You have to use the unbricking guide, or you can just flash one of the gb CWM rom's in this forum. Tell me what you have now and how stock you want to be?
In regards to 2g the only way I know of is gb is to dial this in the phone app: *#*#INFO#*#* and then select phone information then there should be a menu down at the bottom that would allow you to select GSM (2g) only.

The reboot issues is an hardware defect issue. Most ops that seem to have this issue are ones that have purchased through ebay, amazon, or other Internet site. Those that have purchased through official means usually get it taken care of through the phone company as a warranty issue. How did you aquire yours as reboot issues are not normal, unless you are running cm10 of course? If your was purchased through your phone company I would have them do a warranty exchange.

When did the reboot issues start? Was it with first root? After unbricking? I am trying to determine if it's a software or hardware issue.

The only app that cannot be uninstalled is Google Play movies, you will get a security error. Out of all ROMs the stock ones are going to the most stable. If you don't care about installing different ROMs I would suggest installing v20c from the KDZ to return 100% stock root that and then use an app like titanium backup to uninstall unwanted apps (not Google movies of course, okay to freeze).

You know what I just remembered that you said that you were on Glory Rom which is based on P936 v20c and the LG support tool may not think you need to upgrade. Download and run the v18f exe from the unbrick guide then use the LG support tool.

I wasn't talking about starting over with the unbricking guide but installing the leaked ICS v18f which is at the start of the unbricking guide. One you are on v18f the LG support tool will see that you need to upgrade and automatically upgrade your phone to AT&T's v20c.

Hi Guys,
First time poster!
My father has been given an SE ARC as a gift from a friend. The handset is not unlocked. Im thinking about sticking a ROM on there so i can get the latest version of Android for him.
If i ROM the handset will this remove the need to have an unlocking code?
Thanks
Darren
You have to get access to the phone proper before you install any ROM. These include some settings on your phone to allow various steps you need to root and install a custom ROM

I can get into the phone by using the SIM card it came with, the only time i get issues is when i use a SIM from a network provider.

HI guys,
I came across this korean website blog.naver.com/PostView.nhn?blogId=dlrbdnjs10&logNo=10168561431, I wonder if I could flash this after unlocking bootloader with FreeGee?
I am on E97510f-SEA-XX, would FreeGee be able to unlock this bootloader?
Thanks!
Unlock device with FreeGee.
Place the rom and gapp's at the root of the internal SD card.
Reboot into recovery, by pressing the volume button up and holding the power button down at the same time.
Do a nandroid/backup!!!
Do a factory reset.
Wipe cache.
Wipe Dalvik cache in advanced options.
Then head into mounts an storage.
Format system.
Format data.
Format cache.
Then go into the install menu, flash the rom and gapp's.
Remember to do yet another factory reset, before you reboot!!!
Check this out... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1842 and this... http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1843
I actually know the steps/procedure.
What i am unsure is 1) whether FreeGee can unlock this version of mine. 2) if i could flash the liquid smooth rom (notice no one posted it on Android Development sub-forum
Thanks man
Oh okey
This site is down for a few hours, but check it out when it's up and running again... http://lap.so/vbfe
There you will find liquid rom and carbon rom, for our device (e975) plus a few others and they do work
And by the way if you have the e975 version, you will be able to use Freegee to unlock device
I recommend yu nt to format system/boot on safer side.....!! also run freegee once to unlock the bootloader and take a backup of the freegee files to lappy/pc.... It may help yu at some tym im future....,!!

Well, i agree... But as he stated before, he knows all of this.
His actuel question was, would Freegee be compatible with the lgog e975 europe version...
And if yes, would he be able to flash this rom he came across at some site.

@hasan4791 have u flashed custom rom on ur E975?
If you follow the steps we mentioned before, to the letter,
then yes, you can flash any compatible rom.
However, if you don't feel confident enough doing this,
then i would adwise you to, go trough the more detailed guidelines/discriptiones.
If you look hard enough, you will find these guidelines posted here, in this same general section,
that you posted this thread.
Good luck unlocking/flashing

a few more questions.
- what is the difference between the free and paid version of FreeGee in playstore? The free version will unlock too right?
- will Houcha kernel (forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2246152) work with liquid smooth?
No difference.the paid version is maid so we can support the devs.i bought it just for that.consider it a donation to shelnutt2.
About houcha kernel,i'm not sure, but if liquidsmooth source is official cm10.1,then it won't work.different sources,cm is based on lg's source, while houcha is based on a modifies nexus4(mako) source.so it won't work.

There is most likely a custom recovery on the phone - either CWM or TWRP, as that is most likely how the custom rom was installed.
to set it back to stock you will need to use a computer and flash the FTF files for the stock Bell rom. This will also set the recovery back to stock as well. It should be available on the stock rom thread for download and I think you should be able to find instructions on how to revert to stock somewhere in the forums.
You do NOT need to unlock the bootloader to do this, but you do need a PC.
P.S. You mention you don't want to root...but your name indicates otherwise....

Hello, i have 2 questions before installing this rom on my unlocked AT&T htc one m8.
1. can i put the rom on my external micro sd card, and not in virtual SD card, so i can flash it from the external sd card.
2. Most important, I got my htc one m8 from AT&T in the U.S, but i unlocked it, and put viper rom on it. and i'm using it in europe.
Now i want to try this rom, but i missing important info:
In the install process, can i chose "htc one (internional)" - As i using this in EU, and not the second option? (U.S AT&T).
Or this is not recommended, and might hurt my device?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards

For question 1 yes you can install it from ext-sd but internal sd is safe. Also you can try from usb-otg.
For qs-2 It wont hurt your device. If you are supercid you can choose any one you like. But I would recommend that you try the international option.Best of luck in flashing.
