Hi,
I recently rooted my Desire using unrevoked3 and flashed Oxygen 2.2.2 with ROMManager.
My problem is that the stock web browser isn't loading any webpages when connected trough Mobile network, but when on Wi-Fi it works fine. The same goes for Opera Browser and Dolphin HD; but Firefox works fine on Mobile Network as well as Wi-Fi.
I don't think the problem is with APN because I can connect to the internet with other apps(Market, GMail, Weather,...) without problems.
Can someone please help?!

ive flashed my phone with opendesire 1.6a and then installed flash 10.1.
flash is working in the native android browser, but i use opera 5 mini and want flash to work with opera also.
How can this be done ? some people say that flash is already installed in opera, that cant be true.
when i go to m.flash.com it tells me to download flash 10.1. ( with opera)

I think, this won't be possible with Opera Mini cquse he doesn't render the websites on device like the other browsers to, but on server and the server sends an "image" of the website to your phone.
That means if it should work, they must implement the flashsupport on server-side but i think this won't happen cause Opera mini is actually made for devices with less power and/or low bandwith.

Was working fine until yesterday and suddenly I'm no longer able to download any application via 3G, but WiFi works fine.
Clearing the caches, uninstalling the market update and rebooting the phone server times didn't help.
Anything I can do to get it back on track?

Yes. With out any problem. Only thing us that it starts as if it's going to download, them stops. I can download anything else from websites.

as one of the ones i had wouldnt allow me to download from the market but when i uninstalled it was fine again
Nope. I don't have any Antivirus installed (never installed before also).
It's very strange, yesterday I went on to repair the firmware and still I can't download anything from market via 3G, but WiFi still works without any problem. Now this is starting to annoy me
I deleted the APN settings and re-downloaded them via the Sony Ericsson Menu and bingo, started to work!
Hopefully it stays like this.

3G not downloading from Market
I had the exact same issue after applying the new ROM from overcome. Deleted the APN settings and re-created. All is downloading great. Would not have figured it out if not for this post.
I have tried downloading files on the internet with stock browser and chrome, and almost everytime, I'll get "download unsuccessful". What's strange is that if I press retry a couple of times, it'll download successfully. Any idea?
Happens to me as well. Rooted, but stock 4.0.4. I just use Chrome or Dolphin HD browsers, and downloads work on the first try.

It's nothing to worry about. It just means that you went to an internet address starting with http:// instead of https://. It shouldnt do your phone any harm as long as you know which websites you're visiting.
that's weird because with the lg I get this message of safety and with my tablet that is not Roote I do not have a safety message
Hello everyone,
So today I successfully converted my HTC One M8 GSM into Developer Edition (4.4.4). Then updated it OTA to Lollipop 5.0.1.
Then I downloaded my apps and everything.
Some of my apps say that there is no Internet connection even though some other apps and the browser are working fine. Kik for example isn't working.
Ask.fm isn't working.
They DO WORK over mobile network though. But it shows no Internet connection through WiFi.
note that both of these apps are working completely fine on my Nexus 7 connected to the same network running Lollipop as well.
I tried rebooting the phone. Didn't work.
They work if I use VPN.
any suggestions on how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance!
Try rebooting the wifi router.
After so many attempts of flashing different ROMs, rebooting my router, trying everything. Lol I found out that if I set it to Static instead of DHCP it works, BUT only uploading files doesn't work on many apps.
Who knows maybe I'll try factory resetting the router later ;-;
