Sorry guys,Just wanted to know.Here after,I will not post these kinds of threads.
Actually, Wave III has not even properly come out in India. If you are planning to buy this and want android on it. I suggest dump this phone. You have phones like SGS , i9003, SGSII to suit your needs and your budget! Don't be too eager. It is going to come in Indian in the Q2 of 2012...Still lot of time buddy!

Dude, Go to ANY dealer in Bangalore, you wont find Wave 3. It will take time to adjust to the trend. First, a basic FW upgrade has to come out. Don't expect all the Development to take place as soon as the phone is out! It will take a hell lot of time. You can chill on that for now!

Samsung have said Froyo will be released in late August to Korea, with other markets following shortly after.
?? for what should that post be usefull, Samsung already said that in August a Froyo Update will come, they only confirmed the korean version right now, but that doesn't mean that it won't come for other countries to, in the same time.

It's already been announced, so this thread is pointless.

True, but that doesn't mean they will actually release it here. While I am quietly confident we will get it (by hook or by crook) the fact it has 512MB doesn't mean we are guaranteed to get it.

Froyo has been allready confirmed by Samsung to be released in August for the korean market, so I am very confident that the international version of the SGS will get it shortly after.
A pedition for samsung to commit to post-froyo releases on the other hand could be more usefull.

Yes, lets start a petition for 3.0/Gingerbread instead.
2.2 is definitely coming. Samsung doesn't have a choice. They're selling too many of these phones in too many markets not to follow through with their promise this time around. With 300,000 phones sold in Korea, imagine the PR disaster they'd have on their hands.
More than a Froyo release, I'd rather they release the video drivers so we can get custom roms. We should make a petition for that too!
Better to wait 14 days more and have good stable rom than .having installed it full of bugs .Good work takes time .

It is pointless..we are getting new Froyo test firmware every day so far...which means they are working on it...even if everyone in the world pressures them to release it...they can't change the law of physics and program faster then possible...it needs to be thoroughly debugged and make sure no major issues remain.

I think a new firmware is surely coming up , but all the spammers are obviously been created by one person and just keep replying "bad source" etc.
really strange naming they use now, anyway i don't care about it, keep them coming already 2 days without a flash i am getting tired

I think you need to read that again. The firmware identification says i9000, and then he says he ALSO has some i8000 roms. That is, in addition to JP2.

There are several fixes for it now. I get awesome gps performance and stability right now.
tried to edit my post but it didnt work so here it goes:
and yes ofc its important, if i am going to buy a phone for 500-600€ its very important that GPS works perfect and there is no lagg and such stuff..so think again before posting stuff like that, cuz in the end ur the fool

I am a new user for Android, my previous phone was an Iphone 3GS...
According to various Bada blogs bada 1.2 will be officially available through Kies in the next couple of days to a week, in certian areas it is already available. Expect unlocked Wave I devices to get it first.
On a side note: Samsung should be ashamed of themselves in the handling of this update as it brings needed fixes for bugs that are largely unacceptable on such a high end phone.
Reports are coming in that its available in various European countries. If you have updated to 1.2 via a leaked firmware build then you will need to get a copy of the official build of 1.2 and flash it that way (personally still waiting on that my self)
In Poland, bada 1.2 is now official via Kies
I have 1.2 too in the Netherlands
In france it is available too.
Same version that propose samfirmware.

That looks dubious... I mean... who would use Azur and Asmar in that, they look to be um.... in a position that could imply several things...

Forgive my cyncism, but... that does not mean bada 2, that's the point I was making... be careful.... that was like on badaforums, when someone leaked a picture of a Wave with a android screen on it, someone has too much time to photoshop it and the whole forum went up in arms over it... that was in the Summer last year (2010)... so be careful and not to join the bandwagon....
Samsung has a lot of sorting out to do in respect of the "Open Letter to Samsung" which I wrote about last year.... So I take all this with a pinch of salt.... and not get too excited...

I have seen the overclocking of WAVEDROID to 1.6 GHz (Great work mate Great WORK) and was thinking whether developers can port GingerBread on WAve !!! I use GS II and wwould like to seen that in my Wave too !!!

Well ! I bought the wave because of its specs ! LoL !! I bought it on the second day of its release in Germany ....(actually i should have bought the G S I but due to my urgency I choose Wave) !

Oleg said that he doesn't want money, he simply likes messing with his wife's phone. Also we really don't have any news from him, so who knows if he's still working on the port. Just sucks that this is a one man show. Bada sucks balls, but the phone is awesome and cheap.
