!ny body have any clue or idea of maybe why several people ive replied to text to tonight didnt get them but somebody else in my contact list did? after i sent the replies they showed up in the native sms app under there first text to me but they didnt get my reply and someone else did. This could be a very dangerous mistake and lead to some sticky situations. im running the latest cyan7 nightly # 186 on my G2. ive been running it bug free for about 3 weeks until tonight......clueless......thanks, veritas

I was on youtube just surfing around looking at different G2 things and I found a video from a WalterJohnson9068 of a rooting program you download and plug your G2 to your computer and in a few clicks the root is done, I wanted to know if anyone else found this, and wanted to ask if it works 100% to root and get s-off like Visionary and others on the Forums.

OOPS, just relised I posted this in the wrong section...sorry guys
its fake btw
Yes, definitely fake. Found this awhile ago and it didn't seem legit. Only a few comments on it and no talk on these forums about it.

checked the comments posted, all from same general people, posting the same video and commenting each other on it, full warning to anyone out there, if it isnt proved on XDA to work, it might be fake........
Yea this is fake.

Ya, but this is kind of a weird topic to search for. "Root," you're gonna get everything.

It would be nice if he worked a little harder on the relationship and leak GB to the delvs. Havent seen him post in ages is he ok?
Someone didn't pay attention as to why SamsungJohn was here . If you want to ask him a question, he's on twitter @samsungjohn

I know hes on Twitter he dosnt reply there either. Just wondering if anyone is able to communicate with him.
In case thread title is not clear, in CM7 the Sprint VVM app I installed tells me "You have No Voicemail Messages" but when I *dial* in to my real voicemail box, I have a lot of "new" messages even though I deleted them earlier using the VVM app.
There. I asked it. This is the "Q&A" section. I have a "Q". Does anyone have a (helpful, non-noob-flaming) "A"?
Because I already tried asking this in the "General" section (see http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1042171 ) but didn't get any love. Maybe someone here is up for the challenge.
(And no, I don't want to "run away!" to Google Voice.)
Apologies if it's been solved somewhere already, but I really did spend a long time googling this and couldn't find a solution.
Thanks in advance..
I would try uninstalling it, reinstalling the app with data to start with, then make sure your voice mail is set to "my carrier."
Thanks for the tip: I uninstalled and started over, only this time ignoring step 10 at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982966 . Works like a charm this time! Mad props to the rocker.
Going to try this now! I have recently also had this issue on the MIUI rom (v1.4.22). Hopefully this works for me as well.

You should've stayed out of this, NxNW. Now look what you've done.

I gotta admit it's a real trip to see these threads pop up, especially because in the mobile app its your own avatar staring back at you and you have *no* idea why until you open it up and see how you've been punked..

Lol, yeah. Believe me, when jshocka did it to me from out of nowhere for the first time, i died laughing.

Kinda painfully to see how much of a noob we all were at one point. Almost like looking at what people wrote in your highschool yearbooks
Nice analogy. I'm just glad I wasnt so noobish that I created a 'what Rom should I use' thread. Well... I didn't create a thread like that on xda.
Hey man all *my* threads were totally legit. You never saw me posting "it said not to flash this GSM ROM but I did anyway and nowz I are br1ck3d HRRM"
hoopty booty...

Jw if anybody knows of a newer apps that has scrollable wallpapers but as in a different picture for each screen. Since EL29 took that out for example multipicture live wallpaper no longer works. I know some roms have fixed it but I just had to get my previous phone replaced which was rooted but Im not gonna root this one just yet I might as well wait for the ICS update whenever that is lol. But Im trying to get my phone like this. http://mycolorscreen.com/2011/12/09/multihome/
Oh ok. Idk why I post here. People only respond if it has to do with rooting. Over 200 views and nothin. My last post either oh well Android central actually helps ppl out

I wouldn't have replied to this thread normally like most people because I just don't know the answer to your question...

Well first off you posted in the wrong section. Then you get annoyed because people don't respond. Maybe they don't know the answer? I wouldn't want a bunch of "no clue" and "I don't know" responses....
Try finding the answer for yourself. Chances are someone has had the same question or problem.

I don't know of one that changes when you scroll but Wallpaper Changer app has options to change wallpaper every time you unlock the phone or you can set it to change every certain amount of minutes that you are able to set

Hey guys I'm on the peoples rom 2 mtd and I just tried to open a pic message from my friend and it took me to the slideshow (blank) thing with the green bar playing etc and then I went back and tried to download the pic and it said there were no attached items. Any ideas? Am I an idiot or is there something wrong? Any help appreciated, thanks in advance for your time!

Does it keep happening or was that the first time?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA
It was the first time and it's pretty weird because I had him send it to me again and it was just fine. The first one's still just a bubble saying <Subject:New Message>
It might have been a mistake on his end but I'm a complete 'noob' at this stuff lol.

My guess is it is a Sprint error. They are probably doing network maintenance.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using xda premium
Or you opened the message before it was finished downloading and for whatever reason the MMS failed to download properly.
Has happened to me a few times on stock eclair, froyo and GB. I think it's 100% a network issue.
Whatever it was I'm just glad nothings screwed up. Definitely a first time though.
I'll check it out every once in a while just in case
Thanks everybody and sorry if I wasted anybody's time lol
