hello people iam making the rom lotusmod and the only thing whats not working is video filming.
Could a good developer help my to fix that?

hi all,
i am facing a problem with HTC youtube app that is ported on to xperia. when ever it plays a video in high quality, it lags ALOOOOOOOOT ....is there anyone else who is facing that problem ?
is there any cure for that ?
what rom are you using
try a cooked 6.1 rom. ive never had luck with any 6.5 roms
im using pctech4u rom and its acceptable
same problem here, there has to be an option to speed it up
I had this problem with every rom. Even with the original r2a rom from sony. Now i have the H.V4 Final and its totally smooth now in high quality. I dont know why other roms cant do it. So it depends on which rom you have. I guess the drivers have something to do with it but i dont know, i dont cook roms ^^

Was wondering it if it possible to edit the original camcorder app to record in a different format something like .mp4 with better audio?
Reason I ask, is when I've used 3rd part voice recorder app's the sound is better, so it must be possible to get good sound.
If the above isn't possible would it be at all possible to write a new camcorder app that records in the .mp4 format with higher audio quality?
This would be a huge app, so i'm not expecting anything, but just wondered if it is at all possible.
I'm not a developer so I don't know.

I've been hearing around the forums about a codec fix in build.prop, you might want to do a search for that, could possibly be what your looking for.

Sorry what exactly do you mean? build.prop?
I'm not a dev or anything, Just wondered if a Dev on this forums would know anything about it.

I'm interested in this as well. My usage scenario is to record video with the camcorder and use twonkyserver to stream it directly from my phone to my LG TV, which supports mp4 and mkv containers, but not 3gp.
it is probably possivle, but i dont have a clue wjere to start.

I am still fixing the video recording problem lag issue, because it is capturing video at 720X480 which is 480p. Please DONT flash this file if you use your phone to take video frequently.
