i want to install the last SDK to develop apps to wp7 but dont want to download from

Hello i want to install the last SDK to develop apps to wp7 but dont want to download from Microsoft , because it doesnt give me the full install exe and my laptop wen installing overheats and rebboots anyone can give me a link were i can download the las SDK to download please?

You should have read a little bit more carefully at the sdk download page: download WP SDK 7.1 - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details
Instructions
If a pre-release version of the Windows Phone SDK 7.1 (Beta or RC) is installed on the machine, please uninstall it before installing this product.
Click on the vm_web2.exe file in the download section above. This will start the installation of Windows Phone SDK 7.1 and install necessary components on your computer.
Please refer to the Release Notes in the download section above for additional details before running setup.
Note: this release is also available in .iso format.
Choose one of the following options for handling downloaded ISO images:
•(Recommended) Write the image file to a blank DVD.
•(Alternative) Mount the image file virtually as DVD devices.
For more information about these options, see "What are ISO image files and how do I use them?" on the FAQ page.

Node js on windows RT

I don't have permission to post thread in the development related forums. Hopes someone can add it to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2092348
I have ported nodejs(0.9.7-pre) to windows RT.
And here are some issues which will affect the performance:
1.Snapshot hasn't been used.
2. V8 uses some assembly code for arm, but it's just for linux and gcc.
So currently simulator is used when executing javascript code.

Awesome - this will come in handy for testing JS code while I'm away from my main machine. I believe someone was requesting Node.js on page 11 of the Desktop apps ported to Windows RT thread, but I cannot yet post their either.

Very nice! I think it's actually possible to get V8 running on RT - I've been working on it as part of porting Chromium - but it might be easier to just use the interpreter for now anyhow.

This actually works better than I ever imagined.
Even the crazy HTTPS-Stuff works pretty well (Client authentication).
No Need for V8 for my 20 lines of code anyway...

I got a Windows RT 8.1 Surface for a trip I am taking, but in my down time, I would like to run Node.js.
I downloaded the Zip file above, unzipped it in a folder.
doubleClicking on it throws this error:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for this file. A recent hardware or software change might ahve installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source".
When I run node.exe from a command line I get:
"The system cannot execute the specified program."
I have turned off UAC. What am I doing wrong?

You answered it yourself. You require the jailbreak to run this. RT 8.1 doesnt have a jailbreak.

Could be possible to get latest Node.js release compiled please?

[Request] Need 4 cabs in order to upgrade to 10586 offline

Hello everyone in xda
You may have seen my video on YouTube, and now I want to upgrade my Lumia 650XL Honjo (Yes, the prototype model, from RM-1155 to RM-1158) to Windows 10 Mobile Build 10586 from the buggy Windows MobileCore 10 Build 10120/10160. I can't search any update by modifying models to Lumia 650 and using Windows Insider, so I want to use iutool to upgrade it. Right now, with 4 required cab missing, I can't upgrade my Honjo. These 4 files are:
microsoft.8909.devicelayout_prod.spkr_***.cab
microsoft.devicelayout_qc8909.mainos.spkg_***.cab
microsoft.soc_qc8909.mainos.spkg_***.cab
microsoft.soc_qc8909.updateos.spkg_***.cab
(*** means its SHA1 that I don't know)
If any other required MSM8909 specified files needed, plz provide it too, just its direct link from Microsoft Update Server or attachments.
If it's convenient for you, you can provide another files such as microsoft.mainos.production_res_720x1280.spkg_***.cab.
BTW, if you have a better way to upgrade my prototype, plz let me know.

could you before you do that send me the xaps and appxes from the xaps folder and also send me some app list screenhots

Prototypes are unupgradable thru OTA, means using CAB files too.

However, I've heard some guys' Lumia McLaren (prototype model too) could be upgrade to Windows 10 Mobile by modifying models, though risky.
So I think it's possible on Honjo too.

Can I obtain Microsoft OEM .XAP .APPX files? where to start?

I need to obtain the APPX files (APPX and XAP would be better) for apps pre-installed on windows phone 10 , (8.1 & 10 would be better).
The usual stuff calculator, camera etc etc
I have access to numerous models, Is it possible to copy them from the device or obtain them from elsewhere?
I have scoured MS website's with no luck.
Any pointers would be gratefully received !

If you can access your file system fully, they should be in C:\Programs\Common Files

So I would use InterOp to fully access the OS ?
I haven't used it before but did see a link to it on this site.

Yeah that's necessary

example:

Is this syntax correct please?
I am trying to install the .xap using windeployapp, the phone is in developer mode and is set to discoverable
I keep getting what I this are syntax errors as it keeps displaying the help screen
I have tried this using IP and GUID I also tried the switch -GUID and -g for GUID also install path with and without quotes.

WinAppDeployCmd.exe only for Win10 apps.
AppDeploy.exe (SDK 8.1) for Xap 8.1, appx 8.1, appxbundle 8.1.
XapDeploy.exe (SDK 8.0) for xap 7.x 8.0.

The OEM Files are at : Phone\PROGRAMS\CommonFiles\Xaps
In case anyone else was looking, Now the work starts

You can use this if the app gets an update or when you reset your phone and get updates for all OEM apps

Well, it hasn't exactly leaked yet. Do you have the actual file? I can add the correct drivers and remove the timebomb if I can get my hands on it

Unfortunately no, I don't have access to BetaArchive's FTP. But I would be shocked if nobody on this forum had... Fingers crossed it gets reuploaded soon.

Another thing we need to find out, does it require configuration to boot? Or is it just a bootable install image?

Well I manage to get the file. Its not iso its a zip. But I have honestly not Idea what to do with it, and I try in all inventive ways, LOL!. I could make a torrent file if any its interested on. With the compromise on do a tutorial later if some one manage to do anything with it.

In the end, I won't know how exactly to fix the timebomb unless I can see the file itself. Replacing the drivers are just as easy as copy paste into the wim file.

I've been trying to get this running on Surface 2, the way I've been trying with this is a dual boot with RT 8.1 and I've partitioned my device to allow roughly 12GB for the Windows 10 installation.
Unfortunately there is an issue with nvpep causing a BSOD that is beyond my abilities to solve, without nvpep nothing else will work. I don't have a Surface RT to test with but I read that this issue does not manifest on those devices, however it still won't work out of the box.
I've pieced together some information that might be of help if your trying to install that applies to RT and 2.
Make sure secureboot debug policy is applied and don't forget to enable testsigning and nointegritychecks. If you have Jailbreak killing updates installed its probably faster to factory reset your device.
You will need to replace sdbus.sys and ststor.sys in \Windows\system32\drivers\ with versions from RT 8.1.
You will need to edit the registry on build 15035 to disable UAC - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System - EnableLUA set value to 0.
Before booting 15035 you will need to create new directory on EFIESP in \EFI\Microsoft\Recovery and then create an empty BCD Store in that location.
If you don't add the Surface 2 drivers it will actually boot to the desktop but no devices will work (Pretty much every device requires nvpep up and running first), you can play around with it using a USB keyboard and mouse but its a little pointless at the moment.

Would it be possible to share the build with wider community, so more people can have a shot at getting it up and running? I know I would love to play around with it.

Please make no mistake on the significance of said leak. There is no other known more-recent ARM 32bit Windows 10 build available on the Internet. The driver hacking community could appreciate a more open leak very much (just look at what it did to the Lumia 950/XL hacking scene around gus33000).. Sites like uup dot rg-adguard dot net fail to list this build.

I think I won't even ask for unreleased protos, like the Lumia 2020 ("Illusionist") etc
