[Launcher] VistaLauncher V1.2 updated! again!

hi guys!
i design a Launcher based on Vista Aero (200dpi)
it looks like that..:

you can download it here if you like but i will create a better one soon!

is this only installed thru adb? I installed the normal way it says installed(astro) but there is no changes..pardon my noob retardness...

It's a system protected file, so astro can't install it. Push through ADB, it's easier

anyway to use terminal to install

Very nice launcher.

Let's say I don't have adb....
i used su.fb app and moved the launcher to system/app and tried installing it there..I lost my home button and still no changes...tried jus moving it there ..and a reboot and I got black screen..wiped n flashed now I'm back to square 1 is it even possible to make the changes with the su.fb app??

oh.. i didnt install it that way
i just put it in a theme the flashed give me a link to your desire rom and i put it in for you so the only thing you do is install new update

idk why android stretched it like that.. the icon should be a perfect circle

Would this launcher work on 3.9.10?

I flashed the 1.2 full rom, after the setup it went into a blank screen. When i press the end button, and pressed it again i can see the lockscreen. When i unlock my phone it just goes back to the black screen.

[THEME] Gingerbread with Keyboard /new 2.2.6 Market for CM 6.1.1 Stable

Here my new Theme for CyanogenMod 6.1.1 Stable!
Many users like the new Gingerbread style so I created
this little Theme.
For notification color,clock color etc.use attached "xml.file".
Extract from zip file and copy to /sdcard/CMTheme) then sellect in CMSettings.
If "CMTheme" folder not exist,make a folder on your sdcard called CMTheme
put the "xml file" it in there.
GO to setting>CMSetting>User Interface>Tweak extras>Select a Theme.
Version 1.0
- Initial Release
Version v2.0
- Added 2 new Nexus S LiveWallpapers,but Microbes have little bugs
- Launcher support only Portrait mode
- Many backgrounds added
- Modified some images
Version v2.1
- Music apk themed
- Now with themed ADW Launcher and landscape support
- New Android market 2.2.6 (not 2.2.7) but better then nothing
I have no problems at the moment.

yes, but this is first time I am trying to use a theme so I probably FU somewhere

for ticker,clock,date etc.via CM settings!

Any chance you can port this to a stock deodex ROM?. I can’t way to have gingerbread on my Stock ROM? Lol..thank you for the work tho.

Sorry,not at the moment.Because using CM as my daily ROM.
To port to other ROMs I have to flash this ROMs to my phone for
testing it out!

Almost.. any idea why, on Gingerbread keyboard, I see only numbers 1,2,4,5,0 above letters and not the others?

Hm,don`t have this problem,maybe clear the cache (Settings>Application>Manage Applications>All>Android Keyboard >Clear Cache).
Or do cache and dalvik-cache wipe and flash again!
Don`t know if this helps.
P.S.You can find a Gingerbread keyboard here,too.

It didn't help, but I found the reason.. I chose Croatian as input language, now when I choose English US it shows..

when i extract out of all the files which file do i copy to cmthemes

Only the xml file from attached "Gingerbread.zip"
Don`t extract the Gingerbread CM 6.1.1 zip!

You might wanna try the latest CM 6.1.1! I had been using stock deodexed forever but CM finally is stable so... why stay wth stock?

If normal installation didn't work out well for you, use the method below.
Procedure to install via Root Explorer Method
1. Download the apk file from the above link to your sd card.
2. Now using Root explorer, go to /system/app
3. Mount the system to r/w.
4. Now search for Vending.apk & rename it to Vending.apk1
5. Copy the file you just downloded to /system/app & rename it to Vending.apk
6. Now press & hold the app and select Permissions
7. Select only the options given below. Now REBOOT & enjoy.....

Can't install app more than 20Mb..Insuficient space..
I have a problem after using this market version, it can't install app above 20mb..
I've restored back to my market backup..but its not working..my older market now have the same error..
I've clear the cache.. not work to..
I've search this forum but..nothing work for me..
what is the solution?

May be because of the wifi addition. For file size above 20mb try downloading over a wifi network.

I am downloading over wifi network..... could it be caused by my ext4 partition? i have more than 1gb of ext4 partition..

Just a normal apk install.

Normal install doesn't working on Grif's CyanogenMod, only an alert "App is not installed" but I have market 3.2.0 installed

It worked fine for me using grif's cm. I just installed it like a normal apk and it worked, no problems.

It's faster than the previous version. It's not blazing fast but it's fast enough. I would suggest you try it. The first time you open the new market might be a bit slow but after that it's quite fast

For those who have the 3.2.0 Market installed:
Apk installation won't work until you go back to an older version like 3.1.5.

Moto 360 and Xiaomi Mi4

Newbie question: Xiaomi appears to be not compatible with Android Wear. Is there a workaround? Mi4 is on kit kat 4.4.2. I will have to give up one if I dont find a solution.
Will rooting the Xiaomi be a solution if so....can point me to the right place?

I don't know where you brought your mi4,and which rom you're using.
I suggest the Official Developer's ROM,it contains root and can install Google Apps easily.
And then you can install the file attached(checking by yourself,just got it from my /data/app)
use it to install google apps and then update them up to date with play store.
I know there's some 3rd party ROMs for foreign users.you can try them too.

thank you so much.....currently i am on Miui V5
i copy and paste the developer file to root,
been trying to update via the physical method of power and volume up.
but it will stop halfway and say invalid
at the Updater
i cannot activate the menu button

OK,i think you need a fastboot flashing package

download it and do a backup,
copy your backup and files out of the phone if you don't want lose them.
THIS WILL WIPE YOUR PHONE INCLUDE SD CARD.
and this is v6 with official English locale settings.
PS:in v5,updater is good choice to update to v6.try long pressing the menu button to call menu out.

same problem with my new mi4 and my moto 360.
I had not had any problem with Xiaomi hongmi Note, but this mi4 is facing this problem.
I am not located in China, so maybe this has something to do with it.

Stock phone/dialer app

I installed the GlobAL00ized beta 2 rom on my AL00 and the stock phone app was replaced with Google's Phone app and prefer the stock app. Can anyone share the stock apk?

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I can't install the apk you posted. It fails with "The parser didn't find any certificates in the installation package." error.

All good, again thanks for trying. I can request that the stock app be put back into the rom instead of the Google version and for now it takes more steps to do certain things, like adding #s to blacklist. I have to do it via Phone Manager app instead of straight through the phone app.

Then I can backup the app via titanium backup, restore my current setup and restore the app. Profit I have to wait till I get home though cause my backup in on a flash there.

You cannot install the stock dialer. You must copy and paste it to system/app. Set correct permissions and reboot.

HELP!
i install the google dialer last week ... then i can see both dialer .... Huawei and Google, starting today the huawei dialer is going and its not showing in the app-drawer anymore.
Any ideas ?

How to get back uninstalled stock dialer app
I managed to uninstall by mistake the stock dialer app on my Mate 20 Pro (9.1.0.300), is there some way how to get it back?
