Optimus T ROM - Upgrading, Modifying and Unlocking

Can somebody please send me on my way to the ROM's for Optimus T? I can't seem to get anywhere with Megatron, which is compatible with Optimus One. Either it doesn't work on the t or I'm doing something wrong. Thank-you.

Is this phone bricked beyond repair? All I was doing was running back-up in CWM.http://i.imgur.com/EAinj.jpg Thank-you.

Well, I don't know why imgur isn't working. But in the upper left-hand corner it says:
Fastboot mode started
udc_start ()
--suspend--
Is this fixable or a $400 paperweight?

All ROMs that work for O1 work for the OT. (Using Mik's CM7 on an Optimus T)

Thank, you-but its too late, right? I mean, nothing on the phone responds because I guess it's bricked for good, right?

Nope, you still have hope. These links that are going to be under this might help you. This is for the LG P500, but it might work for the P509.

Hopefully it works out, but last resort would be maybe trying to get TMO to replace it for you.
PS: You should try to move/recreate this thread in the P500 specific forums. There are many other Optimus T users there and I'm sure they have more knowledge than me.

I see they got it to boot on their Desires and are freakin out, rightfully so. I wonder if the G2s will get a port..if I knew anything about deving I would be over this like flies on sh*t, but alas..I know nothing..
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Thanks for the link. And I bet our devs would love to get it going. I've looked around and the vision seems to be one of the more buzzing forums in terms of development. And I agree, if I could then I would most definitely port it as well. It'll get working on our visions, considering our hardware is more accelterated and powerful than the desire. I know ill be getting the Sensation asap, but the G2 is a great phone and great for flashing roms, etc.

The original Desire got it booting? I know the DHD guys got it booting (without a touchscreen though).
If none of our devs take this up, which I doubt, I'll try port the DHD port of the Sensation. Which I'll fail.
Meh.
Dammit, it was the DHD guys :-(

Better than the Desire devs. Easier porting for us!
I hope a dev gets this to work....
Exactly.

RMK is taking a look at it, if it's not too difficult you guys may have a base to tweak off of in the next few days... don't quote me though... he did say he was looking at it though on IRC...
Eh.. don't really believe htc when it comes to this whole specs thing.. G1 shouldve stopped on cupcake.. and it can run Gingerbread.

I completely agree. If my old G1 could run windows98, Sense, and even 2.3 without much trouble then the G2 should have NO problem I would think.
Yeah I agree. I think that they just say that to completely knock out any questions people would ask. But we'll see of course.

[ROM/PORT][11/17/11]BlackICEv1.23

Hello again haha. Here is another port for another phenomenal ROM.. I just love porting I enjoy the time people put into developing .
This is blackICE ported over from the Desire HD thread,I ported this a while ago but never got the chance to share also. It was an outdated port so I scraped that and ported it fresh over again..
I take no credit all goes to the Project-X Team and its Contributors for developing a aosp beast .

I do have 1 problem that I ran across, when I went to update 4ext on the market it said that the app wasn't compatible with my device. Is there something in the build.prop that its making the market think this is a different phone? I looked through it and couldn't see anything wrong.
Sent from my Htc Glacier using xda premium
I'm having the same issue with market saying my device is not compatible
Is this line in your build.prop?
ro.build.fingerprint=tmobile/htc_glacier/glacier:2.3.4/GRJ22/95282:user/release-keys
I ported a rom from the G2 once and i had to copy in that info from a mytouch 4G build.prop because the market thought my device was a G2.

Can Anyone Port A Sense 4.0A Rom With Working Camera?

I have been following the desire s' primo thread and it looks liike proxuser got the camera workink
Lol I'm not skilled enough to port right now, and I have tons of exams, is anyone else willing to port this rom?
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
Lol I actually might take a stab at it when he uploads the new version. Question: if the rom has some errors when its compiled, is it possible that it could brick my phone? Or will it just not boot, or any other errors that show up?
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
Just won't boot, it would be very hard to brick your phone by flashing a rom or kernel

Which tutorial did you read? Try the noob one. Flashing custom ROM and custom kernel will help you play games smoothly even without overclocking. Once you have successfuly unlock bootloader and install custom recovery, you can freely install custom ROM which is extremely fun

[Q] Could really use a backup file of the stock HTC One V phone (as in HTC Sense)

Well, my phone is pretty much messed up and the whole situation is too frustrating for me to even want to think about it anyone. If someone could attach a backup file of their own stock rom that they originally had when they got their HTC One V it would be really helpful. All I want is to return my phone to what it once was but I was too dumb and never made a backup.
EDIT: Also, my phone is GSM if that means anything.
When I jacked my phone up I just downloaded the proper ruu for my carrier and reflashed it that way. There are a few threads on here that has ablink to the ruu download site

Sorry, I'm a total noob. :c You could say I was lucky to have even put new rom on my phone. Could you link me the site? I might be able to figure out the rest after that.
Ah, wait. Sorry for the double post but I remember coming across this RUU stuff when I was trying to get it back to what it was. The problem with this was there wasn't a Bell RUU (Canadian company). Is there a Bell RUU out there somewhere?
I'll do some digging around and see if I can find the bell gsm ruu. If I find it ill post link
Sent from my HTC One V using xda app-developers app
Alright, thank you so much! If you don't find anything it's totally fine, I had a really hard time trying to look for it. :B
I found the ruu file for a couple other carriers but Bell still looking though
