[Q] Backup/Download ROM and flash to blur version - Defy General

I have a South African Defy which I just updated to 2.2.2 via the official updater. The ROM is a De-Blured version. I have tried to find any info about the ROM but without any success. The details are as follows:
System:
Moto_Version.34.30.3601.MB525.Retail.en.SEA18
Firmware:
2.2.2
Baseband:
EPU93_U_00.59.02
Kernel:
2.6.32.9-g0671d13
[email protected] #1
APflex:
GAS_ASIA_USAJRDNFRYORTINT_P011
Build:
JEM_3.4.3-36-1
My questions:
Since this is a de-blured version I cannot get facebook sync to work. I want to flash a 2.2.2, or possibly a 2.3.3 version with Blur.
Is there anyway I can backup the official built which is currently running on the phone? And which ROM can I safely flash which will later allow me to go back to the original version? This Defy has a red lense by the way.

[Q] Stock Rooted Defy, How Do I install ROM?

Hello,
I have a T-Mobile Motorola Defy that is Rooted and has system recovery installed. I am running the stock OS. Details:

Thanks to all for the help!

[Q] Should I upgrade before I try to root?

Hey all. I just got my G2. It is as sweet as I thought it would be.
I have been researching how to root and stuff, I have all that info. I just want to know if I have the latest stock version of the OS from HTC/T-Mobile, and if not, should I upgrade and then try to root? Or would it be easier to try and root the older FW if I have it?
Anyway, can anyone let me know if I have the latest FW? Here is the phone's info:
Android 2.2
Baseband: 12.28b.60.140eU_26.03.02.26_M
Kernel: 2.6.32.17-g9ab3677
[email protected] #1
Build number: 1.2.531.8 CL277427
thanks in advance.
doesn't matter for G2 users.. pre-ota and post-ota are rooted the same way.

[Q] Question on MIUI Rom

Can i update or apply the rom .zip of miui if my Defy is...
Android Version 2.2.2
Baseband Version : EPU93_U_00.59.01
BPflex Version: USAJRDNEMARAB1B8RTIT03A.OR
APflex version: GAS_EMEA_USAJRDNFRYORTIT_P015
Build Number: JOREM_U3_3.4.2_177-3
According to this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079150
You should flash the 2.2 Nordic rom first. There's a ton of guides on here how to flash sbf's.Then follow the guide from above.
Yes you can. It is suggested to flash Nordic(no difference but a deblur froyo) but you can flash MIUI over any stock Froyo 2.2.

You need to reflash stock firmware with flashtool. You also need to relock bootloader (but to gain warranty again you should have a backup of the drm keys, if you haven't done it when unlocking it's not 100% surenthat you will get it).

Back to standard help

Hi all
I'm currently on:
Android Version 5.0.2
ViperOneM8 4.6.1
Kernel Version 3.4.0 ElementalX-m8-4.05-Sense
Baseband Version 1.25.214500021.06G_20.68.4196t.01_f
Build Number 1.40.401.8 CL549783 Release-keys
TWRP Version 2.8.7.0
I'm in the UK and i know that the device is unlocked to all networks so my question is:
(How can i get my device back to complete factory standard with the latest android version available and also unlocked)
PS: Its been so long since I've flashed a custom rom and kernel that unfortunately I've gone to the complete noob cave
If anyone can also point me to the exact files that i require it would be a great help too, And many many thanks in advance.
