(Q)ROM Manager Premium Help!!! - Verizon Droid Incredible 2

Does anyone know how to get ROM Manager premium to unlock once you buy the premium key? I have the latest rom manager and the latest premium key just as it specifies. It still has all of the premium items in settings blacked out and I still cannot recieve notifications for when a new nightly is available. I didn't pay $6 for this premium key to not get any decent features outside the ones available on the free version.

Reboot then try again

I did reboot, it does nothing, I still only have access to the things available in the free version, When i click the menu button it also still shows the option to "Buy Premium".

Email the developer. Have you uninstalled and reinstalled both.

I have tried Uninstalling/Reinstalling, I have tried rebooting, I have tried rebooting and wiping dalvik and cache. Nothing works. Developers do not respond. I looked in the comments on the market and dozens of people have this problem with no help from the ROM Manager developers. This crap started when they stopped making an actual Premium app and started using this terrible premium key insallation. Very frusturating, I never had issues until this changeover happened.

This should really be in the general section not here.

You need to install the free version, them install premium key app, then click the free version to use it.

yeah, definetly not a *development* post

Go to the application details for premium license and clear data. Then re-open ROM Manager. That fixed it for me.

Nope, didn't help. I'm really getting frusterated now, I never had this issue with the Premium App. This key is just a big headache.

im on CM7 and its not there, its not in google play at all
I went to the android market... errr.... google play market and typed in xda and click on the xda premium and pushed it to my phone which is running CM9 Beta 1. When i installed cm9 beta 1 i formatted everything that clockworks would allow such as system boot data cache delvik and repartitioned sd card and then used cwm to usb mode the sd card and copied my beta 1 and gapps and non sprint fix for data over and it all works....
I did no wipes and just typed in xda and it popped right up on beta 1 as well as from my work Galaxy Note.

Same here, I have not done any wipes since Alpha0, and am on beta1 and all 3 XDA apps show up for me in Play Store, and the market updated itself to 3.5.15
Will it let you guys who don't see it, download it from here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...iY29tLnF1b29yZC50YXBhdGFsa3hkYS5hY3Rpdml0eSJd
Kenny I followed your link and it worked!!! The strange thing was it said I had the XDA app installed the free version not premium. Note I had issues restoring my previous version of the XDA app through Titanium. I just decided to go ahead and get the premium anyway. Not sure why it wasn't showing up in the Play Store app on my phone but on my PC there it was. Frustration solved!!

Check the market version. If its v3.7.13 then that is your issue. For some odd reason this version wont let u update or install apps over 4G. You have to uninstall the google play update.

After you change it back to default, you need to open up settings apps and find the play store and google services framework and clear data for both those apps then relaunch the play store.
There are modded markets that removes DPI variable and replaces it with a stock DPI setting.
You can try this one its not the one i use but its close. They give options to both inverted or not. If it doesnt work for you then i'll upload the zip that i have i just hate not giving credit to whoever modded it. I can also mod the market to remove just the DPI and leave everything else the same too. As some modded markets give errors because they mod too much. But the one i posted in the link seems pretty promising.

Don't open it. Lol. It's a flashable zip update. Flash it in recovery. It's saying it's not supported because you don't have an app which can handle zip files. Like root explorer for instance.

[MOD/APP] Updated 3/21/13 Custom Apps When Headphones Connected

I saw it asked in the FK23 threads and it peaked my curiosity, so a little searching and some messing around and here's what I came up with..
This is NOT my work!
First I want to thank xCaldazar from the Verizon S3 forums for his guide here
Edit - Thanks to Mattix724 for finding this - and to rickythefox, after posting this I found several posts linking to a thread that I didn't see. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1763441
He has made an app that will do this and he also has a mod for the sgs3
Edited the guide and mod I made out as the app does this flawlessly, just make sure you have an updated version of busy box
Was given permission by rickythefox (Thank him in his thread please ) to port his mod for 12 apps listed when headphones are connected. So here is the new ported 12_app_headphone_mod.zip - 249.81 KB
Also, I forgot to mention, you need to download the app rickythefox made here in order for this to work!
Edit- Updated to work with GB08/GB27
Thanks TD for doing this while I was stuck at work LOL
Also for being kind enough to provide deodexed and odexed versions:thumbup:

Mine keeps saying "your device is not supported yet" though. Perhaps the compatibility is with stock TW only?

I uninstalled. As soon as I installed.
Biggest POS and waste of time if you ask me. To let FB be a complete home replacement, no settings to organize post from most resent. Its just horrible and looks like a battery drainer and a network hog. So if you're really passionate about FB (I don't see why anyone in the world would be) this is for you. If not, you'll probably just uninstall like me. Just my 2¢
