I would put some pictures up but I don't own all of them, and a few I've checked out in Retail stores, however If I buy any that fit, i'll make sure I post up photos of the fit.
Then just put the pictures in you own. Some others who have the extended battery and a case could send you their pictures and you could implement them into your post.
When I get my S2, 2000 mAh battery and decided for a case i will do some pictures for you, too.
PS: You could link every name of the cases to their official pages, too.
Here are some:

Case-Mate Barely There: case-mate.com/Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-Cases/Case-Mate-Samsung-Galaxy-S-II-Barely-There-Cases.asp
Hope I can help improving your thread I think your thread can help very many people.
Would love to know about the Otterbox Commuter compatibility.

Hi all!
Yes, as most soft cases the Graphix fits, but you'll see some looseness in the camera section. Also, I did not like the grip of this case at all, it felt slippery imo.
I went for the Neon hybrid instead, very satisfied.
How tight is the fit on the Case Mate Tough case with the 2000mah battery? I like the look of it and just placed an order for it. Is it so tight that there's a risk of damaging the phone?
Zenus Skin Air Jacket
Just got the new battery and put it in my Zenus Skin Air Jacket... dont know what to say... sadly it doesnt fit... but its useable.
The edge of the phone comes out a bit and therefore the access to the volume and powerbutton is limited.
I made some photos but cant post the links due lack of postcount
The Walnutt bumper fits for sure, but hell, it it even fits my Momax 2700mah Expower batts, so that's a moot point.
I am within the M25 and have an otterbox for my S2 if you need to try it then pm me.
what is the sense of using a bumper of a sgp neo hybrid ?
i mean, isnt the purpose of a case to cover the whole phone? both the examples above mentioned appear to just cover the borders of the phone, leaving uncovered the whole back of it.
actually sgp neo hybrid series sounds just like a overpriced bumper.
anyone, can prove the opposite?
actually i am very interested in this because it looks like there is no real hard non/bumper case fitting with the new battery: and the only (crappy) solutions appear to be either bumpers or gum/rubber cases ...

IT fits but the rubber part is under a small amount of pressure, pushing the phone out of the hard plastic casing. it is MINIMAL, if your like me and fiddle with your phone all the time, it is just a case of pushing it with the lightest touch back in.
It won't damage the phone unless your trying the impossible (pushing the phone into the bottom cutout.) and pushing so hard you crack the hard plastic shell in otherwords impossible. the ideal would be to cut the rubber out in the shape of the battery lid compartment. on the rubber part, then assembling with the hard casing. so you remove the tension off the added thickness.
if I have a hybrid neo spg .... and put the battery without the back cover ... only with the case spg ... looks good? or can cause problems? (Sorry for my English)

Cool. Thanks for the detailed description. I hate to mangle new case, but I may have to do that. Wonder if cutting out the battery compartment rubber part may reduce shock resistance of the case.
Can anyone tell me if it will fit in the Samsung Leather Pouch?
If not are there any other 'pouch' style cases that will?
thanks

Hey Guys, i hope you can help me out as im struggling to find any case that fulfils my needs.
Im looking for a case which is of course compatible to the 2000mah battery pack; it should be slim and kinda TPU/Silicone like material. The buttons should also be covered, but what's _really_ important to me is that the buttons should be covered with a rubber material so you can still press them easily and have that "clicky feeling", which isn't the case with most cases out there (man, what a sentence )
Any recommendations would be much appreciated

sgp hybrid cases fit well if its a bit more exspensive then what your looking for ebay do some ok fakes that arent quite the same quality but still fit better then most 3rd party silicone cases
you can get genuine ones for approx £20 and fakes for about £6/£8
id say the fakes are much better then the other cheap silicone cases that get baggy and attract a lot of dust and stuff
my mates been using one for about 2 months now and its kept his sgs2 spotless
You may want to try Seidio's Active case for your device. It is a hybrid case - silicone cover that contacts your device (flexible enough for the larger battery) and the hard plastic exoskeleton (additional protection and keeps the "soft" insides in place). There is an holster available for case as well. I have used the case for another device under the same situation.
I'm looking to get a case for my WHITE galaxy s2 but I need some advice
1) lime green SGP ultra capsule http://www.spigen.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/760x500/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/l/i/lime_2_6.jpg
Pro: some shock absorbent/TPU style, light, elevates screen and back camera, easy to pull in/out of pocket and use
Con: shiny, fingerprint magnet, may be prone to scratches, plastic-ky look
2) argos SGP pouch http://www.spigen.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/9df78eab33525d08d6e5fb8d27136e95/x/m/xmain_2_32.jpeg
Pro: leather case, nice premium feel, flip style case, mesh cover for speaker, elevated camera/screen
con: flip style case, need to open to charge, back has a "hump" on the bottom, pattern on opening leather, flap to use, bit bulky, bit more expensive
3) sena leather pouch http://www.senacases.com/samsung-cases/galaxy-s-2/ultraslim/white.jpg
Pro: looks nice, looks thin, soft, doesn't take away from s2 design once you pull it out, protection?
con: once you take it out the phone is unprotected, can't use with case on, will the leather fade/catch colors?
4) elago s4 mesh case http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51otRQKfLfL._SL400_.jpg
pro: stylish, thin, light, medium protection, looks like it raises the screen/camera, cheaper, polycarbonate
con: danger when dropping, dust buildup?
5) zenus leather case
http://www.geeknaut.com/images/2012/03/Zenus-Prestige-Luxury-Basic.jpg
http://www.geeknaut.com/images/2012/03/Zenus-Prestige-Luxury-Basic2.jpg
http://www.geeknaut.com/images/2012/03/zenus-prestige-carbon-fiber.jpg
Pro: good protection, flip style, premium/high class look, thinner than the sgp argos i believe
Con: expensive, flip style, need to open to charge
Have you used any of these cases before? What did you think? Which would you buy?

That thread was of no help whatsoever. I did search it already, maybe you would like to take a look at both threads.
go for the mesh!
I am going to get the original Samsung mesh case from a Korean ebay seller called shimshop at just 10 bucks shipped.
My experience with many previous phone is when I just get the phone I want to get all the different case and protection for it, but after a year most likely I will remove them all and just use the phone naked as I don't care anymore.
Your phone will not worth much after a year or two anyway, and any case WILL add bulk to the phone.
So I now will get a cheap and slim case for basic scratch protection for at most a year only then forget about any protection.
I'm looking for a shock absorbing thin case, what do you recommend?

I wanted a as slim as possible case and I wanted it to protect all the way around the perimeter of the phone. Here are the choices (in order from first to last), help me decide.
Rearth Ringke Slim - At $28 it's a bit expensive and it doesn't cover the sides. Also looks to be less grippy since it's hard smooth plastic.
BoxWave Blackout - I'm worried it's thicker than a case like the Rearth, but with that said it protects all around and is really cheap at $12. I think the material is more rubber like which sounds more appealing to a gloss hard case. Not many reviews anywhere for this case.
elago G4elago G4 - I'm not sure about this case in general.
Thanks for your input.
Personally I like the Leather style flip cases, The one that doubles up as a wallet.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BLACK-WAL..._MobilePhonesCasesPouches&hash=item3374db7913
I would never pay more than £10 (delivered) for a case.
in terms of slimness i've basically narrowed it down to two giants.
1. sgp ultra thin
2. casemate barely there.
not sure which ones better but from what i can tell they're pretty much the same, both at a hefty 25 bucks.
anyways, i'm in the same boat as you. XD
not sure which case to get.

I have the rearth and it is very slim, the only down side it is a beeeoootch to take off (i have a dock/charger for the phone) and if you take it on and off a lot it cracks and the part closet to the usb port cover, nothing earth shattering it actually makes it much easier to take the case off - that and the sgp ultra clear and it is almost like having nothing on the phone at all.
I have used diztronic cases for the last year (for my SII and now my N7000). They are very similar to the boxweave case you posted.
http://www.amazon.com/Diztronic-Fle...0386413&sr=8-3&keywords=diztronic+galaxy+note
As you know TPU protects like a silicon case but doesn't stick in your pocket or collect lint and dust due to it not being "sticky" feeling. I recently sold my SII for over $300 after 8 months of daily use because my SII was in perfect condition as a result of being in a diztronic tpu case. No, I never dropped the phone on cement or anything but I dropped my SII on the carpet from 5+ feet and the phone was unchanged when I picked it up. Didn't pop out of case or battery, etc. Because the tpu cases have a 1/8 or so "lip" on the front they also allow the phone to be placed face down on flat surfaces. IMHO and experience, a good tpu case is all you need to fully protect your phone unless you work in construction or somehow expect to drop it on cement.
So, my vote goes to the boxweave or diztronic cases. BTW I got 2 diztronics for $14 from amazon, the black matte and smoke matte. Great deal!
^I'm actually thinking of getting a real cheap TPU case like that I can mod. My ideal case is a TPU Bumper, maybe the Boxwave Black out without the back part but have the vol and power buttons cut out. I guess it's just not feasible so far... ?
Anyway, Thanks for the input so far guys, keep it coming.
bumper TPU from Amazon

first post here,
I have one of these.
search amazon for bumper cases.
I'm not allowed to post urls.
I like it, I have it on right now. What I have is different from what's
in the pictures. No cutouts for the buttons and the other cutouts are not
as big. The covers of the buttons are pretty sensitive, unlike the covers
for the Boxwave type which I got from Hongkong for 2 bucks.
Check amazon out, they have a lot of cases.
I also have the elago Breathe case, I love them I have two.
I ended up taking my chances on this. I guess it's going to be as close as I get. Thanks everyone, I'll let you know how it is when I get it.

Go for the Rearth Ringke Slim , is THE BEST OF ALL !!!
Hi all, I'm in a similar dilemma.
I've got a choice between these two:
https://www.gearzap.com/media/catalog/product/3/4/34484-2.jpg
and
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYBRID-SI...lePhonesCasesPouches&var=&hash=item416682f7b6
I know I should pick the Zenus, but would the inside bit that holds my phone scratch the outer bezel? And since the hybrid one has a silicon case THEN a hard outer shell I figured it would be good too. Any ideas?
Thanks!
I use a an SGP Ultra thin. Comfortable case. Considering the size of the phone the case is great. Merges with the Phone. +1 anytime.
I ordered this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160732471512?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649. It has a stand that works in both axis.
good
Nice
Particularly one that can fit the OEM extended battery (which, speaking of, where's the best/cheapest place to get it)?
I'm used to just going for Otterbox, but the one for the Nexus looks ugly and like a complete lint/dirt magnet (the notification light cut-out part particularly). I already have a thin/light case on the way, which I got before I realized how small my hands are and how cautious I am about not dropping to phone due to a lack of grip when using one-handed - and it's already dropped once and left a tiny scratch on the back...and I've never dropped my phone before getting a Nexus.
So...recommendations? I read about Ballistic and Aegis cases a bit but aren't familiar with them at all. Seidio cases look nice, but no idea what kind of protection they offer. Anything with a plain black base is preferable, color accents would be nice (including pink if it's not too gaudy) - anything with a light base (white especially) is out.
I think the Trident Kraken is the most protective case out there. It's not very grippy b/c of the plastic being on the outside though. And it has a kickstand

It looks grippy and rubbery from pictures, it's just a hard/smooth plastic on the outside? It looks nice otherwise, thanks. And is the kickstand plastic or metal?
I bought an Otterbox Defender series for Galaxy Nexus. It is fitting both the standard and the stock extended battery. It is the only case that has a tough protective material for the display also. Of course, it is stealing a little of the clarity, but it is a fair trade for the toughness that is providing.

How's the material on the back? I had two Otterbox Commuter cases and found the back to be way too slippery/smooth (it was fine since the phones were small enough to grip easily). And is it possible to remove the screen protector? I already have a good matte screen protector on.
At the moment I'm kinda leaning toward the Trident Kraken for basically being a two-part case and being kinda nice-looking too.
The material on the back is a VERY grippy silicone. No plastic on the outside.
It is possible to remove the screen protector (I've seen other people doing it) but why in the world would you like to do it?
I bough the case to take the phone out on my mountain biking rides where I really need a tough screen protector not for the scratches but for the rocks .
I also have a XO screen protector on the display, for regular use.
I'm not using the tough case daily .. it is transforming the phone in the life signs detector used by the Earth crew in Stargate Atlantins
---------- Post added at 09:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:26 PM ----------
I just recompiled what you wrote ... the otterbox IS two part case .. a polycarbonate case (which has the screen protector) which is fitting in a silicone enclosure ... and you also get a polycarbonate holster for the whole assembly
Try out the Seidio Convert case. I use it while at work and it is a pretty nice case!
http://www.seidioonline.com/samsung-galaxy-nexus-convert-case-holster-black-p/bd4-hkr4ssgnl.htm
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda app-developers app
I've got the Ballistic. Seriously, it's awesome. I don't fear dropping it and it gives much more protection than the commuter. Says it was designed for the non gsm version, but my gsm with stock battery work perfect, so I guess with the extended it will also work. Very good grip on the back, seriously with the shell and silicon I don'T even think about the grip I sometimes just want to drop it lol. Corners = win.
Also, It looks manly. Fits in pocket, corners sometimes make it harder to pull out/in if you're sitting.
I would try the Seidio convert only if I decide to buy the extended. Looks beastly.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UE_Z31IIByw
I don't care for the screen protector built-in the Defender since I already have a matte screen protector that diminishes the screen quality (and having a clear/glossy protector on top of it would also defeat the purpose of the anti-glare and silky feeling of the matte protector), and while I'm sold in the protection, I'm not sold on the looks of the front (the area around the LED is a bit much if you ask me, and seems like it'd make it difficult to see the LED at certain angles).
The belt clip/holster on any case (Defender included) are useless to me, but a kickstand (that doesn't require a belt clip) is very nice...and as a result I'm kinda stuck between the Seidio Active with kickstand (for price) and Trident Kraken (for looks and being two-part; being able to get different-colored bases for cheap is a huge plus).
Any other suggestions with kickstands would be nice, and I do appreciate the other input/suggestions; while I'm certainly not against multiple cases, I only have money for one and want it to last at least a month.
And yeah, "manly" looks aren't exactly a pro for me =P
I bought the Defender in pink so could use the extended battery, and I wanted something rugged. My husband got the Trident Kraken. His looks nicer but he complains that it is too slippery. Not sure if there is a perfect case out there

Got mine from a Korean seller on eBay (think it was shim shop or similar - had good seller ratings). Took a while to arrive but its the real deal.
SGS Hybrid and Zenus cases are fine with the bigger battery, but not very heavy duty.
Trident kraken is by far the most protective and will fit both stock and extended battery. It's not as grippy as the defender but it's by far better quality and the kickstand can be taken out and other accessories like gps mount, bike mount, desk mount, and tripod can be used with the case
I said screw buying a case for my nexus, when I can buy a complete rear housing and battery door for $20 on eBay. When the housing gets scuffed up replace it.
I have a Galaxy S3 (i747) with the new Samsung branded 3000 mAh battery, but I need a case. The Otterboxes do not fit, and IDK if the Incipio will (I had incipio before my old GS3 was lost). Which cases will definitely fit this new size?
Seidio Active
By leaving the back cover off the phone this one will fit. It has a hard plastic outer shield for the back so it offers plenty of protection. Works for me until a made to order case comes out. I had the kickstand model first. I think it sucks. Would not hold the phone vertical, was ugly and it bulged too much. That be my opinion.
nothing else?
i have the same problem.. someone solved it?
are not there any case for the original 3000 battery ?

thanks for the info ill' call my london friend.
I have this battery + the Diztronic. The case fits perfectly and is very well done. It is available via Amazon or through the Diztronic site.
There is a long thread about this battery here but you have to go through the entire thread to find the cases that work. Mentioned as cases that fit: the Zoogue Social, the Eclipse, the Case-Mate Emerge Smooth, the Urban Armor Gear case (if you do not use the included battery door), and the "fake Spigen Neo Hybrids" from sunsky. Others have modded the Otterbox Commuter and the Invero Hard Plastic Bumper case (from amazon UK).
I have ordered some cheapo silicon cases that I hope are stretchy enough to work with the extended battery as I would like some more colorful options.
Anyone know which case this is?
