I am running SkyRaider Zeus and love everything about it, but I have a hard time differentiating between checked and unchecked boxes with the light blue. I would love to get the green from Froyo back. Is that possible?
Green check boxes where? In my quick settings menu they are all green...

Not to sound harsh, but this would be better off on the site where the rom is actually supported. And in regard to your question, mine are also green.

Could some one take any theme, and make it have green highlights/ base color. The gingerbread green would be great. I'm really bored with blue. I understand that 80% of americans have blue as their favorite color.( I can't quote a source for that, maybe it's a fallacy.)
I'm currently on ec05, SRF latest. Or if some one could point me to something I could use I'd be very much grateful.
I've tried to flash the gingerbread aosp theme but it just gives me a ton of force closes, then reboots.
Thank you for any sort of advice, or direction.

Nevermind I did a fresh install of everything, and got the gingerbread theme working. Please Delete this thread. Thanks, and Sorry.

i am looking for a lockscreen only. was hoping someone just had the stock one and could post or point me to it.
either a ICS or just a stock TW lockscreen, not a whole theme.
thanks for any info!

Widget locker has the absolute best ICS lockscreen I've seen. Highly recommend it.

What do yu have to have for it to work? Only ICS? I thought I saw a complete theme that had it for GB, but I could have been mistaken... oh well, TW doesn't hurt my feelings at all.

I am in the exact same boat, down to the ROM and everything. I love everything about CleanGB except I'd like to have more lockscreen functions (especially camera!).
Widgetlocker is great because you can customize it down to the last inch, but I didn't like the idle resource and battery drain. Same with the Magic Locker ICS theme (which is great because it has calls and SMS notification counts built in, and it's free). But both are simply apps that float on top.
Until there's an ICS style lock that I can zip into, I guess I'll go back to the stock touchwiz. Thanks Kenny.

Widgetlocker uses 5-6mb of ram and does not affect performance or battery. That's less ram than swype and just barely more than vvm.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
May have to try out the widgetlocker, but would rather have a straightup lockscreen. I don't understand why it couldn't be ported over, though.

Ics contains a whole other framework. Have you ever used ICS? It is completely different than gingerbread...
-Marcusant via Tapatalk
Yes I have used it. Have 2 nexus s phones as well. That is why I liked the lockscreen so much. I really want ics on the epic, but I know that is gunna be a while.

To be fair, it could be ported, and rewritten for GB. A lot of work, yes. Possible, yes. Likely, no. Not unless the tsm mod has it next time maddoggin ports it again lol.

Aha. I found out why it seemed to be draining the battery faster. I've been using juice defender to cut 3G when the screen is off. The problem is that JD won't recognize these apps as a true screenlock, so it doesn't turn off 3G.
I recently bought tasker so I'll try learning how to use that for controlling connectivity instead.
-tory
I hear tasker> jd. In fact I hear all around jd is junk. Even used it myself once and it definitely did nothing to help.

Love how everybody keeps saying that... works great for me! Guess its just one of thsoe ymmv things... I only use it cuz I forget to cut off my data when not using it...
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
I'm happy with my setup your happy with yours. It's all good.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
Well, JD worked well enough for me to notice a drastic difference in my battery idle. With the JD inactivated and 3G hooked up, I would drain 4-5% per hour at idle. Cutting idle 3G made for a much nicer 1% per hour.
Tasker is much more controllable. Now I have it set up so that only apps that require data turn on 3G when activated. This is great because JD only toggled connectivity with the screen status. Now I can use the camera, text, or play games without 3G turning on at all. There is a 2 second lag for switching on 3G that I usually have to refresh for, but the kill speed after exiting is instantaneous. Great program.
Don't mean to hijack, I know this is moving away from the OP's (and my) question. Let's hear it for a baked-in ICS lock coming soon!

Hey,
I'm looking for a kernel that supports voodoo sound, but doesnt use voodoo color. Configuring voodoo color sounds like more hassle than it's worth, since I'm perfectly happy with stock color. Don't want to have to fiddle with settings.
Are there any custom kernels that support this?
Can voodoo color be disabled in a kernel that supports it?
Nope but I have voodoo settings you can go by that I think look great...

Really? This thread is not called please force me to switch to voodoo color.
He is asking is there a kernel without voodoo color. I don't care for voodoo color either.

Exactly, my feeling is that since I'm perfectly happy with the stock colors, I'd rather just have one less thing to have to mess with and tweak.
And we're definitely not alone..

Thanks for the link to the kernel. Currently I'm on cm7 running their stock kernel, and the linked kernel one looks like it's for cm9. Any ideas if one exists for cm7 without voodoo color?

1. Not forcing just stating
2. There is no tweaking just slide some sliders and see what looks nice that's it my 2 year old cousin could do that.
3. Voodoo color wasn't created for nothing lol
4. Plus if you don't want to "tweak" Voodoo Color stays on stock intill you mess with it. So you can use the kernel without caring for VColor just go to colors and hit default wa la stock plus benefits of that kernel that may not be in another kernel
Again not forcing just stating somethings is all

Lost... just stop dude, please just stop. The thread isn't for "opinions on voodoo color" it's for "a kernel with voodoo sound but no voodoo color". The question was already addressed yet you go on and on and on and on about why voodoo color is better. Your opinion isn't the point. Some of us like it stock. Some of us just don't wanna have to worry about it and like how it looks just fine. Also, the inclusion of voodoo color right away changes the colors and brightness and it is not "stock", and most kernel devs have their own idea of what's "best" built into voodoo color on boot till you change it.

This isn't a post to try and persuade the OP into voodoo color, but I'm almost certain there is an option within the settings to leave them as they are for stock, right? If the OP found a kernel that has both, he can still technically use voodoo color, but not adjust anything, correct?

Back when i was using the G2X devs figured out a way to use the backlight on the capacitive buttons as a make shift notification LED in the Cyanogen 7 ROMs. Does any one know if the way the GS2 is made makes this a possibility? Because even though NOLED works just fine, I find I prefer a pulsing or blinking light as a notification.

Correct me if I mis-read the description of BLN, but it has to be baked into the kernel and is not ICS compatible. So for any future ROMs or anyone running CM9 or ICS based roms that will not work.

So I installed the Wicked JB v2.1 on my S3 and it didnt give me the options to pick a different color. (red or blue). I saw in the ICS install it allows you to pick a color and was just wondering if this option was taken out by the dev team.
