You could probably make a script for that, but to get the actual size, you would still need to buy it... So why dont you save yourself some time?

Yes. Fake SD cards are very common. Why would you want to do this though? It obviously wouldn't actually be any bigger.

Yeah, no. 8GB EMMC + 32GB Micro SDHC. That's where it tops out.
The closest I can figure out. Is that they put the RAM for some reason (512 MB) but but the GB label on. Not sure about that one. Even the iPod touch only goes to 64GB.

No Need, I use my stock 16GB and write at 7MB's and read at 22MB's Just use Sd Booster and set cache from 128kb to 1024,2048,3072,or 4096. So I went from like 2MBs to 7Mbs and went from 12 to 20ish

ok so then tell me this when i go from 9.85 avil space b4 sd booster to 9.20 avil space without adding anything to my sd card hmm me thinks sd booster just changed my cache size to store files in for faster loading which in turn uses up some of my storage space hmmmmm how interesting

I would not - sequential read-writes are slower in Lexar and Patriot vs. SanDisk (had first hand experience with all 3 brands). I was using the card to run CM7 on Nook Color from uSD, and the only one that would work was SanDisk.
The Sandisk 64gb Ultra is looking mighty tempting at the current price.

Most newer phones (ours included) will work with SDXC if the card is formatted to FAT32. (example)

This is quite annoying really. What makes it worse is that you can't move programs/apps to external SD Card ATM.
its not so much a bummer for me bc i dont install much. i love the phone so much i over look this :good:
True. We need to get the App 2 SD implemented. There are so many games i would like to install and haven't because of this reason.

Blows my mind that some people don't understand that 16gb will NEVER mean 16gb of usable space for users. And with microSD cards being so cheap I don't get why it would ever even be an issue. Best Buy had 64gb Sandisks on sale last week for $39...

Try installing 1 GB games on the SD card without rooting and without having the App 2 SD option.
App 2 SD option is needed urgently.
it doesnt mean I dont undersrand, it just isnt acceptable to loose nearly 6gb of storage space. Loosing 2gb is acceprable but nearly 6gb is apalling. Can you point me in a working workaround to install apps to external sd card then as the only one I can find a lot of people are saying it doesnt work or function very well.
