, it never works. I just get the messenger icon in the status bar but no pop-up. Even before the update pop-up for messenger never worked.
Has anyone any idea how to fix this?
On the other hand while using AoD during the day and the phone is locked, I can see the messages as notifications on the lock screen.
I haven't tried the brief pop up option yet but I suspect, still no pop up notification will show up. Not sure what's up.
Hi dude, the same for me !!!

I found the solution so do this:
Settings>Apps>Messenger>Notifications>Tap on Chat and Calls> Enable "Show as pop-up".
That fixed it for me, repeat the same for the previous items on the notifications settings list.
let me know if it got fixed.
Fix for me to, I've also reset my phone (only settings).
Now I've ugly little bublle from messenger.
Go to Notifications settings for Messenger again and disable "show us bubbles" for All

It's easy to fix in the app settings, so don't get upset before you know it. Turn them off and on again, then they will work correctly. I think you might be having this problem because your page is being monitored by someone who has plans for your page for their own purposes. In order for you to be sure your page is safe, you can check https://myhow.org/how-to/track-who-views-your-facebook-profile to see who is causing possible problems in your account and in your app. It helped me a lot to avoid scammers
