Hello,
I have a T-Mobile Motorola Defy that is Rooted and has system recovery installed. I am running the stock OS. Details:
Firmware Version 2.1-update1
Baseband Verison: EPU93ST2_U_03.04.02
Kernel Version: 2.6.29 emk037(at symobl)il93lnxdroid12 #1
Build Number: JORDN_U3_6.36.0
Recovery Version: GoAPK Defy Recovery v2.5.1.2
Question is how do I install from here the Pays-ROM Defy v5.1 Froyo with Ginger feeling [3.4.3-11 based!]
Wanna make sure I install this correctly where everything works good. I have already performed a back up of the current stock rom.
Thanks to all for the help!
I have a South African Defy which I just updated to 2.2.2 via the official updater. The ROM is a De-Blured version. I have tried to find any info about the ROM but without any success. The details are as follows:
System:
Moto_Version.34.30.3601.MB525.Retail.en.SEA18
Firmware:
2.2.2
Baseband:
EPU93_U_00.59.02
Kernel:
2.6.32.9-g0671d13
[email protected] #1
APflex:
GAS_ASIA_USAJRDNFRYORTINT_P011
Build:
JEM_3.4.3-36-1
My questions:
Since this is a de-blured version I cannot get facebook sync to work. I want to flash a 2.2.2, or possibly a 2.3.3 version with Blur.
Is there anyway I can backup the official built which is currently running on the phone? And which ROM can I safely flash which will later allow me to go back to the original version? This Defy has a red lense by the way.
Bump ...
Can i update or apply the rom .zip of miui if my Defy is...

According to this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079150
You should flash the 2.2 Nordic rom first. There's a ton of guides on here how to flash sbf's.Then follow the guide from above.
Yes you can. It is suggested to flash Nordic(no difference but a deblur froyo) but you can flash MIUI over any stock Froyo 2.2.

I just updated my Galaxy Nexus to Android Revolution HD™ 1.3.3.
But I found my system info are still old, like:
Android version
4.0.1
Kernel version
3.0.1-ga052f63

Is this normal?
Go to rootzwiki and he has it updated to 2.1.0 which is 4.0.2
Hi guys,
Own the Tegra 3 version of the One X.
Currently running TripNDroid's ROM and pro series Kernel, but now want to run the SlimBean 3.1 ROM and the OC variant of EternityProject Kernel 3.4.0 v0.99b.
Does anyone know if the EternityProject Kernel is compatible with SlimBean
Cheers all :highfive:
