Evo On Boost

Is there any I can use evo with boost mobile. I know a lot of people question this, but please. Prepaid is the only way I can have a phone. Thanks

Have you tried going into a boost mobile store (authorized retailer only, not corporate) and asking them to activate the phone on their network? You will NOT be able to purchase one from a sprint store unactivated and bring it to boost. You will not have 4G service, if you do a lot of people are going to try this and it will get fixed, so dont tell anyone if you do (except me).
A boost authorized retailer would love to do this for you because then he can pocket the normal subsidy on the phone which would be sold to you. Call a few authorized retailers and ask them to do this they should know how and be very willing.

boost is owned by sprint they would not allow evo on boost network

The easiest way to get a sprint phone working on BOOST isn't by calling them its getting a BOOST CDMA phone and activating an account or switching your Iden account to the new CDMA phone. Once you have that done you need to have the MSL code for your SPRINT phone and just reprogram it using your MDN which is your BOOST cell# and the MSID thats given to you by BOOST when you activate your phone. Once thats done the phone resets itself and your done, I did this myself and have had my Touch Pro2 working great since Feb. As far as the EVO i want to get it too so it should be the same with the exception of 4G which isnt even available in certain areas like here in NYC yet anyway but everything would be workiing norally in 3G and being that SPRINT owns BOOST i sure they'll be getting 4G really soon. Motorola already has an Iden android phone for BOOST so newer phones and way better service should be comming along too. I had my phone with SPRINT and now that im using BOOST i have the same service with a way better plan and for much less. So if i have to pay BOOST an extra $10 when they get 4G then so be it and i'll have a better plan with the same service instead of paying SPRINT at least $100/month with taxes&fees. Only disadvantage BOOST has is they dont offer a equipment protection plan other than that its much more economical

The only way to do it I know of is to change the MEID to one Boost would except.

9 or 10 months ago when they first came out. Now everyone has one.

lol a year later this one gets bumped up huh... So since it's been brought back let's ask this, anyone figured this out yet for the evo..?? That link is for metro not boost..

Flashed EVO on Boost
my Evo is flashed to boost but my phone keeps getting a Data call error 67 when i try to update my phones data profile and PRL my phone also send calls striaght to voice mail when my mobile data connection is enabled Does anyone know how to fix this?

I imagine it won't grab the update/prl since it wants to get it from Sprint, but you are running Boost. When you are using data, all calls will go to Voice Mail, since CDMA doesn't currently support voice/data simutaneously. You can try to uncheck DDTM mode, this will interrupt data and push the phone call through. It will disconnect your data connection and resume it after terminating the call, however if you were downloading or doing something else, it won't automatically resume the download.
Menu---> Settings---> Call---> DDT Mode (uncheck box).

My phone doesn't have full data connection my phone wont stay on the internet when i receive a call and when my wifi is on my 3g connection gets disabled how do i fix this? does anyone know how to fully flash the EVO to run off sprint 3g too?

You are complaining about the phone doing EXACTLY WHAT IT'S SUPPOSED TO DO?
You did do at least SOME research before buying this particular phone, correct?
And what do you mean "flash the EVO to run off sprint 3G?"
That's what it does stock!

Actually thats not what the phones suppose to do cause i know there's a number of people that actually got their EVO's to act like a smart phone on boost and not disconnect their data when calling. Did you do your research? i was actually hoping that someone who knew how to fix the problem would respond rather than someone with just a mere comment that says nothing.

Not possible.
There exists no CDMA service in North America that allows simultaneous DATA and voice.
In theory if you had a good 3g connection and was doing VOIP it could look like you were doing both

yes he can, many have the evo on boost. do a google search my man, you will find what you require to make it happen.

Epic on boot?

So boost mobile runs on sprints networks... what would it take to get the epic (or any other sprint phone) to run on boot mobile. I know we can get it to work with metro so I would think we could get it to work on boost.

so i have gathered, you must root ur phone first, then get cdma workshop, and i recomend a data capable phone thats not android, cuz they charge 50 a month for normal phones and 55 for droid and 60 for blackbery, so get like an incogneto. now your gonna haft to find a how to guid to clone, which from what i have gathered is illegal even if you own both phones, which i think is stupid. I understand why it is against the law though since you can cause major problems for others by cloning if your malicous in nature. that being said i take no responsability if you clone your phone. but if you copy the esn from the incogneto to the epic, then go on boost you should be able to activate it and the epic will work cuz the tower will think its your incogneto. just make sure u permenitly deactivate and power down your incogneto. i recoment taking out the battery and putting it in your underwear drawr.
the more legetimat way is to keep calling boost, if u get someone with a heavy indian accent just hang up and call back till u get a nice cool american. there easyer to deal with since were the lazy ones right, ok ok ill just put in esn from ur epic and i dont care what it says just get it activated so i can get off this call n go back to my book. i know how call centers work. so anyways. there you go. thats how.
as for metro pcs i dont have any knowledge of that carrier
and yes i know i cant spell

Not everything. The first step, is to find a video on youtube with instructions because the xda guide has to leave out something important.
But a google search epic 4g boost guide should get the instructions and they work. Then follow the xda guide if 3g doesn't work and to get picture/video messages.

Airave and Boost Mobile issue

I live in a apt building and have a Boost mobile phone. I know the Sprint Airave does not work with Boost service but I do believe that someone in my building has one of these. When I am inside my phone does not work and when I leave my building it does. Any advice other that dropping boost which I just signed up for?

Then you posted in the wrong forum. You need to be here. This is the Epic 4g NONE touch with a keyboard. Besides that ask Boost if they have a Airrave type device.

Hi Experts,
I'm planning to buy a Sprint Samsung Galaxy S 3 Flash it to Boost Mobile.
But I need a 3G Donor Phone for that and then I started to make a list of all the 3G donor phones available out there.
Can You please let me know out of Your experience which one is the best and the easiest donor phone for flashing Samsung Galaxy S3 Sprint to Boost Mobile.
Here is a list of the 3G capable phones from Boost. I do not know which one of these phones are capable enough.

incognito works really well, i have flashed 3 gs3's with incognitos.. i have also used a 1xphone (samsung seek) to flash an evo
the gs3 on boost worked great and you can even surf and talk at the same time!!

Anyone know how to get the Samsung factor in diag mode?

how does surf and talk at the same time work? can I enable this on my sprint s3 as well ? (I have 2 S3 boost and sprint)
oh no crap just tried it and data DOES work on boost s3 while talking. Nice.

It's usually ##8778# for Samsung phones and ##DIAG# for HTC. If you're running a non-Touchwiz rom, it would be *#*#8778#*#* (or DIAG instead of 8778)

Incognitos are the ones that I use. I've heard the Prevail is good as well but more pricey. I haven't heard of being able to with the Innuendo yet though.

You can talk and surf at the same time only on LTE (4g). If you are on 3g, you can only do one at a time.

That is incorrect. The S3 is capable of talking and surfing on the Internet on 3g. It is an EVDO capable device and most likely the last of its kind.

I found a youtube video where someone used a Sanyo Juno boost phone for a doner.

[Q] Flash a SPH-L710 to boost mobile

I'm sorry if i broken any rules i'm new this, i just receive a s3 i order from ebay a few days ago i wanted to flash the sprint L710 to boost mobile using a samsung prevail as a donor phone i went through hours of reading comments on xda and many others forum and i also watch like 40 vids on youtube but 98% of them was showing s3's that was flash to boost with no description how it was done or what kind of s3 it was. I'm starting to lose hope about flashing this phone im to the point of paying someone to flash it for me but i dont know who to ask or where to go to.
P.S will the cmda L710 be capable boost mobile gsm network once its flashed
