Anyone know how to get the live wallpaper to show up on lockscreen also?
I cant wait for some custom roms this lockscreen is bugging me to death
lol I use a black wallpaper for the phone and the lock screen. Try to save as much battery as possible. Does your live wallpaper make the phone die faster?
I'm using widgetlocker as my lockscreen bro, I think live wallpapers work with it.

does anybody know how to get either/both the grass or dandelions live wallpaper as a regular wallpaper? but please make sure the picture can fit the screen.
Or how about just all the stock Galaxy S wallpapers in a .zip for EF02?
What do you want these for? Just curious...

I'm going to guess so he can set them as his wallpaper...
Why 2 threads? Your other thread already has the only 2 ways to do it that I know of.

i want to get those pics because if i use them as a live wallpaper it will waste a lot of battery, but i really like those wallpapers, so i want it as a regular wallpaper
On launcher pro, set up an extra screen with no shortcuts or dock icons on it, with a transparent dock, and set your home button so it hides the status bar. Run drocap2 and take a screen dump of that blank page, then apply that screen dump as your wallpaper. Set all settings back to normal after.

Had this phone for Two days now and LOVE it. Way better then evo 3d I had. Only issue I have is I struggle to unlock it every time. Maybe the size maybe the touchwiz screen. Either way it makes me crazy. Anyone make a suggestion of a different lock screen that is stable and won't mess up the excellent battery life.
Btw I have no interest in rooting but don't mind buying an app if needed. Also I have no issue with other parts of touchwiz just the lock screen.
I use widget locker. You can set that up any way you'd like. I have the stock aosp lock screen. Does wonders.

Widget locker allows you to customize the lockscreen with a ot of different options. So the AOSP lockscreen is when you slide the icon across to unlock you phone. It is Androids stock lock screen that ships with Android if Samsung or HTC wouldn't add their own.
Agile lock is pretty good too. It gives you a lockscreen similar to sense 3.0

I replaced my stock lock screen with widget locker and haven't experienced any problems (including battery life). It could be that people using widget locker are placing battery intensive widgets on their lockscreen.
Yeah I haven't had any problems with battery life or any slow downs either. This phone handles the battery and speed well. You can set it up however you like, the possibilities are endless. You can even download themes. I just like it so much because I don't have to use the original lock screen for our phone.

Thanks again! I downloaded and have been playing with widget locker and love it so far. Only question I have is ... Is there some way to get rid of the icon in the notification bar that shows widget locker ongoing. I keep thinking there is something I have not checked and it kinda bothers me. Tried to find a setting to get rid if it but no luck. Thanks again

Hi there is a way to have a lockscreen with live wallpapers. Its very easy just rename the LockScreen3.apk to LockScreen3.apk.bak, or just freeze it in titanium backup. I tough I share it if anyone interested. Again have a nandroid backup just in case.
When you first set it it is going to be see-through. The see-through part will go away after restart.

Clever, clever.
Just started a few minutes ago:
- Nova Launcher
- Multi Live Wallpaper
- Most widgets are done in UCCW
- Working on the Voxis Theme
This is gonna take some time.
For now it's setup identical to the way I had my Rezound....
Nova Launcher
UCCW clock and battery widgets

its a build of cyanogenmod but not public yet IIRC
here's mine haha - pretty bare until bootloader unlock makes a reappearance so I can avoid having to set a ton up again...
Wish I was rooted so I could do more...
I followed the ColdFustion example:
Homepage. All of the home screens have rotating wallpaper:
App page (Each box is an app)
Weather and music page:
Library page:
App launcher (since almost everything is hidden on the homescreens, and I don't have a dock)
Another app launcher category so you get an idea of how it works:
In transition between two homepages. The animation is sick:

I'm planning on doing that same setup once I have root. Dont wanna lose anything major when I unlock the first time.
That's nova launcher right?

Yea - It's Nova. You don't need root to do that setup. It's actually amazing how much you can do with a unrooted phone. Even the stupid icons in the status bar don't bother me anymore because I have Nova hide the status bar completely.
No I know I don't need root for that, I just don't want to lose all of my progress when I unlock the bootloader. But yeah you can still do a lot even without root

Very quick when it rained last week.
Figured it out. Gotta add widgets to lock screen. Added the clock and there it is
Sent from my LG-D851 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Works for me without adding widgets. I had the rain and thunderstorm animation show last night.
Same here.. haven't seen lock screen weather animation
Rain and thunderstorms are the only ones that work. Download the modded lock screen from the Zone Rom thread and they will all work.

Hmmm the only one I see is for de-oxed.. Do you know if they have Weather Animation Only for stock rooted?
I've had Beautiful Widgets for a while now. Installed it to my G3 recently and it works great. Night time has star lights.

It works for odex roms. Just replace the file and delete the odex file. I'm using it on stock odex as we speak.
