Matte Black Back Cover

Hey,
I've been looking to get a matte back cover for my arc, on the grounds that I think the shiny back looks a bit cheap and the matte ones are easier to hold and feel better.
I was just wondering if anyone is selling, or knows of anyone selling, these back covers either in Europe (to avoid the huge delivery times on most on eBay), OR for less than £9.

Thats the thing I'm on about, but they all seem to be imported from Asia and quite expensive for what's basically a thin piece of plastic.
Also, if anyone DOES have one, what's it like to use? Are they loose or anything, basically are they built up to standard?

Would just like to confirm, mine just arrived today, and it is SO much better!
Anyone who doesn't like the slightly cheap feel of the phone, buy one. Honestly it makes a world of difference!

Got mine yesterday and it fits perfectly, the feel in hand is way, way better also the squeaky sound from the original one is gone!
I'm very happy with this cover.
If someone is wondering to buy it or not, don't and get it.

Did the same things as I couldn't take the wobble feeling anymore. If the matte cover still wobbles, I probably have to buy a case or move on to another phone. Unfortunately, others make ugly phones. Only Atrix is somewhat impressive of the rest.

Hi,
I searched on ebay and want to order one black & one silver. But there is no info available on ebay whether the back cover is matte or just like original.

just just a matte black shell. fits well and quality i would say, its better than its price of $2.40 with free shipping

hm... I think all the cases are compatible. I've got the gel case from ebay, the leather one in the retail package and both fit perfectly.

Think im gunna take a gamble on the Italk one. Thin around the back, has holes in all the correct places. Looks like ir protects the phone when its turned over.
For £4.96 you can't go wrong really!

It's hard to tell from the photos whether it really does protect the front of the phone (when you place it face down). I'd be interested in what you find!

To be fair, i wanted a slim case, which this is. I dont intend to launch my phone around, i always place it down back first.

Excellent, I'll wait for the case to arrive, then have a look round for a dock that will fit.
Please let us know how the obostore case compares, I'm a big fan of decent phones cases and will inevitably try out a few.

I had both the white and black together at one point... Don't mix them.. it sounded like a cool idea, but NOPE.
I'm rocking the white gs2 right now, and i would have to say I would prefer the black DESIGN because the white one feels like cheap plastic that scratches fairly easily.

yeah I saw a white one that was used for a couple weeks without a back guard (like zagg) and it looked pretty bad. It wasn't DEEP scratches or anything , it's those swirl scratches you get on your car after a bad car wash and the lack of waxing.
Fortunately for me, I covered my baby nice and tight. And truthfully, I think the WOW factor is the WHITE face not the white back.

looks pretty nice. Kinda like the Ultra Slim with protection on the top and bottom.

They're going in the opposite direction of what I was hoping for. I really want a Tough Armor. Especially after the drop test on you tube.

Nice thanks for the heads up this looks sharp for those of us who like the least intrusive look with a little added protection. It does look awfully glossy though

look good but i don't like how the corners are not rounded off. that little cut off at each corner bugs me.

Will buy. I'm all about these super thin, barely-there cases. Just need some body scratch protection.

I think they have mistaken the pages cause the case from THIS page is exactly the same for $8. Maybe that's our chance to buy it, they're giving us a chance to take advantage of :laugh:

I think you guys are gonna just get the Ultrafit in a clear shell not the actual Ultra thin air. Seeing as there is a different page for it. But hopefully Im wrong! Let us know what happens or if you get the shipping confirmation!

Yeah. I think since it's just a clear shell that's why they're using the glossy plastic. I wonder if anyone will make one similar, with a frosted finish...

I can understand the decision to have the "cut off" corners and other areas, but I would prefer a snap on case with full coverage so it doesn't get caught on loose threads or something. Plus, with the glossy sides on the White, it'll eventually scuff the sides of the phone by removing the case every now and then.

Pretty sure this is going to be a horrible case... It just looks good on the renders.
Its clear acrylic (plastic) every time i have bought something like this it gets scratched up, feels horrible, cheap and will look hideous with all the visible dust under the case and the scratch marks.

SGP's site is weird. It does not even have the Ultra Fit (black, white, or champagne) on there but is for sale on Amazon.

^ I got an iPhone 5S crystal clear super thin case. It looked great for a few days, but progressively got more and more scratched up. Looks horrible after a while.

Just arrived, here's photos.
I haven't installed it yet but I'm very glad I didn't pay full price for what I see so far. I've used skins before, but this one looks kinda cheap. It's a clever idea but in person, it looks like a sticker or decal and is super glossy and reflective, which eliminates any possibility of a realistic effect. I'll upload more once it's installed though and see if that changes my impression.

The first photo is what you can expect if positioned toward a light source. Super reflective!

It's not matte at all. 100% high gloss, like a professionally printed photo.

Still looks like a sticker, and not very realistic, but I'll put a clear case on it anyway. Maybe that will help.

Got mine this morning. Bit annoyed as they forgot to add back only as that's the one I intended to put on to have better grip from sides of the phone. Installed full skin. Came from dbrand matte skin so this is surely a different feel. Thought it would be slippery but instead it has bit of a grip some how. Looks good in person. Surely shiny and reflects light so not a very realistic look but if someone looks from far away it does look cool... Matte feel and less reflective would have been perfect but it ain't too bad at 60% price.

Yeah, it's very eye catching from a distance, but most people who notice it think it's a case design and not the actual phone internals.
