Guys,
I am looking for a regular hard plastic holster with a rotating belt clip and cant seem to find one for the life of me. I have found a couple that require you to use a hard case and THEN put it in the holster, however I am not interested in that.
Anyone know of a standalone hard holster w/ rotating clip for the Epic 4g Touch? Thx.

I would be interested in the holster only too.

Call me crazy, but doesn't that say Hard Shell Case with Holster? The images kinda look like they show a case too. I think the OP is just looking for a holster ONLY.

I kept the one that I had from my eVo 4G for the extended battery from Seidio. I have a hard case from Sprint on the phone (the one that looks like it's carbon fiber) and it fits decently. It's been on 20 mile bicycle rides with me hanging off the brake cables.
The holster I had for my Evo (with a Seido case on it) works on my Epic Touch without a case!
Any updates on this? Has anyone found a simple holster for phones without a case?
Thanks!
Chad

Anyone else here as old school as i am...a standard molded simple holster with belt clip is good enough?
i dont understand why there are 9 trillion cases out there, and why anyone thinks these phone condoms are any good. i for one, most of the time dont even use my holster and just throw it in my pocket.
maybe im just ranting, or maybe i make sense?

I bought a holster for my Phone. used it about a week and promptly bought a case for it. It's really odd on the hip.
Last time I had a holster it was for an old tdma nokia. I kept smacking into door frames when walking through. That would be a disaster for this phone. Just me though.
You could probably get a generic clip and stick it on the phone if you really wanted to.

Same, I use the leather holster, its so convenient...just through it in there and get back to work
I used to just throw my phones in my pocket, but that sucks... because then its like throw in the back pocket but my wallet is in my one so that leaves the other one, but then when I want to sit down I have to move it, and then I usually have keys in one of my front pockets...and so I can't throw them in that one because get all scratched up...etc..etc.. just has a lot of organizing my pockets..instead of just having a holster. Also notice that with my iphone...got a lot of lint in the speaker wholes etc... anyways HOLSTER FTW!
get the seido case combo, that's what I just got, waiting it to come in the mail.
Just got my holster 2 days ago and I'm loving it!! T-mobile wanted 19.99, but I found it online for a grand total of 6.47 after shipping and handling!!
I just picked this up at my local bestbuy. It is the same thing as the Seidio Innocase, just cheaper. I had one of these for my Droid X and loved it. On my X, I also ordered the Seidio Rugged add-on case, and the two worked perfectly together. I think that I am going to do the same thing again. Here is the link http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Platinu...uId=1974606&st=htc thunderbolt case&cp=1&lp=1
One more thing, when I bought the phone I picked up the Double cover from VZW, and it fits perfectly into the holster that I got with the platinum case....
I have the platinum case as well, trying to figure out how to mod it to fit my extended battery.

Yes, the one from BB is case and holder. The 29.99 for the Innocase is the case only.
This is identical to the Seido case and holster combo except it is alot cheaper. The case and holster is made by Seido and just branded for Best Buy. Just picked it up.
+1 Just picked this up @ Best Buy for 34.99
It is that nice black matte rubberized coating I love... Batman would approve.
So is this a durable case? Never used those cases before. Might consider this one.
The problem with that is you have to dremel through the lock tab that holds the 2 pieces together.

thanks for the info on this case going to get one now
I have this case. Its good, but the headphone jack opening could be a little larger.
Thanks to the OP for finding this. Don't know why Seidio doesn't put their name on it, but it's a great case. Nice finish, and a holster if that's your thing. Fantastic deal for 35 bucks plus tax.
Yeah there are a few rebrandings of that case. I also got it from BB. Works like a charm, 2 days after getting the case I was nice and drunk, dropped my phone from about 6 feet onto concrete. It landed directly on the corner and other than a little nick on the case the phone is fine.
I had to google how to get the fing thing off without breaking it though...Easy enough once I did.

How do you get it off? (Link etc.) That little manual that comes with is as useless as tits on a bull, can't read a damned thing. It's like the size of a postage stamp.
I got mine to replace my high gloss silicon case. I love it! Feels nice and durable, and the holster is nice.
To get it off what I do is:
1. Flip the phone over
2. squeeze the sides of the top part of the case, so that it bends in the middle (it's very slight but it gives just enough space to undo the lock)
3. Hold the bottom part of the case and push the seido branding sign down to unlock it and pull the top off.
It's definitely a little frustrating at first trying to get it off but once you get the hang of it, it comes off pretty easily. I've become an expert taking it off due to testing kernels and having to do a battery pull to get back to recovery lmao.
Geez, that was easy once you pointed it out. Good thing as I was planning on going to the music store to pick up a couple of guitar picks to try opening it up. I just want fast access in case the battery starts overheating.

Ya its a pain in the ass to find anything for the aftermarket battery's and doors I ordered a silicone one to help protect my phone just sold my ballistic case sucks cause no holster for the extended batteyr unless u spent 60 on a seidio batt and there gear which is over priced Chinese battery's work just the same if not the same thing my OEM battery from sprint was made in China hope more cases come out so we are not forced to by from one company.
Tpu case on moretalktime.com free shipping. New one coming out with larger openings on April 20±.

I have a silicon case that I am planning to make two cuts in with a razor which will fit over the extended battery. If only I ever used my extended battery...
The seidio big rugged yada yada yada case works with the chinese extended batteries you just leave the back off your phone. The camera is exposed but its always exposed and the case sits close enough that the battery doesn't fall out.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA Premium App
P.s. its not really called the yada yada yada I just don't remember its exact name. It comes in four pieces: back, skin, part that snaps over/around skin, and holster. I know thats a lot of technical terms but it gives you the idea.

I modified the Ballist HC but its a lot of work and you risk damaging it. Also I have the Seidio ext rugged and like it. Its built better than the standard rugged and I don't have a problem using the notifications menu bar like I do with the Ballistic. I don't care for the Seidio holster though. Rick
I modified my ballistic as well but the sanding and grinding was more complicated than I thought so I just cut a hole in the back to fit the battery door and I can use my stock kickstand and it looks good with the silicon/ rubber case on top of it. I prefer the seidio locking clip to the ballistic, it gives me more security when I lock the phone in it, I wish the ballist had this.

My issue with the seidio holster is if you have a jacket etc. on it gets caught on the top clip of the holster. Hey there's another reason to move to a warm climate, ha-ha
P.S. good idea with cutting through the back, that would allow me to use the 3500 battery instead of the sprint 2600
This case color is red its bright not dull. So far loving the case. Buttons are the easiest to press volume and power button looks nice just need to find a holster now that fits belt clip one.
Price has come down compared to what it use to be. Hard plastic skeleton is nice lol cheaper than seidio active case .
Anyone have any of these? I went back to stock battery extended battery was heavy bulk and no good cases for them. Not to many to pick from.
Any one found a holster that works for this .
Looks ugly ....but not bad for approximately $6.

Thought that till I got it works pretty good just need a holster I have used a butt load of diffrent case all of them were either to bulky or a pain to use the volume buttons.
This one is easy to take apart and put together buttons feel better then ever and all ports are easy to get to. I paid only 3 for this one on Amazon. Not bad tho.
Ballistic made it a brick which I didn't like. Worth checking out tho cheap doesn't look as ugly when you put it on.
I have this case and its a good little case if you use the stock battery like the open mentioned.

So yes I do have 2 posts on cases trying to gather info on things people are using . Gonna do a review on infectedrom.com . So if you have anything you recommend case wise or like about a case your using post somethin thanks.
if anyone is interested i stumbled upon another case/holster combo on ebay
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Samsung-Gal...012608?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item3a6d5e7f00
if anyone has it or has tried it please post your comments...i am searching for a good case + holster combo that has the phone facing inwards (protected)...someone else wrote a bad review about this one..i may be the guinea pig and just purchase this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protector-C...230535?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4cfc3adcc7
i know that the seidio combo is coming out soon (hopefully) im trying to find an alternative so i dont have to spend $60 on that
UPDATE: my case arrived this afternoon
First, I must say...i was skeptical about the quality of the case and holster given that it was so cheap ($13) and that the previous case/holster combo, which was mentioned, was so poorly made...this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-HARD-...511168?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item43ab2ab340 (a few people commented on this one and said it was really bad)...
the case and holster are both made out of hard shell rubber...the holster has a smooth felt piece that protects the phones screen when it inside...the belt clip swivels and comes out as a kick stand...i dont know how you are supposed to use the kickstand as the phone doesnt fit inside the holster with the screen facing out...so it guess they added that feature just to say they have it? because you cannot use it at all...the case fits snugly into the holster and comes out/in very easily (and yet wont every pop out on its own, which is nice)...the 1 draw back of the case is that it offers ABSOLUTELY no protection for the screen whatsoever..if you were to drop your phone screen side down it is about as well protected as not even having a case on it at all...my TPU case has a slight bump in the front which prevents the phones screen from touching the surface (table, ground etc..)...this case DOES NOT...overall though, for the quality and price of the combo my opinion is that it is quite solid
also, if anyone has an old case...there is a chance that it might fit into the holster..i have this one...http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLACK-S-LIN...?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item4ab072b78b...and it fits however it is not a 100% match so it does move around very slightly...i dont think it will pop out though...i've tried shaking it loose and it seems to stay in pretty well..
if anyone else has bought the case and knows how to utilize the kickstand properly please let me know...the workaround (which isnt very good) is to lay the phone on bottom plastic clip in widescreen mode...i guess you can use it that way if you must...
anyway....for $13 it is worth the purchase if you are looking for a cheap case/holster combo
just so theres no confusion, this is the EXACT one that i bought
