I have found a working version of the modded HTC _IME without the arrows. Can anyone possibly get the keyboard with arrows working on the epic touch?

Swiftkey X is a very legit keyboard with great prediction (learns how you speak), and arrow keys are an option.
Also, on the Swype keyboard, if you touch the little Swype button and quickly gesture in the direction of the space bar, you'll pull up a full directional pad plus some advanced backspace keys and other navigation keys.
Hope that helps.
Edit- added pics:
perfect keyboard swipe up on spacebar for arrows.
many settings to play with also.
Hacker keyboard has the arrows and is pretty nice. You can find it in the market.
Many people don't know this, but if you go on the market and get the Gingerbread keyboard, you can swipe up on the spacebar and it reveals arrows.
Sent from my Galaxy S II.
I have been using thumb keyboard from the market. Highly customizable and also has arrows. I was also able to get the comma to show up on the main keyboard which was my pet peeve about many other keyboards.

It is the clock and whether widget that came with the launcher

I tried it, it has potential. My city does not exist for weather. I hate the bottom dock.
Love the Overclocked "nonsense" CM7
Tried it. Didn't care for it that much. I want no iPhone app drawer, and the drawer wasn't very smooth. I liked the change-screen 3D thing though, good overview. Good free alternative to SPB Shell 3D. But I always come back to LPP in the end. Just as SPB this has too little customization option.
Aesthetically...it looks great but its slow....I have minimal visual settings n it still loads and initializes everytime I hit home....it needs to become more responsive like ADW or LauncherPro....ill pass for now....

It was released maybe a couple hours ago. I'm running it now and its pretty cool.

I'm just sharing the app for people that didn't know about it. If you want to share the link to the developers or the source there are many so you can google search it.

Installed on Stock HK3 (odexed) everything if fine, but SMS, attempt to start SMS received error "Not supported"
Looks nice, but I stay with GoLauncherEX
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda premium
Tried to install on milestone with Froyomod2.9.3, but did not work well. even settings were missing only two buttons shown with no description.... seems still under developement.... Even kept on forceclosing and golauncher appears from behind continuously. uninstalled finally after some trial.
GoLauncherEX works fine now...
Can't even let into app drawer to even begin,it just force closes!
Good as it removes notification bar and gives the real estate of whole screen. But menu option should ve been better customizable.
1) - But it also lacks honeycomb style google search widget and
2) menu option(written "Apps" in right upper corner)
Plz include these two things in update, and
3)multitasking - if possible include nokia n9 like application switching (swipe) or webOS's card like multitasking
Plz.

No problems switching between any of the ones that I have loaded.
No matter which ones I try I still keep coming back to Swype though...maybe it's just familiarity, but it works the best for me. I have loaded the latest version though which I think is better than the one that comes stock.
SwiftKey x, after a few days of use its predictions are near dead on. Well worth it.

definitely swiftkey. you can log into facebook/twitter and it saves it all in the dictionary plus awesome gesture features and advanced customization like setting longpress keys to a quicker press ect.. verrrry nice
I like AI type with the windows 8 theme

Swift Key X. I jumped from Swype, to standard, to Smart Keyboard Pro, to SKX to get incremental improvements. I think the standard keyboard is the most accurate/least laggy howevery it's features are very limited and has no language support that I want. Swift Key's predictions are awesome.
Swype works better for me than swiftkey
Thumbs keyboad is my favorite. Seems to be the most versatile. If you dont liked swype.
Try 8pen for a challenge >=)
although I'm jumping between the newest swype beta and the stock android keyboard.

+1 for SwiftKey X predictions. Part of me wishes I was an 8pen wizard, though.
Smart Keyboard pro!!! I have used it on every android device that I've had. I have tried out many different keyboards and always come back to smart keyboard. The feel of it while typing is more confortable than most.... and its quite customizeable. The black and red theme compliments juggs 4.1 red sensation!!

Go to /system/csc/feature.xml and open it with text editor, under launcher you'll see the tilt effect and change it to false, save and reboot.

That's all? I just did that and I'm not sure if I notice a difference. I guess it's just ever so slight of a change that I don't see it.

Re: GS3 home screen transistion??
Are you guys talking about the same transitions that the op is referring to.??
He refers to when you swipe across the screen you see what looks like a ghost page turning into the screen page.
Almost looks like something you see with goLauncher.

Maybe a more thorough change log is available somewhere, but I haven't seen it. So I'm just gonna start a thread for folks to post any goodies they find.
So here's what I've noticed:
Updated boot screen
Notification panel options (including ability to customize settings toggles!)
Smart stay/rotation icon per persists on bar (now changes to white when software is triggered)
S-pen hover over folders on TW home screens gives fan out animation preview
Any more?
Served up by the TMo Note 2
We can now use the volume buttons as a shutter or zoom control for the camera.
There's new options in the camera for hdr mode
Also noticed the swipe screen EFFECT is gone when taking a screen shot

You can now open and close the multi window tray by long pressing the back button, this causes the little blue tab to be hidden so you don't have to see it all the time.
