no one having this problem?
Try updating profile, and prl - Reboot =] - quite a few people are getting the icon, and losing data. I think they had to call Sprint and reprogram the phone.
I have never seen that icon as of yet

In the picture above I see both wifi and 3g how do I get rid of 3g while using wifi. Also when I try turning off using my toggle it doesn't budge. Weird problem but annoying. Used to wifi 'overtaking' 3g when it comes on.

If manually toggling it doesn't fix it; I'd reflash the rom real quick and see if that fixes it.
Well fine sir, I rebooted and then downloaded notification refresh. That did the trick. At first it was only the theme that wouldn't cooperate but now it works just fine. PS I replaced my speaker so I'm patient again.

Does anyone know how to turn off the "4G!" notification that seems to constantly be there if you have the antenna on and there's no service? I want to leave the radio on as I am constantly moving and go in and out of 4G range throughout the day.
The notification is akin to the wireless network availability notification, except that one has a clear way to be turned off via the wireless network settings.
I am rooted and running the latest stock de-odexed ROM from xHausx.
Here's a screenshot of the notification I'm referring to

I 'could be wrong', but i don't think there's a way to do that right now.

About the only way is to turn off the antenna when your out of range of 4g. You can add a widget to make it a little quicker then going into settings.
Hi,
I have rooted GNex running 4.2.1. Recently I'm experiencing a problem when getting calls. When I answer them the phone freezes with the number and "incoming call" on the screen. In ten seconds I'm finally able to talk and sometimes while I talk the sound goes to the speaker although it's not on and it doesn't help if I switch it on/off it a couple of times. Thanks in advance
details?
what rom are you running? kernel ?

Same problem here. I can't find a fix.

Hmmm, you tried different kernels? :-S do you have a soundmod installed? that might interfere sometimes
In the settings for battery life I have very bad network strength:

}
I don't quite understand how the quality can change that fast, because I'm at work at the moment and my phone is lying on my desk beside me. Everytime I turn it on it has full network strength...
Anyone else got this problem?
Edit:
My phone tells me I didn't have a network signal vor over 70%, and that's definetely not true.
I'm having the same issue, I apparently didn't have a signal for 44% today which I know isn't true, I'd had data turned off for allot of the day, wonder if that had something to do with it

Hey guys ive been using tablet talk for a while and since i switched to the One I havent been able to send MMS without the Bluetooth disconnection and then the message not sending. I use it with my Galaxy Gear and Kyocera Hydro and they both have the same issue. I have also tried it with a sense and GPE Rom on my One. Anyone else experiencing problems?
Well I have been using tablet talk for a long time but I use it over wifi. Have you checked to see if the settings in and tried the MMS not working option by any chance?
