Hi.
There is a new software coming for us.
Samsung PhoneShare
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMy0QblJ-pY.
PC/Phone link. Like blackberry Phone-Tablet link.
Pc download (software tab):
http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/NP900X3A-A03US
direct link
Phone software:
http://www.samsungapps.com/topApps/topAppsDetail.as?productId=G00001380532&listYN=Y
Please note, you should select UK App Store.
Apparently, I can't download it with my phone.
Maybe, one of you could do that and share with the community
Any opinions?
I'd already found this in Samsung Apps on my phone but the PC Software is model specific. I can't find the PhoneShare software for my Samsung NC20 and the link provided just stalls at the splash screen on both my netbook and PC.
Can you share the *.apk file with us?
If I knew how to extract it I would.

Sally: Hi, thank you for contacting Samsung Technical Support. How may I help you today?
Sally: Not to rush you,are we still connected on the chat?
Visitor: I own a Samsung Galaxy Epic from Sprint and a Samsung Seris 9 Laptop. The laptop comes with software called phoneshare.exe which allows you to connect and share all aspects of the phone. I cannot find the app for the mobile phone. Can you help?

Sally: I understand that you are unable to find all share application on the device. Am I correct?

Sally: I am sorry, there is no such application on the device.
Visitor: What is the software on the samsung series 9 supposed to work with then? Its says it works with Galaxy S.
Visitor: What is the video making reference to? It is a samsund video.
Sally: However, with help of ALLSHARE application on the device, you connect to PC with the help of WI-FI.
Visitor: not the same - what is phoneshare? why is it marketed? how can I use it?
Sally: I understand your concern.
Sally: Phone share application might be available in Android market.
Sally: If it is available in Android market, you can download and use the application to view the files.
Visitor: no its not. It is a Samsung product. Where is it? How can Samsung market something that does not exist?

Visitor: Based on this false advertising, will Samsung agree to buy back my Samsung Series 9 and Samsung Galaxy S?
Sally: However, I will forward you feedback to our concern department.
Does anybody have apk file? if so please share it with us
The PhoneShare PC app should work if you use the Inst.exe to install it; I made that mistake too by using SetupW.exe. Using the wrong exe just shows the PhoneShare splash screen.
I was able to install version the PhoneShare v1.0.4.5 on a Win7 x64 machine. I also have a Win7 Slate PC (XE700T1A-A05US) that this app is supported on, but I do not have a Galaxy S I9000 to pull the APK from.
I know Samsung Support says it's only supported on the Galaxy S(GT-I9000) but I'm curious to know if it runs on the Galaxy Nexus.
Coudn't anyone with this device run an App Manager with a Backup Feature (eg Astro, EStrong File Explorer, File Explorer) and just backup the APK to their device & then upload somewhere for us to pull it from?
If anyone with the phone has a chance & wouldn't mind to up the apk, I don't think testing it would hurt.
Thanks
`N
hi guys, ported the apk:

After switching on my wifi at the PC the software recognized my phone but the APK crashes every time the software tries to connect.. too bad
Downloaded zip, renamed to apk, installed via file manager.
But the pairing failed to work.
QR generated, wifi established, but thats all.

ahah what was that all about? Were you the "visitor"? that Sally apart from stalling, not knowing wtf you were talking about and looking a tad bit retarded ended up not helping at all. I'm surprised how she didn't suggest kies among all that.
Please tell us later if you managed to have them buying your devices back, that'd be hillarous.
Not entirely sure what this phoneshare does, but luckly there're already out there very good programs that surely do the same. Android Sync Manager is quite good for sync'ing purposes and if it's just file sharing i'll either use ES File explorer (and look my pc up) or a web server file explorer (wifi file transfer, there're plenty)

Thanks for getting in touch with us, and thanks for the suggestion. We'd love to get Hulu Plus working on as many devices as possible, so while there's no plan at the moment, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop up on the Galaxy Nexus some point. A lot of folks ask about adding it to Hulu Plus, so we're certainly aware of the demand.
Before we can officially support it, we need to obtain a specific set of streaming rights, and we also need agreements in place with both our content partners and the device manufacturer itself – and these steps can take time. If or when support is announced, you'll see it listed.
I hope this helps. If there's anything else I can address, please let me know.
Thanks,
Olivia

I'm running the Verizon Nexus, completely stock.
I bought Tivizen WIFI for Samsung device hoping that I'll have no problem using it with my SIII, as I've seen the video on youtube with exact hardware combination working. However it appears that I cannot download the app (normal Tivizen app doesn't recognize the device - I need "Tivizen wifi for Samsung phone" ) from my country. How is store establishing the country (phone location, gmail account, phone operator, ip address). Would it help if someone installs it elsewhere and extracts apk. Is it difficult? What can I do on my side- reinstall?. Seems foolish to abandon the device for software related restrictions. Please help.

Sent from my SGH-T999 using xda premium
Is app available in your country? Can apk be extracted once downloaded?. i can emulate country via vyprvpn and register new google account from there but I am wondering is it some phone setting that is tripping the store.
Won't let me install it to my phone. Does not show up on the market at all (on phone) and when found on the online market, it says I have no compatible devices.

Thanks dude for you effort.
Anyone from germany?
Funny I can use PC Application available from their site http://samsung.tivizen.com/ without any restrictions and yet they forbid the use of phone app. I am not trying to use on non compatible device or something illegal - http://samsung.tivizen.com/Kompatible-Geraete.
Anyone from germany with firefox and apk downloader (does not work for me) could you please get this. Would be very thankful.

6. Wo kann ich die IMEI Nummer und Serien Nummer der Samsunggeräte finden, um Tivizen zum Aktionspreis zu erwerben?
Unter der Batterie von Samsung Galaxy Produkten
Does it have to do with this question from the FAQ. To me it looks more like you needed to provide them with you phone's imei to be able to buy the device
Once they've delivered the Tivizen it has no importance (number cannot be used again).
It would mean that no one would be able to download the app unless they come from the verified phone regardless from Germany or not, or every such downloaded APK is related to the phone and checks for specific tivizen SSID?

It works!!! A guy at android-hilfe was so nice to post the apk. Thanks for contribution anyway.
Anyone know to get the samsung market to work with note 2?
I'm surprised that it was not pre-loaded with the photo editor app which is the only app that is designed for note 2.
I went to samsung market website for the apk but it was not listed as supported device, yet I've seen in few videos where it showed the note having it installed.
Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Samsung Apps is in the Play Store.
Photo editor
Hey, thanks. I was able to finally install it.
Problem now is that the photo editor from samsung says that it is not compatible with my device. What a bummer!
This guy in the video has it installed. Am i missing something here?
Edit: cant post external link... Sad panda here..
It works if you side load it. The apk is floating around somewhere....

So I've been asking this question on almost all the new phones' forums recently because it's never mentioned in any of the spec websites or the manufacturers website. None of the YouTube tech channels check it either except for one which he also forgets to do for some of the phones.
The question is.... Is this phone Widevine L1 certified?
Anybody who already bought the phone can check through downloading an app via playstore. App name is 'drm info'.
Screenshot would be appreciated for anybody who are looking for this particular feature in the next phone they're gonna buy. Thanks in advance guys.

Hi, so I am handcuffed by my work to use an iphone. I couldn't stand the apple watch, so finally upgraded to to the Galaxy watch. I love this watch. Disappointed at the limited apps available, which i understand fully. I am curious if there is a way to sideload these apps? Particularly the myroundpro watch app.
Really appreciate any feedback.

I'm not sure sideloading is the answer. I know that's the question that was asked but the application he mentioned is on the galaxy wearable store and has an iOS companion app on the iOS app store. That's why I asked my questions above. What exactly is he trying to resolve by sideloading? It doesn't make sense.
I didn't go in depth but once you connect you have to root then a little easier tinzen has dev exe to Port apps on dev website I've been trying to do with Spotify lite made for gear not Samsung 2nd B's market we get non-samsung owners
