Has anyone else played around with this app? I downloaded it last night and it seems like it has a bunch of cool features.
I'm wondering if it is as stable as rom manager or possibly better.

Hi,
I'm currently running CM6 and loving it, but I'm torn on what to try next... EViO, Baked Snack and VaelPak are all possibilities.
None of the ROM's really have the exact thing I want. Ideally, I'd like a ROM that has the following:
- Sense E-mail App
- Sense Calendar App
- Sense Lock Screen
- Sense Status Bar (with Custom Battery Icon)
- AOSP Contacts & Dialer
- AOSP Messaging (SMS/MMS)
- AOSP Gallery
- 4G Support
- FM Radio
- WiFi/Wired Tether
- Sprint Bloatware Removed (apart from Sprint TV)
- ADK Laucher (easy to add after the fact)
Any ideas on how to get this? I wish I was a Dev... I would build my own
I have been really happy with my testing of Evio. I have installed just about every rom in an attempt to find the perfect rom for me. The 2 i ussually come back to are Damage Control and Evio.
Some are upset that Dc hasnt had an update in a while but in my opinion it works well and is stable and there arent a lot of reasons they need a big update unles they have something to actually improve it.
As for evio VERY very solid rom. My suggestion if you like CM is to try one of these 2 (since evio is on your list i would go witht hat one) Remove all the sense ui crap and then search the forum for ASOP phone/contacts and messaging apks that were modded to work with sense roms. I know i have seen galelry and am pretty sure i ahve seen phone/contacts. the only one i dont think i have seen is messagin. (i am a handcent fan so havent really watched for ASOP messaging).
once you find the apks of the modded apps you can simply remove the Sense versions and replace with the ASOP version. This would give you pretty much what you are looking for at least for the hard parts. the bloat ware and launcher you can easily adapt to any rom. evio also comes with wired and wifi tether apps preinstalled.
anyway of the 3 i would try Evio next and good luck getting everything for your perfect rom set up.

I looked but couldn't find the AOSP apk's that I need. Do you think it will work if I just extract the apk's that I like from CM6, by copying them to my SD card and then moving them to my laptop? I can see MMS.apk, phone.apk, contacts.apk, and Gallery3D.apk in /system/app. Are there any other files that need to be copied with these?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Rooted several weeks ago and running CM6 and loving it, but I need a good ROM with working Bluetooth. Don't realy care if I have to go back to 2.1, your answers and suggestions are welcomed.
If you like the stock espresso, just go with CR's OTA rom, it's stock with root as far as i know.
For me the best rom ever is SlideMr4. It doesnt have the sense launcher thus no sense running in the background but has everything sense does. I love it all the keys work everything works and has a light weight launcher included called helix which like a water down version of launcherpro. Htcclay has his themed version called RemixMr4 I think or something like that. This wont be as fast as CM6 but its not slow either.
1st is im running Synergy rc2 + gmode and i cant find the HTC Hub app anywhere
edit- i found the apk in the apps folder but after installing it nothing loads on it and i get the HTC Hub sync has stopped working...i was wondering is there any way to fix this?
2nd question is would you recommend any other kernel over the stock one...im not big on trying and experimenting with kernels as i dont really know much and i see all these new ones being released.....so essentially is there anything better than the stock one that comes with the rom.
so if anyone has these answers please let me know
can anyone please help
Kernel
HTC Evo 4G Freedom-v0.4 Kernel was just released today for Synergy RC2+Godmode. I havent tested it yet but his last few kernels worked really well

I am having the same problem with HTCHub as well. I havent seen or heard of a solution. One thing I can think of is maybe load a rom where it works, and then do a TB of the app, and the sync settings?
So I am currently running MIUI 2.9.29 for my OG Evo and was wondering where I can find a working DSP manager. I tried googling it last night and came across about 3 fixes so far and I can get it installed, but the settings don't take hold. I'm new to miui, but I'm assuming it's aosp but some posts have said that miui has sense elements in it? if anybody could please point me in a direction on a working DSP for JB or even Miui, or perhaps alternatives that would help greatly. ty
so after doing some more research, it seems miui-AU has a working dspmanager, but it's for the mi-one. However, they are now on JB too it seems so anybody happen to know how they have DSP and US seems to suffer?
We have Awesome Beats .. like DSP but better!
When I got my T-Mobile SGH-T999 GS3 I decided to wait until JB was released to root it and install a custom rom. Since I'm not overly impressed with JB's performance and I really just want something tailored more to my wants and needs.
I watched a video reviewing something called the Omega Rom, but apparently that's only for the international version of the GS3. The reviewer noted that one of his favorite features of the rom was a little application similar to the "app store" where he could easily download and install different tweaks to the phone, such as animations and such. I am trying to find a fast, stable rom that has a feature like this since I'm not overly comfortable downloading and installing a bunch of different software because my knowledge base is very small. I've rooted before and installed roms before on my previous phone but now I'm just reaching out to everyone to see if they know of an "all in one" rom out there for the US version of the GS3.
Thanks!
I personally haven't used it but if you want maximum customization I'd maybe look at cm10 or aokp. I have found the touchwiz rom's are as fast as I could want and there are some decent customizations available for them, look at wildchild's v11 kitchen for example.
