I need help finding a mod - EVO 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

ok, first of all, I'm running CM7 and i've seen some kind of mod where instead of displaying bars it shows the numeric value for the signal strength. Does anyone know
where I can get this? Or is it even compatible with CM7/AOSP roms?

Its in the cm settings, interface, status bar tweaks.
However, its only in the nightlies. (If I remember right, around 150)

Imitation miui 4

Would there be any possible way to make a miui 4 look a like based off of cm9 with all the features? Lets just say for the people who live on 4g
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
What's the point? Just wait for 4g to hit MIUI4. CM9 is a pure blessing for us epic owners.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Besides the fact it has been stated multiple times miui will probably never see 4g
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Dude...stop using voice recognition to make posts, the result is gibberish.
Are you asking for a theme that would make CM9 look like MIUI4? If so I'd say you are out of luck. IMO the things that make MIUI interesting go much further than the items that could be themed over on CM9.

A MIUI V4 look alike based on cm9 "with all the features" of MIUI V4 would be MIUI V4.

Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
There are several apps out there. Personally I don't use them. Some tips would be to turn off all location services in settings and raise or turn off auto refresh intervals of apps and/ or widgets

Probably. I haven't ran cm10 in awhile but if the updates re-write system files then most likely that mod will be erased each time.

If you need tether or bluetooth, the answer to your question is no, not for now. Other than that look in the original development forum and you have many choices for great cm10 or aosp based rom.

How about AOKP? I've been running it for a week and it is really stable for me with great battery life!

Bluetooth fixed, huh?
And, what' the pic function? Is that a replacement for lockscreen targets? I might have to finally make the switch permanently.

There was a bug on previous build on Bluetooth but on yesterday's build he fixed it .
Its a pie not pic ; from which you can do certain thing by sliding ur finger up from bottom. Check rom thread for it. Lockscreen target are already customizable in it.

You have to try both and decide by yourself. The reason for different ROMS is not that one is better than the other. It's a matter of which one works for you and your phone. You will not get a definitively answer here. Don't be affraid and try them.
I used to be a big CM fan, but once I started using AOKP, I ditched CM (even thought it still has a place in my heart)
I did a clean flash wiped phone and all cache and got the boot animation screen for a very long time. Couldn't wait as I am at work so I went back to Mr_1... Any advice?

The CM has a couple of things aokp doesn't have an vise-versa. Cm10.1 still has the old status bar toggles with quick settings and aokp doesn't. Cm10.1 also has the slider shortcuts as well

Nice, please report you experience.
There is a way off doing it yourself: Fork Cyanogenmod source and cherry pick the commit. I can assure you you will find no app version (this is not ios).
Lbe does it.
