Anyone know of a way to load your own PRL yet? - Samsung Epic 4G Touch

Got my MSL from sprint but the ##PRL# method I used on the evo doesn't work, and this method for the epic:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1145111&page=3
I can't try because it doesn't look like samsung has released the right drivers yet.
Any other ideas?
I need to make sure I can get a signal in a specific location with a specific PRL before deciding to keep the phone lol

Epic method will work. Just need the updated drivers.

As a former Epic 4G user, I hope you are correct. Our dev section was and is a bit of a wasteland. We had very few ROM updates from Sprint and were it not for Samfirmware, we still would not have Gingerbread.

As far as I can tell by examining the install script, this is not a permanent install.
Everytime you reboot, it will go back to the original CWM and you will have to run the install again to get this recovery.

Yes, pack it into a stock kernel and flash/install the resulting kernel.

VM Galaxy S2 on GB28 Cant get MSL

I have been attempting to get my MSL. I have a Galaxy S2 on Virgin Mobile USA. It is running JB GB28. The MSL is no longer stored in ril.MSL. Also I have tried using CatLog with SU permission and entering a random 6 digit code for the MSL. It seems Samsung has prevented the MSL from showing up in the logs like it used to. Any help? I really dont want to have to downgrade from JB just to get my MSL. BTW VM has said they will not give it to me.
