Hi,
Just upgraded my rom, and for some reason, when i go the the orangeworld site in pie, it only displays a text version. No graphics or anything.
Any ideas?

I have noticed this too, and it must be something to do with what PIE reports itself as for User Agent.
The sites work fine with Opera, but cant see if that reports as Mozilla for whatever.
We need someone with WM5 to look....

I use PIE+ and tried all the user agents, but no change. Also noticed gprs/3g connection is real unstable! I'm in london, so definately a good coverage!

What is the URL? Assume you have "show pictures" set etc ? I have black 3.1 on T mobile (well, virgin) and connection seems stable. This is on a m3100
Yeah I noticed this before too... I've only installed Black up to 3.0, so it the problem existed in at least version, maybe earlier.
http://wap.orange.co.uk for orange world. WEorks in opera fine. in PIE every other site i look at displays correctly, only orange so far is appearing as plain text.
As for the connection, i'm using the latest radio upgrade. to be honest, the connection was pants when i had the standard os installed, but then upgraded the radio, which improved it. But now i upgraded the os, the connection is worse than ever.
Also, Skype refuses to log in!
I'm pretty much ready to the sell piece of $h1t on ebay and get something else!!
So nobody able to help me?????
I don't use Orangeworld. Sorry. Have not had this issue. What apn are you using, the orangewap one or the orangeinternet one?

I dont think its down to that in any case, coz it works fine with Opera.
yeah I know, just grasping at straws. I seem to remember that some of the orange sites only worked via the orangewap apn. never use them so dunno really.
Hi, sorry am unable to help as I have same on orangeworld, but would just recommend that before you sell, you try reverting the radio version to 1.38.0.10 or .01.
Makes it a whole different phone, no dropped signals, better battery.

Yeah, no problems - orangeworld works fine in PIE for me WITH graphics (after I fixed it of course!!)
First I would recommend the latest Orange Radio ROM which is 1.38.00.01 - works best for Orange UK (this is not necessary for my fix to work though.)
See my cab file which installs the Orange UK MMS and internet settings as well as fixing the voicemail icon issue and the orangeworld graphics issue
If anyone needs it, I suppose I could create a cab file containing just the fix for orangeworld on PIE
Ok, here is the cab to just fix the Orangeworld site on Orange UK - it also fixes the voicemail icon since this is kinda essential
This should work on all WM6 ROMs on Orange UK
ps. you DO NOT need this file if you are using the cab file in the post above

Just a quick question. What was the problem? It almost looked like it didn't pick up the css or something, but the strange thing was the fact every other site i looked at was fine. Would be nice to know exactly what was up with it.

radio fix and settings cab have sorted me right out!
keep getting the "H" symbol. did a quick test and was close to 500kbs! not sure how reliable that is, but just browsing now is a dream, and no connection dropped!

I have a similar problem on 3 UK in that none of the icons on Planet 3 show up - is this cab something generic that might fix my problem? My phone is working nice and smoothly and the moment so don't want to install it just in case.....
Hay guys I'm new here so please forgive me if this has already been addressed but I could not find anything on this matter . I'm trying to get full web access with t-zones using the settings on the Dash Wiki and can't seem to get it to work . Does this work around still work ? Or am I just doing something wrong ? is t-zones not available anymore? every time i go into my t-mobile to make changes, i can't even see that option. very annoying. what's more annoying, the total internet is not even listed as a service i have!

Ummm you just have to call tmobile and add it through the phone by speaking to a representative.

I wonder if T-Mobile has started to turn it off...?
I know that T-Zones works for me here in Boulder, CO. If I drive down to Denver, though, it doesn't work anymore. I haven't tested any place else yet (since I haven't been anywhere else lately, lol), but I'm already starting to wonder if it's going away...

this is what i meant. not how do i get it. i remember a few months ago t-zones was an option under add/edit services, no it's not there. i know how to add services. jesus.

Change your phone on the site to a V3 RAZR or the like.. The option should pop up then to use T-zones.

Haha thats what I did and it let me sign on for it...
this is bizarre. i changed my account to have tzones, got a text saying the changes were made (i see it online too) and my internet, outlook, google maps, etc has been working just fine & i made no changes on my phone.

it sometimes taks 24-48 hours for the provisioning of those services to take effect
i made the changes on thursday i think! very odd.
using kavana rom, got an asda sim in the phone now, does anybody know how to set up the MMS, when i try to download any they dont appear.

anybody? i have a vodafone sim and that sends mms fine. when i use the asda sim and go to connection setup ASDA isnt there to choose from the list. is there a way round this?

There are a few versions of Skype on your link above - could you let me know if Skype_0.10.0.16_hutch_live is the latest please? I saw Skype_1.5.0.13_3UK_live before it on your post but now with the other one added I am confused with the numbering i.e. 16 vs 13 at the end could make it newer but perhaps beta vs release version because of the 0.10 vs 1.5 at the beginning. I tried both of them and found Skype_0.10.0.16_hutch_live.apk faster in reconnection and starting the call but Skype_1.5.0.13_3UK_live had a bit more features like renaming contacts.

i think "Skype_1.5.0.13_3UK_live" is the latest
but 3UK still spam "Skype_0.10.0.16_hutch_live"

my browser goes to mobile.three.co.uk/hb/HutchKey and if it opens on the page with "Store, My3 Account, Help" then you are on three mobile internet otherwise Skype on three will not work I think.
here is the link to the thread by kaizer006 with the launcher for Planet 3 but I don't use it.
if your phone does not connect to internet it is a problem with your account or the phone - try taking out the sim card and battery and reinserting it after half a minute - it fixed internet for me a few times. Otherwise call Three to help you with getting set up on their internet - there may be a way to reset your APN (access point names) from the phone too - but best call them telling them what phone you have and they will help step by step for internet itself but probably will not help with your skype as they only suport this on some models. Mentioning it to them before internet access is sorted may be counterproductive.

Hei guys, any ideas why my internet explorer stop responding when I tried to open it? I'm new with this nokia lumia 900. My phone won't open the internet explorer at all. First it won't open any tab since I got them now after 4 days I can't open my IE at all ....

Yes, factory reset sorted it. Never did get to the bottom of WHY it happened though
The Microsoft Answers forums had quite a few posts from people reporting the same problem with no theories as to what was going on and no solution other than a hard reset
Interestingly, other browsers from the marketplace worked fine, along with rss feeds etc so it's not a connectivity problem, but a problem with IE9 itself.

Found the answer in the microsoft forums, switching the IE settings from open in new tab to open in current tab under miraculously fixed it.
After changing to open IE in current tab it worked for a while then gradually died so that it never works now in either new tab or current tab mode. [email protected]
