Has anyone got one of theses skins?
If so would you recommend them?

EDIT: -i can see that the green liquid logo still exists in XPERIA T but not in XPERIA V nor XPERIA J. all these three phones have curve in their back plate just like XPERIA ARC
-new WALKMAN, ALBUM, and MOVIE apps look even better than the current ones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ork4bbC85E&feature=context-gfa

Watching now, at work. haha. thanks
M getting the v
The sale of the Xperia T in Europe in a few weeks left the Xperia ION in a very compromised situation in the market.
Yeah the ion is a waste of an upgrade, especially now. Had it been released back in January or even a few months after, then the ion would have been popular. Sony f'd up but that's in largely thanks to att. Then again, things like the wifi signal and the battery life, the ion feels like a step back even compared to my x10.

ION was the real flagship before arrival of Xperia T. It's a shame that Sony did not launch for months, along with xperia s. Now who will buy the Xperia ION, having better options in the market?
It was perfect if you ask me, killer phone with killer specs for free..... Thank you ATT, Sony and anyone else that was responsible.

Hi all there,
I'll upgrade my phone next january and I´m wishing to buy a better Sony phone (I have Sony Xperia U running a modded ROM from here, TheBrainsROM [thanks to thebrainkafka for his development], but when I did some use from my brother´s Xperia SL, I´ve got very disappointed with mine's performance).
So, I think I´m going for S, SL or Acro S, but these phones share some equal specifications and I was wondering what should be the very appeal to buy one or another (price, waterproof, frequency....).
I´m not letting the phone go on a stock ROM, I will upgrade it with some ROM from here at once. Would have any of them an advantage with this, since I can do a better performance with a modded ROM?
Or, should I go vor a Xperia V? Why? (too much for my budget now, but maybe I would wait some more...)
Thanks in advance for your time and for sharing your experience here,
Alexandre
Xperia V
I'd hold out for the Xperia V if you can. Why? Well it has a newer chip set (s4) so it's faster, more efficient and overall more future proof. It has a sexy design, same size as the S, SL and Acro S, it's waterproof I think? It has 4G LTE. Micro SD card expansion. Removable battery. The lost goes on really.
Just wait for Xperia V
V
Wait for V. Or acro S.
Depends on your taste though.
Overall, acro s is good enough to satisfy my needs. It has microSD card support, size that fit my hand, water/dust resist coz im an outdoor type, and design that suit me. I can ignore bulkiness that acro s have. Also, the performance is not so bad and battery life is kinda sucks.
The devs here are less than S/ion.
I dont care about removable battery, because i dont need that.
I prefer V than acro S, besides V got a nice chipset and new tech, V provides more chance of future updates than the previous gen.
So, take xperia V.
Why not go the Xperia ION ?

You can pick up Xperia S for cheap now, but if I was going to buy a phone now I would probably buy an Xperia V but it will be expensive.
Get the yuga or odin when they centre out. I prefer t over v. T had a better benchmark than v in a video. Also jb for t maybe is out.

Hi,
I wanted to buy Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S, but i'm not sure about the speaker (when calling).
Is the speaker good? could be boostd?
Maybe you can even recommend about other phone.
What I really need to have:
Loud speaker (for calling)
A memory card extensio*n
Not giant like the Samsung Galaxy 3
Reasonable CPU
Reasonable camera
up to 530 dollars
Thank you very much.
Xperia Arc s has very high quality sound (both in call and playing music) I can make you sure about this , and if you use gingerbread based ROM then you have a Reasonable CPU and the camera is very better than other phones in this range ...
but If you want to spend about 500 dollars take a look at Nexus 4 And Galaxy SII
SII has good size but Nexus 4 is a bit bigger but it worth
I would give Nexus 4 a try if I were you. My other option would be Razr i with that 2Ghz processor that seems great.
Sony Xperia V is a good Phone.
What do you think about Xperia J?
LG nexus 4, HTC one S or newer xperia range like Xperia S,T,TX .
don't buy arc IMHO.

J is worse than arc. I wouldn't choose J over Arc S. You should have a look at Xperia P - good price ($280 AU), dual core, same physical size as arc, and jelly bean update for $370 AU, you can get the Xperia S which is even better
Good luck finding a phone!

I have had an arc S for a year and now in christmas I have buy a Htc One X and is so amazing!! I recomended it to you, a lot of differents between arc S and HOX!! Buy a HOX!!
Buy Arc S. It has all features you need and should be at least 40% cheaper then others.

I have to agree, s2 screens are actually really really bad

I quite like the galaxy s2 screen actually maybe I'm just a sucker for over saturation and bright colours but I still prefer my arc S screen.

Well,I am thinking of using GelaSkin (but I will still use my case)...so,have anyone use it?Is it good?Because it looks like expensive for a skin (I know it is custom made)...I am planning to buy it for my Xperia mini pro and my Xperia ion so will it have any issues?Like can't see capacitive key light during dark,etc2. ?

I dont know if i am posting in the correct category, but i hope so. I am trying to find out if there is still a Sony Music app tha comes on the new Xperia 1 and Xperia 10 models and what it actually looks like compared to the old music app which i understand,Sony has discontinued now. Can anyone please let me know what the new Music app looks like and if it can be ported for use on other Sony devices such as my Xperia XZ2
Do you mean Xperia 1 and 10 Mark II ?
If you meant them they aren't released yet so I think non of us have hands on them.
I however got access to a Xperia 10ii prototype and it seems like it's a first generation prototype because it's Sony in only Hardware side,
On the software side it's totally stock
