Undervolt Cause Force Close? - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey guys, i just tried the app incredicontrol. Its basically like viperboys undervolt script.
I went down 25 and then some apps force close. Would undervolting cause this??

I believe it could but raise them back up and see if it goes away or fix permissions.

[resolved] Cracking and popping sound issue

I've done some searching and didn't find anything. The issue is when I scroll my screen while playing music it stutters and pops.
I have gone from stock ec05 to acs and different kernels and the issue persists.
Before I go through the long process of backing up my sd card and formatting I was hoping someone might know what the problem is.

Known problem, no solution yet besides rebooting.. this issue disappeared after I flashed baked snack tho.

Rebooting does nothing. It never stops. Its always there. Yet it wasnt before.

My guess is its kernel related, speed step issue maybe, voltage may play a part also...

So I did a full format of everything. Went back to stock eb13. No sound issues. Auto updated to ec05 and no sound issues. Installed cwm3 no sound issues. Installed acs srf 1.1.0 standard no sound issue. Installed emotionless beast 1.7.1 theme no sound issue.
so whether it was bad data or something else formatting fixed my sound issue.

When I'm not rooted and am just stock eco5 it don't get hot at all :\ I'm lost here and could this cause damage?

That's your problem, not all phones can handle scaling from 100mhz minimum, switch it to 200mhz and try it for a few hours.
Ok ill try that. Let you know ina few hours how it works ok thank you

Pretty sure this is an issue across all of the Gingerbread leak ROMs. If I missed one that actually does go into deep sleep, please correct me

Reflashed the ROM and it looks like its working again....interesting....

My phone sleeps like a baby for 89% on Bonsai v5.0.
This issue is usually something trying to sync and the modems being lousy on GB so far. Turn all syncs to manual, FB, Gtalk, emails, Twitter, all...and see if that let's it sleep. Also go into running services and see what apps are in memory. Stop ones that are not system and see if that does it.
Mine sleeps good on marcusiants rc10 rom... with ee03 modem, but wouldn't go into deep sleep with ec05 modem.

The DK28 modem is also known for this on GB. Also removing brightness.apk or lcdtest.apk can also cause this. And I have seen it right after instlling GB KB from the market, that right a KB ould keep it from going into deep sleep. Once we can tweak the kernels this will all be a thing of the past even if it isnt fixed in the final release.

Proper overclocking/undervolting.

What are proper figures for doing this?
Im sure this is a noob question but I messed with stweaks a bit and my phone has rebooted randomly twice since. Could this be why?
Problem just started and I've been running this problem free jellythunder!

I'm overclocked to 1.8 and undervolted all by -100. I've had it set on boot complete for about a month now and have never had any issues. I'm not saying you won't either but this is what's worked for me.

I envy you. When I set -100 all phone gets stuck and reboots most of the time. when I set -75 still the same. Dirves me crazy.
