I keep wondering if this is a material change that would constitute a move to a month to month contract (aka, wiping out ETF).

I dont know but it looks like I might have to switch carriers when this comes to an end

No because that was not a part of your contract it was a gift from them... sorry....

Because all the other carriers have 1 year upgrades. They don't, and not a reason to leave unless you are not satisfied with their service.
Swyped from my Samsung Galaxy SII EPIC 4g Touch on XDA Premium!

We'll see how everything goes with their service Im happy with the ET4G but Ive got 6 lines on my plan its hard to find a carrier that will give you 5 unlimited lines plus a basic line for $280 after all of the discounts I get with sprint.

I got the same letter for my girlfriends line. They actually pushed her upgrade up. Was supposed to be Dec 2012, but now its December of this year. It stated that in the letter we received.

I can tell you AT&T didn't have 1 year upgrades.
Only 2 year contracts.

[Q]Sprint ‘could have US covered with LTE by 2013′ if they decided to

http://www.talkandroid.com/31829-sprint-could-have-us-covered-with-lte-by-2013-if-they-decided-to/
stuff like this make me nervous and angry. whats gonna happen to their wimax customers if they do happen to go LTE? I havent seen wimax in my area yet and at this rate...very disheartened
I doubt a software update would make our evo's compatible but i dont know for certain...
one thing i know is that im not under contract and will be switching to verizon as soon as i can get to a store...because i doubt ill see wimax before sprint gives up on it. i have a feeling a lot of customers are going to be screwed over by sprint in the near future...more screwing than what is currently taking place.

I don't see the problem. They do LTE and release phones for LTE. Any current wimax customer will continue to use the wimax towers with their legacy device....

This is not for our devices its for global, carrier unlocked versions. The First gen galaxy S2 with the hardware home button. And wont help us much if any at all.

hopefully ours get updated before the GSIII announcement, or else Tmobile might delay the update so more people will buy GSIII (although I doubt they need much convincing). they're already doing this with the HTC phones

Hopefully this becomes the Pokemon killer for Nintendo. They're too scared to do anything in mobile.

Do you even know how business works? Why would they cannibalize their own sales by going into mobile?

Maybe because their hardware is no longer impressive? It happened to SEGA, it can happen to Nintendo.
If this game is free I might consider playing it, but the only way I would buy it, is if they add a breeding aspect to the monsters. Not to mention way more monsters... pokemon had 150 or something at first and it only lasted a few months for a lil kid, unless they just make it ridiculous to catch monsters, 100 will only take a week or two.
Not a big fan of monster capture games because i don't like the 1on1 battles. It gets old and repetitive. Why not use 3 monsters at a time vs hordes?
I do however like kick starter. Unfortunately Android isn't even a platform they are developing on ATM so that means we'd get a unpolished port.

Does Evo 4G worth $250 ? One Seller Sold 2 ma friend !

Hey, Actually I need a lil Suggestion on what Market is offering. I meant My friend jus bought a used EVO for $250, Does HTC EVO 4G still worth that much ? thanx
It depends on how badly a person wants this phone. I see them on craigslist going for $150.00
Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2
If I were to sell mine, I'd sell it for $50 - that includes an 8gb SD card, two extra batteries and a battery charger. Mine is a bit dinged up around the edges though. And I might be lucky to get that much, which is why I'll probably end up keeping it on hand. I wouldn't buy one for $250, nor would I advise anyone else to. It's a good phone, but it's not top of the line anymore and I'm sure you could get one cheaper.
Yeah theyre like a 100 all day long in almost mint condition.

Better off getting a new contract with sprint, grabbing the evo LTE for $150 at most $200
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA
$250 for an OG Evo you could buy the epic touch 4g for that on Craigslist/eBay
We are legion, for we are many.
Depends on your location really.
(the one with everything is around 280$ which this guy smokes big crack rocks lol)

Mine is dinged up too but runs without a hitch. Sprint's buyback offer is $65.

... and? I mean, honestly... that's what you base your opinion of a company on? Not their horrible customer service or their amazingly increase in dropped calls? LoL
I know we all want the latest and greatest but I sometimes question why everyone loves the official releases of these updates/patches... this exploit was sealed up by the amazing devs on this site many moons ago yet everyone gets a half-stack when an official release comes out.
well at least its not like when I was with verizon. Love the blazing fast 4g speed but updates what are they. always months behind the other carriers updates if you got it at all. then the locked bootloaders.
New to the cell phone world hm? It's pretty rare for an update to hit an entire country at the same second.
Carrier updates? Lmao people round these parts update there own s hit

Thread Closed and OP if you are unhappy with your Carrier you can always switch....but bottom-line XDA is not here for Members to rant on about their Carriers, Thank You.
