I've just flashed the new radio listed here

Radio: 12.62.60.27U_26.13.04.19_M
RIL: HTC-RIL 2.2.0.0179HM
So I flashed the ROM with the RIL mentioned in the first post... unfortunately I'm unable to post it on the same thread as this is my first post.
Ever since flashing that Radio & RIL, my "E" has turned to a "G" so I know I have internet connectivity, just that its GPRS and not EDGE. I'm on Virtuous Unity 2.35.
Any inputs would be appreciated.

Same thing happened to me .... if you go back to the old radio it would work fine... there is some bug in the new radio , it sometimes changes to E but if u surf the net then changes back to G

no edge connectivity
hey guys. i faced a similar problem today after rooting my dhd and installing the primo-s v3.5 rom. after the installation was completed, it showed i had EDGE connectivity, but after a system restart it turned to GPRS. i haven't been able to confirm whether there is a drop in connection speed, but it is bothering me a lot. i even restored the original APN settings but to no avail. any suggestions to rectify it?

Hi chaps - forgive my inexperience ! I have gone to WM6 and seem to be having wifi 'dropping connection' issues - it seems to happen when the unit sleeps - when I reawaken its connection is lost and the wifi icon in the settings / connections has GONE and I have to restart. I'm also running 'Easy wifi Radar' and it comes up with an error: Exception code oxeo6d7363 address oxo3f91e7c (I don't know if this has anything to do with the problem) Any advice would be much appreciated. Reinstall the ROM or modifed ROM... I think that a solution..
Thanks Arvani - you guys will have to forgive my ignorance but, after doing a search, why are there all these variations of ROM and debates and polls about which is the most stable etc ? Why should the WM6 I downloaded from the HTC site yesterday not be the best for an HTC device and why are there problems with it - again please forgive my naivety. Best Roger

I've noticed that my phone (DIAM130, running donsalari's rom with xdandroid 03.05.10) has been freezing occasionally when I receive calls. I don't know how much research has been done on this, but does anybody know whether a different radio version will help either with freezing or performance generally? I was running v1.15.25.14, I've just flashed it to v1.09.25.23.

i use radio 1.17.25.9 and i'm not having any freezes or problem apart of camera and gps...i'm using latest 2.1 bulid
First of all Hi to everyone. I have a problem with the latest build (the one from 13.06 - i believe it is the latest). This is the first time I install Android on TP2. I also installed Android on Touch Diamond but there I had no problems.
Now I will line up my problems:
1. I get the splash screen for 30 or more minutes - it is resolved now after deleting data.img and restarting.
2. I do not have network signal (I am on Orange), wi-fi or sound. If you can tell me what is wrong it would be of great help for me.

Sorry if I posted wrong here, I am kind of new to this forum.
Me again. So I read on the forum about the second problem. The sound (in speaker) still does not work in this build. Regarding the network signal i had an extra line in my startup.txt (force cdma). After I removed it everything went fine. About the wi-fi problem it seem to be a WEP encryption issue.
Sorry again for starting a new post, maybe someone will find it usefull after all.

hi guys, i used leedroid latest ROM & Neophyte's latest & other custom ROMs.... but with all these ROMs i cannot connect to 3G/GPRS because my desire doesnt retrieve automatic configuration from the network....
BUT--- when i used CM nightly build latest, it retrieves network settings automatically, & i am ready to surf the internet the very next moment i install the ROM....infact the H icon appears immediately when i am still looking at the screen & thinking what r the changes,after flashing a ROM..... i am amused by this strange thing with all other ROMs except CM nightly build...
is there anyone who know what .apk is responsible for retrieving those settings from the network in custom ROMs ??? how can i rectify this issue with rest of ROMs as i like the interface of rest of custom ROMs, i am desperate to try out different things....
please anyone here guide me/ suggest me a solution pls.....
I recently installed MIUI 1.7.1 on my t-mo DEFY and everything worked perfectly until I noticed that my 3g wasn't working. I looked around for a solution but only found some threads concerning no 3g on froyo but not GB. I tried one solution using HandlerExploit's method and the one suggested by Rob-t here:

but neither of them worked and just left me on a boot loop. If anyone has any suggestions/advice I would greatly appreciate it. Or has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? Thanks
What do you mean 3g isnt working at me it works flawless i have an sim wichi main reason is internet i usualy get hsdpa signal but in some places i get just 3g i tested today before posting and the internet worked great are you sure you changed the defys baseband after instaling the miui rom ? and try deleting dalvik chache first
P.S. i atached the apk i used for the baseband try changin it to your countrys baseband or chose the uk some says that uk one is the best
