Copy the "TouchWix30Launcher.apk" & "TouchWix30Launcher.odex" files to "/system/app" folder using any root file manager & set root permissions (for both the files) as rw-r--r--.
Must work, as I also had the same issue yesterday & solved using the same method...

All of a sudden I kept getting force closes when trying to open up MMS app. I uninstalled the app using Titanium Backup. I am now trying to install the app again using Astro File Manager and also tried using Appinstaller. I copied the MMS.apk from the original Bonsai 4.0 zip file on my computer to my SD card.
When trying to install .apk with Astro I keep getting application not installed error.
Can someone give me a good MMS.apk I can install and also let me know if I need to install the .apk a different way.
I am running Bonsai 4.0

Do I have to use "root explorer" I used astro explorer and placed the .apk into the system/app and nothing changed. I rebooted the phone and still nothing.
Any other suggestions would greatly help.. I need my text back.
Remember to use the original name of the app
For example if the name if the app is a.apk and you rename it to b.apk it won't work

Have you tried just flashing one of the mms apks from the transparent collection on this forum? Not sure if you WANT transparent, but I had a similar problem to yours, and I just went with the transparent ones and it worked for me. And I got some pretty colors to boot.

Anytime someone says to use root explorer, i use Super Manager. Its free, has root functions and can mount /system r/w.
Noob Questions:
1. I was on VeNuM 6.0 (ICS) and used widget that I think was called photo gallery. It was a picture widget that had four pictures stacked over one another. If you swiped the top picture it would rotate through the pictures. Would anybody be able to give me the file name and extension? I searched the Market but I could not find it.
2. Can I extract it from the ROM and install it on the new ROM (Wicked) I am currently using?
I understand if it was a .apk I can use 7zip and copy it then use Root Explorer to copy it into the correct file. Correct?
Thank you in advance.
Yea that should work. Extract it from the rom and then push it to /system/app with rw-r--r-- permissions and reboot.

What your looking for is the aosp gallery. It is in all of agats roms. All i had to do was push it into system apps as gallery2. Then it will install the widget as well.

If you have your ROM on your SD card, try using a file explorer and extract the settings from your ROM.zip.
After that, just replace it where it should be(where you deleted it). I have no idea it it's gonna work but give it a try . Be sure to reboot after you
replaced it.
Actually I m running on stock firmware by Sony I have no Rom installed

Settings.apk from Stock MK16 ROM
Ah, I also had my settings.apk missing recently, in my case it's caused by v6 faulty zipaligning though
Here you go settings.apk fresh from MK16 stock ROM
Copy to /system/app and set the correct permission (644) and you should be good to go
Eh, usual disclaimer: it works for me, I don't take any responsibility if something happened with your phone)
Edit: Just seen screenshot on the OP, it is from settings.apk! what you've been missing is semcsettings.apk, I uploaded that also.
I'm working on updating to 4.4 but my back up of SPR_Skyfire_toolbar.apk is
Corrupt or something and won't flash. Can anyone send me a link / copy? Thanks!
