Hello, I'm new user, but have been reading this forums for a long time.
I've just installed CM7 Nightly build 110901, everything went fine.
But now, I'm trying to connect my Defy to the PC to transfer some files, and the PC simply won't recognize my Defy as a Mass Storage device.. I've trying searching for solutions, but didn't find anything.
Anyone can help me, please?
Thanks.
EDIT: Nevermind guys, I was being stupid. The USB mode was selected to Charge Only!

Hey guys and gals.
Im after some help fixing my Imate JasJam (herm100).
I recently flashed a new rom to my device ant it dosent seem to be working properly.
You guys prob get asked this all the time but i cant find it anywhere - Is it possible to fix my phone using Bootloader Mode? If so how?
I have a 2Gb micro sd but i have no reader for it i have usb cable for computer and the new activesync.
i downloaded the rom off your sit and it worked for ages then just stopped its called _QUEROMB1_Essentials_WM6.5-21807_for_Hermes
I would be so grateful if anyone at all can help or give links or suggestions.
Thanx.

you will need a reader if its not working via usb. If active sync is working I think you may be able to transfer the file to the card to flash, if the jasjam supports it. Better search in the threads, they may already have these answers.
I recently flashed the newest version of MIUI 2.4.27 for my EVO 4G and, for some reason, the USB Mass Storage option seems to be missing or just not working when I connect to my computer, I even downloaded the UMS apk that other builds have been using for ICS ROMs and it didn't work when connected to my computer, is there a fix that anyone can suggest?
I've also been having problems with Car Mode, it just keeps restarting no matter how many times I shut it off, I'd appreciate some help with that too
I've been off XDA for 6-7 months and just got back into flashing my Sprint SGS3, so please excuse my noobish question. And yes I searched other posts on this and found no solid solution.
I noticed now with JB there is no more mass storage mode, I get that, but are there any ROMs compatible with our phone that still has Mass Storage Mode? Shoot I'll go back to GB if I have to to get MSM back! I have a Mac so neither Kies nor AFT work on my OS X 10.8 iMac. I can use AirDroid, but it's a bit slow and not as convenient as the old "USB and go" method. I seriously think this is the worst thing to happen to Android to come back to. I loved being able to plug in and drag and drop files to my SD card. Any suggestions?
Thanks and I'm glad to be back to XDA. Ready to start flashing!!!!
Hey guys,
I'm trying to transfer a ROM over to my phone's internal storage and I keep getting an error that says my device is not responding or not connected when I try to transfer the file. I've tried flashing to different ROMs (Hyperactive, CM10.1) and I still get the same issue in all of those ROMs... any help? For some reason I can copy files from my phone to my computer (a text back up file). I can also copy a small pdf to my phone.. anyone know how to fix this? I do have the sdcard/0/0/0/0/0 issue frm CM 10.1 but until now, that hasn't done anything.
Could be your usb cable. But you could try downloading straight to the phone. I never download roms to my pc.

Rooted my S4 mini with Clockwork and now when I plug it into a computer it is no longer recognized. Autoplay does not come up nor does it appear as a device in My Computer. I updated my samsung drivers and tried downloading a "USB Mass Storage Enabler" app, but nothing seems to work.
Anyone experience this problem? Any suggestions?
Nevermind. Found my answer. Mods, please delete this

Can you pls tell your solution?
Sorry, haven't been on here in a while. In short the solution was that there wasn't a way to enable mass storage, at least at the time. Haven't had the phone in over a year so it may be different now.
