I have go launcher and running v6 supercharger and ran 1 to lock launcher in memory. If i open task manager should it still show go launcher running if its locked in memory?

bump question..
I believe option 1 just asks for verification if you are using home screen caches or not. I use launcher pro and disabled homescreen caches, then ran option 1 and hit any button other than y. This was on v6 update 8.

You using godmode? That may be it. Forbthe first day or so it lags a bit but then it flies

Try installing V6 Supercharger (I use the second MegaRAM option, but all should work). If you make the launcher bulletproof or even just HTK, you should never encounter that again.
As the title says when I'm in my text app or app drawer, anything I get that screen and sense reloads. How do I make it stop? It's driving me nuts! I'm also on MikG v2.5.
Thanks

Have you wiped cach and dalvic?
Thats where I'd start.
Tried that didn't work.
Check settings in Spare parts. I think it is labeled activity process managment. Set it to normal, not aggressive.

Hey thanks. I did that earlier and it worked. I always set it to aggressive on my epic so I figuredi could get away with it on the evo.
I would use the v6 supercharger script. That should take care of the reload problem. Plus running apps2sd in a partitioned setup should help.

Yea when I was having this problem real bad I tried the setting in spare parts, only worked for about 2 days. The fix that finally worked for good was running the V6 supercharger script and setting the launcher "hard to kill". Now I haven't had a sense reload in over two weeks.
Any one else using go launcher and getting reboots when going into recent tasks and pressing "task manager"?

Nope. Using Go Launcher for weeks now. No reboots. Tried what you said and still good. Sorry

Hrm something must be gimped up then.
Guess I'll remove Go Launcher and try that.
I've used this script many times so I'm pretty familiar with. My rom is Synergy non-godemode and I went to run this script and it says my launcher is locked in memory and I need to uncheck/disable lock in memory but I can't figure out how to do so. The way I understand it is that the script will run right when you disable lock home in memory. Anyone know how to disable it?

Nevermind I disabled it by going into the build.prop putting a "#" symbol before the "ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1" then rebooting my phone.

Every time I reboot my Glide, the phone automatically goes to LauncherPro (good!). However, when I tap the home key (even if I am focused on LPP), I get prompted to change the default launcher. Every time, I tap the checkbox for default, and select LPP. All is well, until I reboot my phone, and the whole process starts over again. Any suggestions?
There should be a lil box asking if u wanna keep said launcher as default...

As I said above, I always click the default launcher checkbox. And on every reboot, it is unset.
Have you tried freezing the offending launcher? If you don't even use it. Then you could even delete the launcher? Problem solved. why keep two launchers in the first place...

I am on an unrooted stock ICS rom, and freezing TwLauncher is disabled (button greyed) through the settings/applications/all menu.
That's your problem. A solution for stock may be a lot harder to come by. The stock launcher will always try to resurface like that. It also still uses its resources.

Is that new to the ICS update? This never happened under the last two versions of GB for the Glide...
