On the official website of the developers bay, developer.bada.com, appeared two very interesting videos that explain to developers how to use the new features offered by 2.0 bay on their applications.

Does anyone know where to download a locking app like this?

Hi guys,
whilst browsing youtube, i found this cool unlock app:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=InCdRJwZDyg&feature=related
its made by some TAT mobile UI people and looks really cool, like most of the other things they have made.
is there any way to download this or is there a similar app already available? Is there a way to download any of these apps shown? because they all look pretty sick
thanks
well according to their blog site these are all concept prototypes.nothing has ever been released from them.cant find anything else about all their apps on youtube

Click to collapse
Thats what i read, but seeing as they appeared to have a fully working version of it, why did they not choose to release it? i know i'd pay...
so there's no chance of getting any of this stuff then?
IT'S FAKE!!! prerecorded videos.
look here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_T8xGp6xLsY&feature=related
on screen battery is full and on the phone it's not
but it's a good idea to make traffic to their website
wow nice things!!prototype ok bud possible in the future???
do you have seen de 3D Eyetracking UI???just amazing if it was possible
LOOK @ THIS:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SImOIMcMlk
about the 3d eye tracking stuff, surely it simply takes a 3d interface which uses any feedback from the gsensor to rotate the view, much like the diamond hologram app.
im not so sure its a fake though. the way the camera blows out when it switches on seems pretty realistic to me and then again, these are only prototypes/concepts. Perhaps they decided to film the videos actually running on phones to stop people thinking that. if you look at an older video by them, you can see its being run on an emulator which could be more easily faked.
Some of the lock apps look fairly genuine, just iphone like apps. The others perhaps not.
The Astonishing Tribe (TAT) is a Swedish company founded in February 2002 by Mikael Persson (now Tellhed), Ludvig Linge, Paul Blomdahl, Karl-Anders Johansson, Per Gustafsson, and Hampus Jakobsson. TAT started out as a hobby project and for the first year the company worked with TV commercials, post production for film (eg. Mannen som Log), animation (eg. Swedish National Program Värsta Språket), consultancy services within image compression for embedded systems, and interactive art.
During the second year the founders started to employ people and focused the company on mobile user interfaces, especially licensing technology for rendering and structuring of the user interface. As of August 2008 over 160 employees work for TAT at the offices in Sweden, South Korea and the United States. TAT works with some of the biggest mobile brands (Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Orange, Motorola being some of the more known official customers).
Some of the founding members have a history from the demo group Yodel. This group made a contribution to The Party 1996 called The Astonishing Tribe.

It seems plausible at first glance.

Does the diamond have multi touch? last time i checked it didnt!
^ doesnt even look like his thumb touches the screen to me. the gesture could just for effect.
Wthe companies apparent background in animation and interactive art it's possible they are just videos. However there can't be much money in purely producing concept videos, the company surely must have more substance. The lock apps seem possible at least.
i suppose if the touch hd detects the centre point as the cursor when doing multi touch, it could be possiblew but how would it know which way it was rotating??

SkyFire Gone For Good Here What they Had To Say

Skyfire 2.0 is the world’s first hybrid browser, using the best of the device’s native browser, and adding a cloud “booster engine” for extra features like video and social networking. It is our flagship go-forward product, as we’ve reported publicly for months, since our Android launch.
With that in mind, we are announcing that we will complete the phase out of our legacy v1.0 product on Windows Mobile and Symbian on December 31st, 2010 for remaining countries. This two-year old product used a “proxy browser” approach which is no longer our vision. It was a revolutionary product when introduced and offered for free, but the fast-moving mobile market has changed significantly since 2007, and as a small tech start-up, we need to keep innovating forward.
Our new 2.0 product is built for the next generation of smartphones and tablets with full support for html5, offline browsing, javascript, WebKit, and full-screen video. The 2.0 architecture is exponentially more data efficient as well, and better fits the technology roadmaps of our B2B customers (wireless carriers and handset makers).
This was a very difficult decision for us. We put our hearts and souls into the 1.0 product and greatly value the many Skyfire fans who used the product and provided us with invaluable feedback during this intensive research & development phase of our company. We experimented with ways to charge for the product (in certain international test markets) so that existing Windows Mobile and Symbian users could continue to use the service, but the payment mechanisms were very cumbersome and the piracy rates were so high on those OS platforms that we could not make it work. More importantly, we faced a decision point: If we were to begin charging money for a product, we had to commit to multiple years of support and enhancement of the product. It would not be the ethical thing to do to start down that path, given that we would not expect enough revenue to make that sustainable on the legacy 1.0 product, and we can no longer subsidize it. The right thing we decided was to focus on 2.0 and beyond.
We do expect to bring Skyfire 2.0 to additional platforms, and have begun discussions with some carriers and OEMs to decide which will be our next OS. Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 7 and Nokia’s MeeGo platform are both shaping up as platforms with a lot of potential and the recent launch of the new Blackberry OS 6 with a WebKit browser core makes for interesting potential for a future release of Skyfire 2.0. We value feedback from our users, so please let us know what platform you would like to see Skyfire on next and just as importantly let your wireless carrier know that you want Skyfire!
Thanks to all of our fans, new and old, for their support. We’re a small 35-person development shop, so all the enthusiasm for Skyfire has been gratifying for all of the engineers here in Mountain View.
Jeff Glueck, CEO
[EDIT]
I was entering rant mode but it's just not worth it... Still what was the point of creating yet another topic on this subject (and again in Soft Dev...)?
Yes I know but I didnt see that other thread that the other person had made. So I made this one instead.
Well, it was crap in the end anyway.
Nothing of value was lost.
