Not yet. I can't find the RIL for this radio.

got the autoflasher here http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10752587/rmk_pfak-radio_to_ril_automatcher-v6.zip
This will match the rils to the Radio, mount system partition in recovery and flash.

Thanks for ur help ... I'm a beginner
Is this safe with this ?
If yes, what is the exact procedure ? Put in the SD/ Reboot in recovery/ Mount system/ install from SD ?
Is that correct ?

Yes but a word of warning, with Unity 2.35 and now with 2.39 everytime I use the automatcher(Copy the automatcher to SDCARD,Reboot to recovery, mount system then install from SDCARD) It breaks my APN settings so I can't connect over data,
I agree with the theory of matching but it really does not seem to make a hugh difference,at least in my experience.
Change your radio,do a efs wipe, and you should be good,
If you want to match the rils then give it a go but if you loose the APN settings you will have to reflash the ROM.

I've had good results with this one too. No RIL matching. But I'm back on Unity 1.29, and I get good reception and easily 2 days of battery life with light to moderate usage. I tried versions after 1.29 (but not 2.35 or 2.37 yet) but the battery life was cut in half.
Best radio is usually a function of your specific geographic location. Its worth starting with the "recommended" radio for a certain ROM. But your results may vary.

Hi bomb'. Did you find UMT ? Like it ?

[Q] How to NAND backup my DHD, Where to get a stock ROM, Transfering Data after flash

Hi there,
I've got a rooted DHD (unbranded, on Orange in the UK) and have Radio S-Off using the one click tool. I'm thinking about custom roms (perhaps leedroid or a gingersense, but I think I'll wait and see how stock gingerbread runs on my DHD before flashing anything custom).
-How can I take a *full* backup of my phone? (NAND I think it's called?)
-What else do I need to do to my phone? Do I need ENG hboot? What does that do exactly? And what about clockwork mod?
-After I flash a ROM what do I lose? Is it like doing a factory reset? What's the best way of backing up and subsequently restoring contacts, accounts, settings, SMS and apps?
-How long does flashing a ROM take?
-Is my SD card touched in this process?
-Which Rom do you recommend and why? (My phone doesn't need any more performance I don't think btw, battery on the other hand )
-Anything else I should know?
Thanks in advanced

Install ClockworkMod recovery either directly or by ROM Manager and using th backup function in either (ROM Manager is simply a GUI for clockworkmod recovery).

EVERYTHING. Yes. Google syncs your contacts. TiTanium backup will backup apps but I never found it 100% successful. Better to get used to possibility of having to re-download them. There's a vast number of apps to backup SMS. I like Sprite but MyBackUp Pro is highly recommended too. As is SMS backup and restore.

I recommend Cyanogen but only you can decide what ROM you like best and your phone will tell you what ROM / Radio / Kernel it likes best.

Yes, all your questions are answered. The development thread is your friend as is the search box.
Yup, thats all about it. Lol.
If you are not sure, do not do anything. Ask first. Else you will increase the risk of bricking your phone.
Cheers mate.

What would the difference between a European stock rom and a Bell Canada stock rom? I look forward to the stock rom. Thanks

In order to avoid potential Force crashes amongst other issues it's generally advised to wipe via clockworkmod.
Well for a proper link to it, we'll need to know more like is your Wildfire S GSM or CDMA?

Q
If you have lost root, there is a tutorial very easy to follow on how root your phone just look in the android development section
Flash "root.zip" located in this topic http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195275 This should hopefully resolve your issue of losing root.
Actually i see no differences between EU and others other than the languages ... and why not flashing any RUU ?

try to do a complete rom refresh (return to stock, look for my signature, there will be almost anything you will need). It happened to me, when I flashed a wrong ruu os via cwm, but after the ruu it worked like it must.
After flash the bootup can last long enough, so wait for at least 5 mins.

There is the VirginMobile/sprint RUU for the PrimoC out at the stock ruu section if you mean that.
But then again, if the phone is already rooted, a custom will be more safer, and/or reasonable and not to mention faster.

Yes but when you flash ROM's they do not come with radio's, those are always flashed separate. The only time you will get a radio is if you use a RUU or perform a OTA which includes a radio in the update.
