I've checked the Settings>Sounds menu as well as the Cyanogenmod Settings>Input menus (as well as every other menu) and I can't find any way to get the haptic feedback back on the hardware softkeys on the phone's body. I am getting haptic feedback for everything else. Is this an issue with CM7? I can't find any other threads about this... everyone else seems to be trying to turn it off...

I ran the Android 4.1.1 update this morning, and since then my haptic feedback has stopped working. The selections are greyed out on HTC Keyboard, Swype Beta, and Sound settings.
Is anyone else having the same problem? Is there a way to turn haptic feedback back on?
Thanks!
Doesn't sound good!
You can always try reflashing an RUU file?
Do you have power saver enabled? Check the settings on that and enable haptic feedback.
Making changes to the power settings makes the haptic feedback return
I searched the forums for this using both "spen" and "s pen" but didn't find an answer.
Is there a way to disable the haptic feedback that happens when you slide the s pen in or out of the phone? I have Haptic completely disabled...I tried disabling it through the power saving mode as well...it's turned off for everything else, keyboard, moving the icons on the home screen...etc...but even with it turned off I still get the haptic when I take out the s pen.
Oh, it's also still vibrating when I use the multi-window features including when I move the divider bar between the multi'ed apps.
This was the case with the stock ROM as well as Macks 4.0
(BTW I really like Macks 4.0)
Forgive me if this has been answered, I looked and couldn't find a post about it. I'm trying to shut off the feedback from this ROM's lockscreen. I've gone into the lockscreen options, unchecked everything in there yet my phone still buzzes at me when unlocking. For some this may be nice, but to me it is very much a nuisance and I'd like it to stop. I've disabled all feedback, button sounds etc... but it still vibrates when I unlock. Could be a deal breaker for me on the ROM, looks great otherwise.
Thanks in advance for any pointers or solutions.
*edit*
The feedback has shut off for everything else mind you, keyboard, buttons etc... just the lockscreen is what seems to not respond.
anyone know why the keyboards haptic feeback (vibration) is not working at all? I have the setting checked in the keyboards settings but its not working. Anyone else having this issue or have a solution to it? Im running viperone 1.7.0 right now.
Can someone tell me definitively:
A.) Did any version of the Note 4 on any ROM ever have haptic feedback for all touchscreen interactions (as opposed to just the keyboard/menu/back keys)?
B.) If so, is it still working in Marshmallow?
My N910V barely, and I mean barely has any feedback on the Keyboard, Menu( task list) and Back keys.
Yep, settings are enabled/cranked. No power-saving, etc.
Call vibrate and unlock vibrate are normal.
Thanks.
