is there a bada 2.0 version with hebrew language?
i think it will be in the offical verison... I saw at the emulator of the SDK , in the settings of languages, the hebrew option was there... so i hope there will be!

i dont know and i dont think so... i dont upgrade because i need hebrew too . it probably will be at the offical verison i hope...
there isn't hebrew at all maybe after a half mounth after the offical release someone will figer hot to add and chenge languish but for now there is no hebrew and the offical hebrew will be the early less 6 mounths after the first offical releass and update of bada 2.0.1
by the way when will be the official release of 2.0? in 1 october and how are appearing games in samsungapps if you cant make anymore with 2.0 for wqvga?

the one you will get from your opreator will have hebrew but thes firmware full of "little" bugs and also it is an unofficial version so you can't update
here is the irony samsung it self release a unofficial firmware hehe
but it became like this because the agrement with the operators in israel with samsung israel (sany) so you can't update from the kies
and it is very but very stupid to do to update firmware for free it is part of the support and part of the warrentry so why the hell to do such a idoidic thing

Hi folks,
I was wondering if anyone has the _phone.bin file containing the i780XKHA3 phone ROM for the Samsung i780.
I was just like reflashing it to the original shipped version, since I now have i780XIHA7 as the phone version and I have no idea if that is ok to have alongside my original XKHA3 PDA part.

AFAIK, at the moment the only complte rom available on the net are the italian HA7 an the English HC4.
BTW the ha7 phone has saved from the trubles hundreds of users from england to singapore, so no I guess no problem in holland too.
At th moment Im using the HC4 phone with the HC1 (italian) PDA and all is smooth.
anywhere i can find the ha7 phone? haha or before you update your rom could u dump it so we can revert back once we make all the changes we all like to make?

Problem with upgrade with official updater(i780_PDXHLA2)
hi, I have made mistake too,
Upgraded my i780 with i780_PBVHK1 rom (all PDA and Phone).
Now I am trying to upgrade with official updater(i780_PDXHLA2), it always give error version....
Anyone can help me so I can update my i780 to offical updater?

You can use "BVHF1" as the SGH-i780 Version. It also has a link for the samsung drivers for windows vista. Down below there is a button "View In Detail" beside [ Upgrade Instructions ], if you try to look at the screenshots, it says SHG-i780 6.1 OS Updater on the title bar.
According to some forums and reputable websites it is the official 6.1 upgrade for the i780 but the problem is it is only for Italy, Nordic and UK. I'm wondering if it is compatible with the asian versions of the i780. Is there a difference with the physical keyboard?
I guess it's not that important anymore since Windows Mobile 6.5 will be released sometime Q3/Q4 of this year. There are phones already manufactured for WM6.5 and pictures are already out in the internet. I'm not sure if it's legit but looks like they are. At least there's an official WM6.1 update for i780.

It is possible to flash Orange Rom
You have to Hex edit official rom with the country/operator specific code of your current rom. That way, when you are flashing Orange rom it will think that you have the future version of you current rom and it will not complaint.
Search forum. You may use Hxd (use this as a keyword for search) editor or another hex editor.
I used Orange rom for a while. It has improved battery life over V5X HH5 (EFN Rom) however no messenger and other preloaded goodies of v5x hh5.
BTW there is a newer (official) version than the orange rom. Just peek at newer threads.

I bought mine unlocked off of expansys, and therefore the stupid update download tells me it's the wrong version. If I flash it with the Orange rom, will I have problems with sim locking or anything? I hope the installer doesn't have the same restrictions.

You may flash with the Orange rom or never HL1 or HL2 rom. Updater is available here on forum for these roms. Like I said before you will need to hex edit rom files to be able to flash. Or, as an alternative, you may flash one of the "modded" versions of those roms (bin files) with mirage updater (mirage does not check any code), then update with the original updater because updater will think that you are upgrading from the same operatoır/country code.
BTW you wont have any problems with sim or device lock. Mine was a generic unbranded WWE rom and updated/tried all these roms and did now have any lock problems.

my version is i780jchb1 (south africa). Can I install the UK rom on it please??
My OS is in Danish so i tried the link and chose Nordic, then it wants me to put in the phone model, so i do that and then it takes me to the official samsung page (samsungmobile.com) where the only thing i can download is the manual and activesync for windows 2k/xp.

Oh no! I'm just finished reconfiguring everything since the last upgrade about a month ago...
I hope this update isn't necessary. I hope it's not a major bug that will render my diamond useless if I skip this update.
The changelog is the same as for the previous 2.03 rom, they must have messed something up with the previous file

The German version 2.03.407.3 fixes a bug which came along with .2: The network settings wizard was broken with E-Plus and it's brands and resellers. With .3, the settings for E-Plus, Base, Blau etc. are fixed and work again as they should.

This is the austrian Motorola Support Software Update site. I assume, there should be an hungarian site too.
If you have started you phone with blur, you can do an official upgrade with FOTA.
If you want to upgrade your phone to Froyo, you should first read a lot about flashing, backup (with Nandroid). You can start here. If you speak german, you find the information here.
The 3.4.2-155 (CEE) ROM has definitely NOT installed hungarian. Please ask in the Subthreads, if they could change the language to hungarian.
the language doesn't matter, it's perfectly fine for me in english. i was just worrying if there were any other differences between the 2 softwares?

You can choose UK version, because HU there isn't in the list. But don't worry about that the update sw will install the right official fw to your phone (2.51.1 CEE).

i cant update with samsung kies because it tell me that there isnt any update....
i want to update to bada 1.2 european rom(i live in portugal) and with a rom that have portuguese language because this kor rom just have english/french/asian languages

well with multiloader i installed bada 2.0 european version(last one on samsfirm) but there is a problem in the sms... i received sms and the sender name doesnt appear, only the number, even if he is on my contact list....
i installed bada 1.2 european and still the same problem....
i get back to bada 1.0 arabic version and now the problem with the sms is fixed....
so what is the problem?? why cant i use bada 2.0 or 1.2 european version on this phone with sms correctly being display... this is very strange...

As you live in Portugal, you may prefer a firmware for Portugal. If so, choose a firmware with the OXC csc. (OXC csc is for Spain, Greece and Portugal. After installing, go to Pre-Configuration setting and select the correct csc for Portugal (I think it is TPH).
You can always upgrade to bada 2.0 whenever it is available (hopefully in October, or maybe next; Samsung never keep to their promised dates).

No. You cannot. And it makes no sense in trying a csc from Arabia bada 1.0 in a bada 2.0 firmware for Europe.
If you choose to flash with the bada 2.0 beta firmware, download a complete firmware from samfirmware.com for bada 2.0 and flash with the complete package.
In case you need to replace the csc file therein with aany particular csc, you need to modify that yourself. There lots of tutorials for creating your own csc for bada 2.0 beta firmware.
