[Q] CM7 % battery in status bar? - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got CM 7, the inbuilt % just gives a number next to a line and looks a bit rubbish! I'd like a mod that puts a number inside the battery, like the addons for ARHD do. I've seen some around but for different phones and I'm not sure if they'd work on the DHD or not.
Thanks

You can edit the battery icons with UOT kitchen: http://uot.dakra.lt/

Thanks, I also need it.

[Q] How do I replace battery icon on cyanogen

I have Cyangen on my incredible and I was wondering if I could replace the battery icon with an icon that has the percentage on it. I have battery issues and would like to have granular notification of the battery status.
I had a sense rom that had this built in. Now that i'm running cyanogen I would like it back.
Its also built-in you have to turn it on. It should b under settings, cm settings, you can change lots of ui settings, i.e....clock color, batt %, etc

You can use this site to change the battery icon among other things you can try the UOT Kitchen.
(Sorry, I haven't posted enough to be able to post links, so just Google the UOT Kitchen)
UOT Kitchen Thread is at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=775970
UOT Kitchen is at http://circle.glx.nl/
it's pretty simple todo yourself. find a ROM that has that mod, and take some files from the drawable file add it to yours and then edit the pngs.. lou made a video its on his rom page to help with this specifically.

[Q] Adding battery percent in Status Bar's batt icon on HTC Magic 2.2.1 Vodafone OTA

Hello everybody,
I've been trying to figure out the way to display battery percent in Status Bar's battery icon for weeks, but I can't find the way to it.
I have been using Cyanogenmod ROM on my HTC Magic 32B device until a couple of months, and it was great to see the battery percent on the Status Bar's battery.
Now I'm using the 2.2.1 Vodafone's OTA and I'd like it to show the battery percent as well as Cyanogenmod does.
I don't know exactly what files I have to change nor where are they placed (maybe some XML's in Settins.apk and some others in framework-res.apk, maybe other files...).
Does anybody know exactly how can I do it?
Thank you very much.

[Q] Does UOT Kitchen supports our SGW? + CM % icon

Hi,
When i read the UOT Kitchen manual it says it support almost all android devices.. so i just wanted to make sure: Does UOT Kitchen works for the Galaxy W?
On my SGS i have the CM7 battery % icons (see first screen)
When you look into the kitchen there is a sort a like, but it shows very big numbers.. (2nd screen)
If the kitchens CM7 look-a-like battery % isn't that nice, does somebody know how to get the CM7 battery % and flash it on the SGW?
Is there a way to manually override the icons?

[Q] CM9/10/10.1 skinny battery w/ percent port

Hello to all,
I have always wanted to use this aside from the circle mod which is awesome but I'm a little tired of it.
I've tried just putting the images in the Systemui.apk under res/drawable-xhdpi but does not want to display each percent...
also tried just putting the skinny png's from the cm10.1 systemui.apk and using the option icon with text but it doesnt look right...
at a loss here, i really want the thin batt w/ percentage from the cm roms ported to aokp as an option or if someone could tell me which part of the rom in cm is it that has the perfect precentage along with the pngs. thanks in advnace for all your replies!
Anyone????

[Q] pulling a battery icon from one rom and using on another rom

im sure im overlooking something here, im trying to pull the circle battery icon from liquidsmooth rc9, and use it in jb sourcery 3.1lte. i cannot for the life of me find it in the original SystemUI or framework-res in liquidsmooth. i decompiled them and im digging around and was able to find all the battery icons EXCEPT the circle one. if anyone knows the one im talking about that would be awesome. its the cyan color scheme with a real smooth circular rotation when its charging. when it isnt charging it doesnt have any dashes or dots, just a solid circle and i think there was a battery percentage in the middle.
That sounds like it is the CM circle battery, which is actually done via code and not just simply images.
