MOD EDIT - POSTING OF WAREZ
Hi guys! I am having some trouble themeing this. I am familiar with transparency as I have done the status bar itself, and I did the background for the pull down bar transparent but it shows up black.. I've searched hi and low (I'm sure I'm doing something wrong not to find the answer, and I'm sorry for this but I really would like to know how to do this). Is there an edit I need to do to an xml file or something I'm not familiar with XML what so ever but if anyone could help me out in anyway guide me in the right direction or whatever that would be very great and I'd be very appreciative!, thanks guys
72 people and not one willing to help a brother out?
You need to edit the services.jar i believe.

No I hear you I appriciate it man, I do the same thing I just recently learned how to deodex an RUU file so I've just been running stock rom with my own additions, which is why I asked this question
If you're really interested in learning this, and you can't figure it out with extensive google research, try sending a private message to stoney 666, jlechner, or chingy51o.

Good luck my friend.

Thanks very much.
I really appreciate that
I dont know if this is the right place or not but I was wondering if anyone has the Honeysense HD 7.3.zip. I updated to 8.0 and I don't like it I forgot to make a nandroid backup and I can not recover the .zip from my SD card. Any help would be nice if someone has it they can PM me or post a link with the Http left out
I have it.
I am at work atm but am happy to share it via Fileshare when I get home.
Just PM me if you still need it.
If you don't mind me asking, what is it about HS 8.0 that you don't like? I havent tried it yet but was considering throwing it on for a trial.
Cheers,
Jaybo
Um it is sense 2.1 fully and not as cool looking. I only had it on there for about 5min and reverted back to my last nandroid of rcmix hd. That's all I can really say about it.
Thanks by the way

Cool. I found that the link is still available in the archive section. Here you go:

Hi thanks for the link but it seems to just re-direct to google search. Would it be possible for you to send me the file or shed some light on this?
When I first started theming the nexus I would go into the .zip of the wanted rom and replace the softkeys. It was very easy because they were all named ic_sysbar...
I have had trouble locating these files for awhile now but have gotten by with the great rom control or toolboxes built into roms. However, I would like to know what these pngs are called now, and where they are located, with in the re.apk.
Could somebody tell me? and is it still as easy as replacing these pngs to make it work?
I know these are noob questions but I cant find the pngs
-Thanks
Please move this thread to Q&A. Thank you!
I'm not of much help on this, but if I were you, I'd delete this thread and put it in Q&A; maybe even Themes and Apps. You're going to get flamed for posting in development, so I'm just trying to help out.

The images are in the SystemUI apk at the /res/drawable-xhdpi folder. They still start with ic_sysbar
