[Q] myns 2.2 theme (request) - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

I used to own the Inc, and i fell in love with Myn's warm 2.2. Is there any hope of a 2.2 theme, or a rom? I Feel as if every rom thats being uploaded is either a sense 3.0 or 3.5 theme now. It has gotten kind of boring and i miss the variety of the original Incredible. Thanks!

If you want to run Sense 2.1, then you can have the WarmZ theme. I did it when I first got my DInc2 ... It was a pain, but I managed to get it themed correctly, but its only for Sense 2.1

[Q] Help me find a fitting ROM please

Hey guys,
I'm looking to put a ROM on my phone, but I have no idea which is the best one for me.
I really require 2 things on it:
1) It must have the Desire Flip Clock
2)It must be Sense Based (I'm a huge Sense fan)
I saw the SkyRaider 3.5, and it has Hulu too, and that would be nice to have as well.
Should I go SkyRaider?
Any input would be appreciated...thanks!
Nils Business Sense is pretty groovy! I tried that for a while till CM7 started up.
Try Super Z it is a sense rom and it is pretty stable. I been running it for the past 2 weeks without any fc.

I second this.
My view may be skewed since the only ROM I've tried so far is skyraider 3.5 but I wanted to keep sense too, and after trying skyraider I fell in love. I haven't used hulu extensively but it does work. My vote would be for skyraider
Any rom that gives you what you need and remains stable. Im runnin re engineered z, some get fcs on it and prefer warm z. My point is, if u like sense, try a z rom, if you like aosp, cm7 is the best by far imo, maybe the most stable rom out there and very customizable. The point of rooting is to see what your phone is capable of and to try new things. So go out there n have fun! The devs are awesome, so start experimenting!
Wipe it before you flash it and flush it after you wipe it!
Well I tried SkyRaider...Getting Piss poor Quadrant numbers...
I would do CM, but I really love Sense too much to get rid of it.
I'll give Super Z a chance in a little while...I need better Quadrant numbers than 1037
I would also recommend Super Z for any Sense based ROM. I myself will have a hard time finding a new option once my SkyRaider Athena(+ senseless) get old.

[Q] wanting some ROM input...

i just wanted some input on a few roms......currently i am running incrom 1.6 but i have cyanogenmod7, warm z twopointtwo, redemption rom 2.4 and skyraider 4.0 all installed on my sd card and i flip back and forth between all of them and can't seem to decide on which to stay with. any input on which you would choose and why would be greatly appreciated!!!!
thanks
Depends. If you like the look and feel of AOSP, go look at OMGB. It's stock Gingerbread. If you like AOSP but want more customization, CM7 or OMFGB. They are both AOSP Gingerbread but both have their own sets of customization options. On the other hand, if you like Sense UI, the Stock Sense 2.0 ROM is good for a good stock look, and it has Sense 2.0 instead of 1.0. If you like themes and mods, Warm Z is becoming good at that, with add-ons that you can flash to change the look. SkyRaider 4.0 is the best Sense ROM that has a ton of customization built in. If you want MODs on the fly with Sense, SR4 is for you. All the other ones based off stock Incredible Sense 1.0 framework are good, but if you are looking more for speed, the Sense 2.0 ones are the best at that. I run CM7 because I like customization and AOSP Gingerbread. I run invisiblek's kernel usually because they play the best with my phone and battery. I'm also trying out the HAVS MOD right now, but I wouldn't unless you know what you're doing. Hope this helped. I'll post the links to all the ROMs I mentioned below.
SkyRaider 4.0 by ihtfp69
Warm Z by incubus26jc
Stock Sense 2.0 by incubus26jc
CM7 by the CyanogenMod team
OMGB by r2DoesInc
OMFGB by r2DoesInc
I personally have an affinity for I CM7 . I more or less was doing what you are describing except with ROMS, Kernels, and Radios all at the same time ( damn new bricked my phone on a few lol ) . So far CM7 has been the most stable for me and has been the most "friendly" to use. However, what you are asking is hard to answer. It's like "What is my favorite food?" . You know that better than we will . In the end, just pick something that has everything you need and just leave it alone lol
AOSP roms: CM7, OM(F)GB, Salvage Mod. I love CM7, and Salvage looks promising too. Never really used OM(F)GB
Sense: Skyraider 4 suits me best, but I like Warm Z and Incredibly Re-Engineered (Z and Evo) too.
OMGB 112
I've flashed numerous roms, but have found that
OMGB 112 revolutionized my Incredible. With Chad's kernel,
it gets decent battery life and is fast fast fast. No issues
of any kind. If you're tired of the stock look, backup your
stuff and then flash OMGB. Use Clockwork 3008 and wipe
everything twice. After it boots up, power down and do a factory
re-set in Recovery. Now your Incredible is Really Incredible.
I like CM7 (nightlies) and IncRom, personally. CM7 has such a great community, and I found myself using adw launcher with sense, so I actually prefer the look of it to sense (I hate that you are stucj with 7 screens. I like to run 2-3, depending on my setup). The only downside is no 720 video, which is why I have a nandroid of incrom. In addition, IncRom has the most appealing and finished looking theme of any ROM I have tried.

Which Sense ROM has shiny new things but also closest to stock?

Back in the day with WinMo I loved MightyROM because he made an awesome ROM but mostly left the look and feel of stock. He didn't mess with a ton of stuff just because he could and I always appreciated that because it was rock stable. I rely heavily on my phone for business, it must be stable for all the things I use it for. I see the new "official" leak for Gingerbread and I want to give it a shot but I see these other ROMs that are now popping up thanks to the leaked kernel/libraries/whatever. They have higher versions of Sense (which I rely heavily on) and it makes me debate should I jump past the leak? So my question is this:
Which ROM past the modified Sense 1.0 in the official leak retains the most stability combined with new Sense updates? Even though 3.0 is available I'd be happy with the 2.1 that my wife is now rocking on her EVO Shift via another official leak. Which of these is a proper port from a phone with almost identical hardware, etc., so I know it's going to work flawlessly?
Skyrader is a sense ROM with lots of cool stuff from CM7.
Uber stable to.
I second the SkyRaider nomination. His ROMs have always been stable in my experiences. SR 2.5.2 (I believe it was that version?) was the first ROM I actually ever flashed lol.
Sent from my Droid Incredible running CM7.0.3.
I agree Skyraider! It is heavily themed Sense 1.0 so it looks sweet, has tons of customization and has the stability of stock. I have flashed all the new Sense 2, 2.1 and 3.0 roms but I always come back to Skyraider.

I have been using Gingerbread Remix, its a beta but extremely stable. It's based on sense 2.1 but has sense 3.0 features like the lockscreen.
Skyraider looks like it's still Froyo though, if I'm going to go through the hassle of re-setting up my device I'd rather do it with actual gingerbread, not just themed gingerbread.
well, then you're gona have to look at the very few gingerbread roms out there since it's brand new. there's some in the development section that are PLAIN stock gingerbread sense; then there are some that are themed. i'm on optimized gingersense right now which seems real nice, and root is uploading a new release now that includes some sense 3 goodies, so you might wanna look into that.
I'm on Gingersense remix by wdfowty. It's sense 2.1 but with all the nice sense 3 features that you would want. Lockscreen, message and phone apps.

I've been loving SR 4.0 with Lous #8...but i recently moved over to the Uber kingdom rom and I'm hooked. It has so much potential...wouldnt quite recommend it for a daily driver yet unless you are the patient type
Stock Kingdom is pretty solid now that it's in alpha 2. Only issue I've had is with Rosie, so I just installed launcher pro. Problem solved.

+1..
This rom is amazing. Give it a shot, you won't regret it!
Do any of them have any issues with Exchange activesync?
+1 with GingerSense RmX, great ROM, great Sense 3.0 integration, stable as can be, only problems I've had with it are related to MMS but that's cause I didn't wipe before the update :/
I'm also running the GingerSense ReMix Rom, they just released beta 3 today, its been very stable for me. Just keep in mind its still beta.

None that I have found yet... I have flashed newtoroots and Wdfowty's sense 2.1 Roms.
I run sky raider as my daily. If you are looking for something to set up and run for a while, I'd go with sky raider 4.0. You commented about not wanting to reset everything up. The Ginger sense ports are betas and each release requires full wipe.
SR 4.0 is currently the most stable feature packed sense rom. Waiting for ports or leaked gb builds to get more stable then ill switch. Would love a skyraider rom based on the Inc Gb leak¡!
I am using the Stock Plus v3.01 ROM and loving it.
I must admit though, the only reason I am using it because I love HTCs voice recognition keyboard and I didn't know how to get that into CM7 on my Droid Incredible!

Most popular Dinc ROMs/Themes?

I have a Samsung Fascinate, but a friend of mine just rooted his Dinc. I've glanced around these forums, seen a little, but your theme section is a bit cluttered... what are the popular ROMs and Themes for this phone?

As for ROMs, I recommend the "Uber" series of ROMs, as well as CM7 or MIUI. Of course, just because I'm partial to the Uber ROMs doesn't mean there aren't other ROMs out there, look around until your friend finds one he likes
Is Uber around stock? (Fasc has Touchwiz and superclean; what is it for you, Sense?) I know of CM7, and he would reeeeeally hate MIUI.
Uber Gingersense 2.1/3.0 is around stock, but with improvements. some issues due to beta stages but coming along nicely. Sense is stock for us, yes

As far as debloated stock rom goes. We have a great one by jaykresge
Liberation
It has some mods, but I haven't seen any recent themes for Sense 1.0 that ships with the Inc.
Aside from CM7 (I'm jealous on how well yours works, btw), what's your most themed ROM? Just to give him colorful options.

As far as sense ROM's go, any of the new ROM's based on Sense 2.1 should be able to use skins. I've used these on some of the new gingersense roms with 2.1/3.0 hybrids. Works just fine.
Skins for HTC Sense 2.1 roms
Whoa, you guys can run skins? Whaaaaat? That's awesome!

TBH, I think MIUI with LauncherPro or GO Launcher EX (both free in the Market, LauncherPro Plus is I think $5) is the most skinnable. There are LOADS of MIUI themes, and it can use all the AOSP kernels and it's rock solid stable to boot
my personal favorites
Froyo Roms:
Redemptive rEVOlution
Incredibly Re-Engineered
also liking the new Nils Business GingerSense...pretty stable for me so far.
Looking forward to the doubleshot and sense 3.0 roms that are in various stages of alpha and beta testing. I've tried them and still too buggy for me
Look up the theme "honeycream" its in the market and it works with cm7's built in theme chooser, its a great looking theme and i highly suggest it.

As for a blue style honeycomb theme, this one is pretty good, not to brag of course XD
Looks like he wants to wait for the 2.3 update... you guys got any themes for stock? (Sorry to ask. Fasc, someone put a list together, it's muuuuuch easier.)

Pure sense 2.0 rom.

I want a basic sense 2.0 rom. Where everything works. Recommendations? AOSP is my first joy, now i wanna explore sense. :-D
Sent from my Incredible using XDA App
Why stop at 2.0, jump into Newtoroots Hybrid sense 3.0. Also check out Nils business sense 2.1 with som 3.0 mixed in.
I tried MIUI for the first time (1st AOSP rom ever for me). I'm liking it alot.

try warm z twopointwo and use my stock theme if you want it stock found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1033311 or try any of the roms in my signature they're pretty much stock
I would try Incubus Stock 2.0: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1052613
I've been using it for almost a month now and I love it. It's solid and stable, and to me...better than SR 4.0.
One of the things I really love about his ROM is that he didn't remove the HTC hub, and everything from the HTC hub works on the ROM except the widgets section and a couple addons. All themes/skins, sounds, and wallpapers on the hub work.
I've been trying out a few other Sense 2.0 ROMs with the DualRom X2 and I always keep coming back to Incubus Stock 2.0
thanks guys, but totally unrelated. i cant get any of the OMFGB nightlies to flash at all. they just boot loop, and loop and loop
I would agree, Warm Z 2.2 is pretty slick. I am currently running their Synergy Nightlies which hopefully soon will become 2.3. Sense 3.0 is great, i mainly use it for the kick-a$$ lock screen. The rest kinda gets covered with Luancher Pro that i run. The nightlies have their share of bugs, but are nearly there.
